“My honey and I have been using Ms. Dollys services to watch our two naughty 75 pound plus babies for a few months now. I think we have boarded our dogs a total 4 times with her. She’s always super accommodating and willing for emergency stay overs if your 4 hour drive from Oregon turns into 8 hours (life saver). Ms. Dolly handles my helicopter dog mom ways and assures me “ I got this” ( she really does) Our babies LOVE Ms. Dolly and even know her by name. They get some serious zooms when we leash up by the door and mention dolly town. Upon first arriving a few months ago I was so happy to see she has a full on kennel set up, rubber washable mats, large and heated areas to run and play on icky days. Toys, leashes you name it. We even forgot our food one time, no worries dolly had a back up that matched the very specific sweet potato and salmon diet we had going. It’s like having a family member watch your dogs but the family member is also super professional and also operates a full puppy bizniz. Upon arrival you will be asked to fill out a secondary form, shots, vet, food routine, emergency contact ect. Ms. dolly is seriously a pro. Drop off is always super emotional for us but Ms. Dolly always sends pics and videos. It seems like she hangs out with our dogs all day by how much play time they actually get. They even did a bonfire and hung out with our pups the way we would do in our backyard. Your dogs are family and it shows. Ms. Dolly has a full backyard where your dogs can run and play and party all night if they wanted. This is a serious plus for our very energetic pitbull and spaz German Sheppard. I would never choose another boarder. Thank you Ms. Dolly, we love you! - Brandon, Katy, Ghost and Ranger.”

She went above and beyond with our dog: videos, photos, long walks, feeding him special food since he wasn’t feeling his best, and just taking really good care of him. What stood out to me was how much time she genuinely spent with our dog. You can tell when someone’s just going through the motions, but not Lenore. She was present, communicative, and you could feel that she really cared. Her own dog—a 2-year-old lab-shepherd mix—played so well with ours. They got along like old pals, which was a huge relief during their time together. I’d trust Lenore again in a heartbeat.”

“We arranged Susan H. to look after our 7-year old Havanese Roxy for 5 weeks while we had to make an international trip to Nepal. Roxy had never been without one of us (either myself or my wife Sharon) with her ever, during her entire life. At home, Roxy is very communicative, and well-trained to pee and poop outside, and rarely had accidents inside the house. Apparently, Roxy had a difficult time adjusting at Susan's house. It could have been the new environment and/or smells of other dogs that had been there previously. I think Roxy was also very distressed at not being at home and also that both of us had left her (or not knowing that we were ever coming back). Susan was very patient with Roxy, showed her a lot of love, and communicated regularly with us via messaging about Roxy's adjustment, issues, and progress. We were most appreciative. In the end, after 5 weeks when we picked up Roxy, Susan told us that Roxy had become like a family member in her household. When asked if she would again care for Roxy in the future (if/when we needed), Susan's answer was, "yes, indeed". I cannot recommend Susan more highly. She did a 5-star job looking after our little girl.”

About: I'm in college, studying to be a Veterinary Technician. I've had many types of animals and I've been caring for animals as a way to make money for several years- predominantly dogs. I am free on weekends. I'm usually free on Wednesday and Monday. I'm available at 1pm on Tuesdays, and I'm available on Fridays and Thursdays after 4pm. I had a senior pug who sadly rent over the rainbow bridge last year. The last few years she was with me, I had to give her medication, take care of her eyes and give her a special diet. I grew up with cats and as soon as I moved out, I adopted a rescue cat who was destined to be an only child in her forever home. Now with 3 rescue cats and one young rescue lab with a past, our home is at full capacity, but I love meeting new furry characters through pet sitting. I’ve been pet sitting for friends and family for nearly 2 decades. Recently we were in a bind to find someone in our circle to care for our rowdy pup, so we turned to the Rover community and immediately found a fantastic local dog walker. I love that Rover provides a place for pet parents to connect and I’m now in the local network of pet sitters as well! I believe every dog is an individual and should be respected as such. Every challenging behavior simply reflects a need. I know how tough it can be to find a good match for a rescue pup with a past, and I’d love to provide help as a sitter/walker who is comfortable navigating challenging behaviors! I love a cat who hisses at strangers, and I love a pup who has enough wild energy to power a small city. My current work situation is a bit slow so I’m working part time with a somewhat inconsistent schedule. Usually I have the most availability to help with pet care in the afternoon and evening. Thursday-Sunday are usually very flexible. Feel free to reach out and let me know what your needs are! I have a small 3bd home with a small fenced in yard. I live in a densely populated neighborhood with many dogs, and with a highly reactive pup I am very safety conscious and accustomed to providing vigilant supervision both when my dog goes out on his own to potty or while on walks.

“My honey and I have been using Ms. Dollys services to watch our two naughty 75 pound plus babies for a few months now. I think we have boarded our dogs a total 4 times with her. She’s always super accommodating and willing for emergency stay overs if your 4 hour drive from Oregon turns into 8 hours (life saver). Ms. Dolly handles my helicopter dog mom ways and assures me “ I got this” ( she really does) Our babies LOVE Ms. Dolly and even know her by name. They get some serious zooms when we leash up by the door and mention dolly town. Upon first arriving a few months ago I was so happy to see she has a full on kennel set up, rubber washable mats, large and heated areas to run and play on icky days. Toys, leashes you name it. We even forgot our food one time, no worries dolly had a back up that matched the very specific sweet potato and salmon diet we had going. It’s like having a family member watch your dogs but the family member is also super professional and also operates a full puppy bizniz. Upon arrival you will be asked to fill out a secondary form, shots, vet, food routine, emergency contact ect. Ms. dolly is seriously a pro. Drop off is always super emotional for us but Ms. Dolly always sends pics and videos. It seems like she hangs out with our dogs all day by how much play time they actually get. They even did a bonfire and hung out with our pups the way we would do in our backyard. Your dogs are family and it shows. Ms. Dolly has a full backyard where your dogs can run and play and party all night if they wanted. This is a serious plus for our very energetic pitbull and spaz German Sheppard. I would never choose another boarder. Thank you Ms. Dolly, we love you! - Brandon, Katy, Ghost and Ranger.”

She went above and beyond with our dog: videos, photos, long walks, feeding him special food since he wasn’t feeling his best, and just taking really good care of him. What stood out to me was how much time she genuinely spent with our dog. You can tell when someone’s just going through the motions, but not Lenore. She was present, communicative, and you could feel that she really cared. Her own dog—a 2-year-old lab-shepherd mix—played so well with ours. They got along like old pals, which was a huge relief during their time together. I’d trust Lenore again in a heartbeat.”

“Walter and Angela are a caring couple who love dogs. My dog Lucy was in their care Friday -Sunday at their home. They have a big house and big backyard. Although I was concerned about the gate in the back I was confident that they would be able to handle Lucy. I did hear that Lucy when peeing out the back escaped the backyard into the neighborhood. However Walter and Angela were quick about letting me know and tracking down Lucy as fast and safely as possible. They assured me they would find her and they did. Thankfully with their quick response they were able to find Lucy and pick her up from a neighbour. They found her from the pound being notified of a puppy in their back yard. They safely and promptly secured our dear Lucy. They then kept her safe for the next night and I picked up Lucy on Sunday which she seemed happy and excited. Thank you so much for taking care of Lucy 🙏🏼☺️”
