About: While I love all animals, cats hold a special place in my heart. I begged for a kitten when I was 8, praying that my parents would let me take home one from my friend’s barn cat litter. These are some of my clearest and most treasured childhood memories. Skittles was my best friend and I spent hours getting to know her as an individual. I learned to be very sensitive to cat communication as a child and I respect the patience and time it takes to gain the trust of those with shy or aggressive personalities. Cats are endlessly fascinating creatures and each one is a unique individual just like people. One of my first moves as an adult was to adopt a 5yr old rescue tuxedo named Pickles. I wanted to add to the family, but she had other plans and was destined to be an only child. I quickly referred to her as my “first born.” We worked through so many cat care challenges with her over the years and I can now confidently do everything from providing a nail trim without getting scratched to administering challenging medical treatments including injections and enemas. I now foster kittens from a local rescue during kitten season, and we adopted 3 of them along with a rescue pup last summer. I want to adopt them all, but I’ll have to settle for fostering, cat sitting for others and the occasional afternoon at a cat cafe!

About: I did not grow up with cats as my parents were allergic, but that didn't stop me from begging for a kitten. My experience with cats has primarily been petsitting for my sister's cat with medical needs, and I'm pleased to report that she warmed up to me quickly.
About: We have had 4 personal dogs who all get lots of love and attention, we lost our 2 oldest several yrs ago. We recently added our 4th pup to add love and laughter in our home. We love to give all dogs lots of attention and treats and are firm on reward based learning only. All our dogs have had some type of obedience training. We had been fosters and have had the pleasure of rehoming 16 dogs. We are available any day of the week for daily things. There is always someone home and have an active family. We do daily walks (1-2) times, a bucket of chewy toys, and bags of balls to chew on. We have a large fenced in yard for dogs to run in and a dog friendly home. We have lots of love to give and might love dogs bit too! This is a family side hussle, both my husband and I work full time with 2 active teens, we are always home and always on the go! About: Have had dogs since 1969 and had from malamutes to chihuahua terrier. I now adopt needy dogs as is my Schnauzer Benny who I adopted 6 months ago after my Eva ( chihuahua terrier mix died of paralysis). I have always loved dogs in our home and I rescue now the needy and handicapped dogs.. Benny a schnauzer is about 10 and is blind with glaucoma and was so mistreated and has been a challenge as well as one of the sweetest dogs I ve ever had. I raised my family of 3 boys in Boulder, Colorado and love mountain hiking and nature. I live in a beautiful neighborhood where I have access to trails 2 blocks from my home. Benny Isnd sll dogs I have benefit from a fully fenced yard and long walks through the BLM land that surrounds my homes. I am a healthy and active retired senior who loves hiking and outdoors. I have a trail two blocks from my home and can walk long distances and exercise your pet. Here in Blaine I spend my summer months since walking and dogs in the desert of Utah is too hot for furry pooches. Beautiful trails from my 1st floor condo… parks and ocean… walking dogs is spectacular in this Semiahmoo neighborhood. Very safe and gated community.

About: I've had dogs in my life since I was 8 and all my dogs have shown great love towards me because I give them the full love back. I am known in the family as the family caretaker when our dogs get old and need special attention. The reason I take care of my dogs when they get older because I have the patience, attentions, and most of all, love in supporting them through their elderly stage. All pets deserve the best and I am more than happy to provide that! I am currently taking the year off from work to travel the world but in between my trips I have a lot of free time and feel it can be better spent taking care of pets while other people can enjoy trips or another activity that requires them to leave their pet at home. About: Trixie and Norton were the loves of my life. Two amazing dogs that I had for years. I also had a wonderful black kitty, Snookers. Although I have not had pets since then, I have taken care of family and friends' dogs whenever possible and am looking forward to caring for others 4 four-legged family members. I look forward to having the opportunity to be there for people who need a trustworthy, loving, and patient person to help them with their pet sitting needs. I am respectful of pet owners, their homes, and pets, and caring, flexible, and understanding. If a pet needs someone with high energy and activity or a mellow, calm, and quiet sitter, or anywhere in between, I am comfortable with it all! I am also a semi-retired healthcare professional who continues with professional writing, which I can do anywhere and anytime. Providing care and dealing with emergencies is second nature to me, and I know that it would be a pleasure to offer a wonderful sitting experience for your pets. I am fortunate to have great flexibility in my role as a health care consultant. It is very part-time and often remote. I always have ample notice about my work, which allows me to keep commitments I make as a house sitter. I follow the instructions well and do not make assumptions. I feel it is important to clarify all details with the client so I can offer the best possible care. My role is to be respectful of others' property and give the quality of service your pet(s) deserve. They need to be nurtured and nourished with as little disruption as possible.
About: I've been caring for dogs both big and small since I was a kid! From shitzus to golden retrievers, I have experience feeding, walking, and playing with dogs in a variety of settings. I recently moved back to WA after 6 years in Boston. I do not have a full time job at the moment so my schedule is very open and i’m able to provide pet care pretty much any time! Providing the best care for your pet is my top priority! At your home, I can create a safe, comfortable atmosphere for your pet by tending to their needs with a friendly, caring approach.
