Her facility is fantastic, featuring a huge, fully fenced dedicated play area where Boss could run around safely and burn off his energy. Knowing he was in such caring hands and had a safe space to play gave us complete peace of mind while we were away. We will definitely be booking Alex again on Rover for our next trip. “Bernard stayed with Angela and Walter for 3 days. It was our first time using Rover for care of our elder dog. They were open to a quick meet and greet too. Their space (indoor and outdoor) is perfect! I was so nervous because Bernard is getting older and has some back end tenderness, loss of balance, and has a specific raw diet. Walter and Angela were super responsive in communication. They followed his raw diet plan and B's walking and bathroom times. Forested walking trails are nearby and it is helpful for him to use his nose. They adhered to his feedings, sent pics and had this wonderful enthusiasm for Bernard. This was a good sign because at one point in his life Bernard was so shy and reactive with strangers. The 2nd time we asked Walter and Angela was just for a single day/night while fire alarm testing happened in our apt complex. It was a last minute thing. They were available and excited to see him. When we came over, Bernard immediately ran to them both, sidled up to them, and went into the house. It was so cool. So endearing. I knew he was in the right hands.”

About: A Little Something That Makes This Sanctuary Special 🌿🐾 What makes my home a little different is the kind of environment I love creating for the animals who come through our doors. With 23 years of experience caring for dogs, I’ve learned that they all have their own little personalities, needs, and ways of showing us who they are. Some love to play and explore, while others are happiest having a quiet space to relax and someone nearby to keep them company. I love finding that balance between adventure and downtime. We have a spacious property to enjoy, walks to go on, time for play, music to enjoy, and plenty of opportunities for cuddles and Khennection . And when it’s time to slow down, that’s welcome too. 💗 I’m naturally drawn to creating a calm, comfortable atmosphere where animals can settle in at their own pace. I don’t believe every dog needs the same thing. Sometimes they need a little extra play, sometimes a bit of reassurance, and sometimes just the comfort of knowing someone is there. My intention is for your dog to feel like they’ve come to visit a friend, rather than simply being dropped off somewhere while you’re away. And of course, I know how much trust it takes to leave a beloved companion in someone else’s care. Their comfort, safety, and individual needs matter to me, and I’d love for you to feel at ease knowing they’re being welcomed into our home with care and affection. A little fresh air, a little play, a little peace, and a whole lot of love. That’s the kind of experience I’d love to share with your dog. 🐶💗 My schedule is pretty flexible! 🐾💗 I’m available Monday to Friday from 8:30 AM onwards. I do have morning school drop off and afternoon school pickup, but otherwise I’m home most of the day and can accommodate pet sitting into the evening. I’m also happy to offer overnight boarding when needed. I’m open to working with pet parents to find an arrangement that works best for everyone. 🌿🐶 I live on a spacious acreage with lots of room to enjoy the outdoors! My property isn’t fenced, so outdoor time is always something I’ll discuss with pet parents beforehand. For dogs who like to wander or aren’t reliable with recall, I use a leash to keep them safe, just as I do with my own pup. If your dog has excellent recall and is accustomed to being off leash, we can chat about what’s appropriate for them and their safety. Inside, my home is clean, spacious, and comfortable, with lots of cozy spots to curl up and relax. We have soft blankets, comfy bean bags, and plenty of room for a good nap after a little adventure. There’s also a large patio where dogs can enjoy some fresh air while staying within a supervised space. I share my home with my Chinese Crested hairless dog, who is almost 11 years old and very quiet, independent, and happy to snooze most of the day, as well as my two gentle Sphynx cats. They’re all used to having visiting animals around, and we’ve had lovely experiences with friends bringing their dogs over. My priority is making sure every animal feels comfortable, respected, and safe in our home. I’m always happy to chat with pet parents about their dog’s personality, routines, and specific needs beforehand so we can make sure it’s a good fit for everyone. 💗
