“Alena was so sweet with my pup Mochi! She gave her lots of love and attention, made sure she was well exercised, and even worked on the current commands we are teaching. Alena is punctual, safe, and communicative. She is the best dog walker and sitter around!”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs of all sizes and temperaments since I was 13. I have experience in petsitting through family, friends and neighbors. Animals have always been in my life and their needs adjust my daily life. I’m currently a university student who is studying computer science. So a lot of my homework/ assignments are done on a computer meaning I’m home for most of the day! I have lots of extra time to interact/ have fun with a pet at home :) Walking: I provide long and stimulating walks with lots of sniffing, playing and exercise. Drop ins: I really enjoy these! I love greeting dogs and providing them with the mental/ physical stimulation they need for the day! ( I have lots of ideas prepared everyone’s different personality/size/activity) Boarding/ sitting: not available right now

“Chloe was amazing!! This was our first time using Rover for our pets. Chloe was super responsive, flexible, & sends lots of pictures and updates. Can’t recommend her enough!”

“Conner was very responsible, easy to talk too, and clearly loved animals! He was available for a last minute walk, which was convenient because of my asthma flare up. My pup came home super happy and relaxed. Will definitely book again!”

“We couldn’t be happier with Taylor! From day one, it was clear how much she genuinely cared about animals. Our dogs absolutely light up every time she arrives which says everything you need to know. She is reliable, professional, and always goes the extra mile—whether it’s making sure our dogs get the perfect amount of exercise, sending updates and photos, or just giving a little extra attention and love. It gives us real peace of mind knowing our pups are in such capable and caring hands. If you’re looking for someone trustworthy, kind, and truly exceptional with dogs, we highly recommend Taylor shes made a huge difference for both us and our Pups”
“adrianna was so communicative and kind! my shyer kitty seemed to warm up to her very quickly. i appreciated the thorough updates and pictures. when we encountered a travel nightmare on our way home and had to extend our absence, she was very helpful and supportive.”

“Flannery was really great with my 8 month old puppy! I felt comfortable and at ease with her caring for my pup. She seems very knowledgeable and experienced.”

About: My pet care experience began when I joined a humane society volunteer program where I worked for 6 years and became a shift lead. Later, I worked at a doggy daycare and overnight pet hotel. There I worked with specific dog’s needs and care as well as managed a group of up to 60 free-roaming dogs (yes, it was as amazing as it sounds) I have worked as a pet sitter and dog walker for most of my life, and I have experience with a variety of breeds, sizes, and temperaments. I have also worked with horses for most of my life and in the summers I care for horses on a large farm. They are pretty much a bunch of big, funny, puppies. I am formally trained in: -Dog first aide and CPR -Dog, cat, and small animal body language and care -Dog Bathing -Basic obedience training I am currently a recent WWU graduate working a part-time job. Being in my gap year after school, most of my time is flexible and social. I’m looking to fill some of my free time working with cute pets! While I do have a good foundation in general pet care, pet safety, and dog behavior, I prioritize the individual needs of the dog. I may have experience with many pets but no one knows your dog better than you. Care, to me, is about open communication and making sure your pup is happy!
About: Love dogs! Grew up with 2 (1 large golden lab, 1 small Havanese). Currently we don't have a dog, but plan to in the next few years. We have a home with a large fenced off backyard space in the Columbia neighborhood, just north of Downtown Bellingham. Live with my girlfriend, who will also be around and contributing to pup hangs. I work from home, so ample time for playing, hangs and walks during the day. Happy to take longer runs/walks or trail runs too during the day. Happy to do doggy day care during the day, overnight sits, or schedule some weekly walk during the day from yours if the proximity makes sense! The app won’t let me delete some photos from two years ago, so the current house and outdoor photos are not correct, will update when I can! For walks, I work from home, and manage my own meeting schedule so can be pretty flexible for hour long walks. For Doggy Daycare, would be open to hosting a dog at our place, both during the week, and if we are home on the weekends. And for over night sits, open to discuss what works best for you. But would generally be open to hosting here as well. Have lived with dogs most of my life! Understand the rules and boundaries owners set up for them, as well as the loving attention they deserve and need. They will get lots of outside time (as I myself am an outdoor enthusiast), and lots of head pats or allowed treats, and happy to continue to reinforce any training commands or routines for the younger pups as well.
“Our pup had a great time when Rebekah stopped by for a drop in. She took lots of pictures and provided a detailed description of what she did with the dog. Absolutely recommend her!”

About: I have had cats and dogs my whole life, and I am very comfortable with both small and large pets! I have had a few high maintenance pets myself so I can understand any routines your animals might have. I am a part time worker, so I will have plenty of free time to spend with your animals! I am available most of the time on weekdays or weekends. I have had mots of experience with different types of pets so whatever specifics your animals need, I can provide. I am happy to walk any pets, or follow any specific feeding or medication routines. I am a very tidy person and will always be sure to clean up after myself.
“Patricia was incredibly responsive and kept us updated with adorable photos while we were away. It was clear from the start that she’s a true cat person with the patience and understanding needed for our little beasts. 😊”

“Sophia was very attentive to the needs of my anxious and senior pups. She is great with communication, in time visits and sharing updates with photos. I highly recommend Sophia. Your pets will be in great hands!”

About: I've been taking care of dogs since I was a kid, and to this day, I'm the go-to pet sitter in my family. I have a small dog who’s 4 years old and is very friendly with other dogs, cats, kids, and more. I’ve had him since he was a puppy and personally potty trained him, so I have plenty of experience with puppies. While I haven’t personally cared for a senior dog yet I have lots of free time and am confident I can give any senior dog with the care he or she needs. I'm currently doing some online classes, and I'm unemployed because I'm new to the Bellingham area so I have a bunch of free time to spend with your dogs. I live in an apartment so | don't have a yard for your pup to play in but I'll take your dog on walks very often and I personally take my dog to the dog park very regularly and would love to take yours too if you'd like.
“Aiden did an excellent job of taking care of our cat Wayne! Wayne warmed right up to Aiden and came out for pets and to play each visit. We will definitely be booking him for petsitting again.”

“I hired Natalie for seven visits to attend to my cat while I was gone for a long weekend. She was on time for each visits and sent me photographs of my cat Grey Cloud when she completed a half hour with him. He was fed and his litter box scooped as I instructed. This was my first time hiring a pet sitter and it was well worth it.”

Bellingham dog parents share their Rover experiences
I was so happy with Abby as my dog's sitter while I was out of town. She was very professional and thorough in gathering details before the drop in times. And was very communicative during the entire time I was away. I felt assured that my dog was getting the best care. Would happily have her watch Perseus again.

Jewel is absolutely amazing. She is incredibly communicative, reliable, and truly great with our dogs. We have three dogs who are not easy, and she handled them with so much care and confidence. We trust her completely, which is not something we say lightly. She also jumped in to help us last minute, which we were so grateful for. We couldn’t recommend Jewel enough!

Really appreciated the walks while we were away today. Upon return, Topo seemed chill and cared for. She took extra effort to give him Frozen Kongs during his times alone. She also had a lot of patience with my instructions. This was the first time I used Rover in many years. Will absolutely be booking her again. Cheers!
