“My dog was so Happy, and she seems better behaved at the park, she plays with other dogs which she never did before. We are so happy, I feel like her anxiety is gone about other dogs. Chelsea is now our go to for a dog sitter. We are so happy with our dogs experience! Thank you Chelsea”

“Kris and her family took great care of our Romy and Tilly. Tilly has lots of medical/health needs and she came back refreshed and well fed. Romy is a sweet boy but was having some behavioral issues and they took care of all of it and offered some suggestions for us to help!”

“Leslie’s place was perfect for Teddy! He got lots of playtime with other dogs had lots of space to roam around and even got some premium food! He came home tired, loved, well fed, and learned some of new walking manners:). We will definitely be using Leslie Again!”

“Lisa and her daughter took wonderful care of my anxious chihuahua! During Fin’s stay, they took her to the park and gave her so many snuggles! We will be booking with her again! 🩷🐾”

“Jennifer took great care of our family member Blue. (As with some human family members, our canine family member can be a handful.). Jennifer worked with our requests and Blue’s nuances/personality. Couldn’t be more pleased that we found Jennifer and were fortunate to have Blue hang out in a great environment, with customized attention. Five stars.”

“Sheila is fantastic. Ruby, a full of energy slightly anxious three year old Shih Tzu, was so completely contented when I picked her up after a full week with Sheila. She understands and “knows” dogs. I highly recommend Sheila and expect to ask her to care for Ruby again.”

“Lenore took great care of my dog. Scout and her dog, Rook, seemed to get along and it was great to know that she was staying in a “dog friendly house.” It can be hard to leave your dog behind with a stranger, but I felt confident that she would be well cared for.”

“This is our first time dropping our dog off to stay somewhere overnight. Dolly put all our nervousness to rest. She is very knowledgeable about dogs. It was evident from the videos and pictures she sent that our dog was having a great time! She got lots of exercise and play time, and we would gladly trust Dolly with her again. Our dog was not sure she wanted to leave when we came to pick her up!”

“Sophia was wonderful and exactly the kind of person we were looking for to watch after our little bug for the first time. I could tell right away that she holds a lot of care and respect for animals, and I think Nori was even a little unsure about saying goodbye. She even kindly sent Nori home with a toy that she fell in love with! She gave us plenty of photos and updates, and was incredibly flexible with our schedule and Nori’s need. I can’t wait for Nori to visit Sofia and her three pups again, and highly recommend if you’re looking for a sitter you can trust! ❤️”

“Cade and his family are wonderful people, they took in our dogs like they were their own. Cade was very communicative, sent plenty of pictures for my daughter and easy to work with. Thank you so much for taking great care of them.”

“Susan always takes great care of our little, slightly anxious dog. We’re repeat customers because we trust her and know she’s reliable, communicates well, and cares about the dogs.”

“Li was amazing with my puppy Skye! She was so well cared for, loved, and happy the whole time. I got sweet updates and could tell Skye was totally at ease. So grateful to have someone I fully trust—Skye already misses her new friends!”

“Li is extra kind with our dog Cedric. He understands poodle’s behaviors and takes great care of them. He send timely updates, always responds very quickly. My dog is very active and energetic and he had much fun and went home satisfied and tired.”

“Shari and Richard took great care of our little Timber for the weekend for us while our son got married. He came home so happy. They are a great couple who clearly love dogs.”

“Kelsey was great! Her house and environment is so clearly set up for any dogs needs. Her kids were gentle and well dog informed! My dog has IBD and she was kind enough to give me details about her appetite, any GI upset, etc. She was communicative and available and really put my mind at ease! Would/will absolutely use her services in the future!”

About: I have lots of well rounded animal experiences. I’ve worked in barns as a groom/exerciser/stable hand, I worked in a daycare boarding facility for cats and dogs for a short while, have helped look after many friends and family’s farm animals and house pets in the past and have my own animals as well. I’m super knowledgeable and would love to be considered for all your pet needs! I have availability any day of the week and can always work my schedule around you! I’ve always loved animals and as a stay at home mom , I’m looking to make money where it fits I have a duplex like living situation . It’s a one bedroom home with a fenced back yard . The other person on the property owns two dogs as well but the yard is fenced off separately so there’s no contact . I have a 4 yr old German Shepard who’s a saint and has love for every creature:) he’s gentle and good with senior dogs, small dogs, large dogs , cats and anything in between. Respectful of boundaries but it’s also possible to have him go to grandmas house so if your dog doesn’t get along with others, that’s okay too!
“Here’s the translation: It was Chai’s first time staying away from home, and we treated it as a trial run for a longer stay. Minerva was very open and kind about all our worries and questions, and she made sure to take care of Chai in every detail, always sending us updates and little news. Now Chai will be staying with her for 15 days, and we’re certain she’ll be extremely well cared for, with lots of love and attention.”

“Rachael was absolutely wonderful! She loved and cared for Charlie like he was her own and sent us lots of fun videos and pictures of him enjoying his time with her. I would highly recommend her. :)”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Custer
Communication with Chelsea was excellent; she was always prompt to respond and incredibly knowledgeable about dogs. Since my newest rescue is a very picky eater, I was thrilled when she gave me some great food recommendations I’d never heard of before. We received regular updates while we were away, which gave us complete peace of mind. Chelsea was also incredibly accommodating with our drop-off and pick-up times when we ran into travel delays. Our dogs were wonderfully cared for, making our trip so much easier. I highly recommend her and absolutely plan to use her services again. Thank you, Chelsea!

Chelsea was wonderful. My Jack Russell had a stroke recently and I had not updated my profile. She rolled with it in grace and took excellent care of her. She clipped both dogs nails, and was even able to give my very water resistant dog, a bath. It was 4th of July weekend and she did everything to calm thier fears. 💯 recommend her.

Many sitters in WA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
