About: Hi! My name is Megan, I am 27yrs old and just moved to Blaine from Issaquah! I have two pups, Kona and Dixie, who keep me active and moving every day! I have owned animals my entire life as well as worked on multiple farms caring for animals such as horses, donkeys, pigs, goats, chickens, and ducks! About: New to Rover, not new to animals. Lower rates limited time only. Dogs have been part of my life since I was 7 years old, when I got my first dachshund. Since then, I’ve had 3 dogs + 1 cat + 2 parrots, all of whom lived into old age ❤️ So I have lots of hands-on experience with animals at every stage of life, including seniors who need a little extra patience and TLC. ✓ Puke doesn't scare me ✓ Poop doesn't gross me out ✓ Diaper change doesn't stress me out ✓ Puppies with sharp teeth + hyper energy excites me ✓ Older dogs who want more calmness, I understand ✓ Deaf dogs → I also have experience ✓ BONUS my home has 0 stairs and big green backyard While dachshunds have my heart, I’m also very comfortable with larger dogs, different breeds and energy levels. Your pet won’t be left alone for long stretches and I have lots of flexibility for playtime, cuddles, feeding, walks, bathroom breaks and whatever their normal routine requires. Pet interruptions during my workday are always welcome ❤️ My schedule is very flexible, including weekdays and weekends, so I can adapt to your pet’s existing routine rather than making them adapt to mine. I want your pet to feel like they’re having their own little vacation while you’re away! Since I work from home, I’m around throughout the day to supervise, play and make sure they’re comfortable and safe. My home has plenty of space as well as a private, fenced outdoor backyard where dogs can safely get outside, play and enjoy some fresh air. We’re also only about 7 minutes from a dog park, so if your dog enjoys socializing and you’re comfortable with it, we have that option too. I’m very clean, organized and attentive, and I’m happy to follow your pet’s normal feeding, walking, medication, sleeping and care routines as closely as possible. I also love sending frequent photo and video updates so you can actually relax knowing your fur baby is happy and well cared for. 🐾❤️

“Our dog Roxy had a wonderful stay with July and her family. They cared for her like she was part of their family. She got lots of attention, cuddles, and walks. They even gifted her some throwing balls that she loved during her stay. July was very good at communicating with us before and during our stay. She sent pictures multiple times a day and updated us on how Roxy was doing, I wouldn’t hesitate to have Roxy stay with her family again!”
“Walter and Angela were the perfect sitters for my dog Wanda. Before my vacation, I was so anxious because it was my first time leaving Wanda with someone new; however, as soon as I met them, I felt so much more at ease because of their warmth and great dog management skills. Wanda liked them right away too, which is not always the case for when she meets new people. Wanda was given lots of love and attention, long walks along the river by their home, and playtime, and when I came back 5 days later to pick her up, she was in no hurry to leave! Wanda was glued to Walter and gave him lots of kisses - he played ball and tug of war with her in the yard too. I also received lovely text messages and photos to let me know how she was doing. They also have a lovely home with a nice fenced in yard so its a perfect place for dogs. I'm so grateful that I met them and would like to use them again for future dog care services.”
