Hi! I’m Clara! 🐾 I’ve been caring for animals for over 5 years, and loving them for as long as I can remember. I grew up on a farm surrounded by cats and dogs, and caring for them was always one of my favorite parts of the day. I’ve even had the unique experience of helping rescue an owl! I have a Bachelor’s degree from Western Washington University and spent the past 3 years working at a local elementary school, where I was trusted with the care and well-being of children every day. That experience has taught me to be patient, attentive, responsible, and, most importantly, to meet each individual’s needs. I’ve also been trusted by family, friends, and Rover families to care for their pets in all kinds of situations—from overnight stays and walks to drop-in visits, playtime, and plenty of cuddles. Whether your dog needs a long adventure, some extra attention while you’re away, or simply a calm friend to keep them company, I’m happy to meet them where they’re at. Every pet has their own personality, routine, and comfort level, and I believe the best care starts with getting to know them. My goal is for your pets to feel safe, loved, and completely at home while they’re with me. You can trust that I’ll care for your pets as if they were my own. ❤️🐶🐱

Schedule
Pet care is my sole focus currently- so I will have plenty of time to care for your pet! I am available both weekends and weekdays, I'm a morning person as well, so I don't mind an early morning with a pet.

Safety, trust & environment
It is imperative that your animals feel safe and comfortable around me, so I will meet them where they're at. I don't force connections, and I will always make sure that they know I am a safe human to be around. Routines and schedules are important, as well as being able to read an animals cues and understand what they need in that moment. I can provide that for your pet.
Pets
A typical day
I love to meet a pet where they’re at! If you have an active, excited pup then I am more than happy to go on a walk or hike with them. I also love the cuddles from our less hike-enthused friends :) Either way, I’ll make sure your baby has a stimulating, happy and relaxing experience!
