About: I’ve always had a big heart for pets. 7 years ago, the opportunity came up for me to rescue a senior dog with a lot of health issues. During my time caring for my senior dog, I’ve had to administer medication, provide at home bath to help him with anxiety, and bond with him through gentle play and massage so he can live comfortably and happily. This year, I was able to welcome a new puppy into my family. I’ve trained him from the ground up and he is now such a gentle and loving puppy who is great around all. While taking care of my own pets, I’ve dog sat for neighbours, friends, and even friends of friends because I often get recommended! I’m a teacher! A perk of being a teacher is that I get a lot of time off. My weekends are free along with all stat holidays. And not to mention spring break and summer!! So, I have a lot of long weekends and off days which allow me to take care of your lovely pet friends. If you have time off and would like to go take a break away from home, I’m here to help! I have one and a half acre of fenced property for your pet to run around in! Not only that, but also a cute and friendly golden retriever friend to keep your pup company. My golden retriever is crated. However, I respect whatever routine you’ve set with your pet! I am happy to crate or not! Just let me know! The pets are also allowed on the furniture if that’s what you’d like. My goal is to have your pet babies feel as comfortable as possible!

About: While I love all animals, cats hold a special place in my heart. I begged for a kitten when I was 8, praying that my parents would let me take home one from my friend’s barn cat litter. These are some of my clearest and most treasured childhood memories. Skittles was my best friend and I spent hours getting to know her as an individual. I learned to be very sensitive to cat communication as a child and I respect the patience and time it takes to gain the trust of those with shy or aggressive personalities. Cats are endlessly fascinating creatures and each one is a unique individual just like people. One of my first moves as an adult was to adopt a 5yr old rescue tuxedo named Pickles. I wanted to add to the family, but she had other plans and was destined to be an only child. I quickly referred to her as my “first born.” We worked through so many cat care challenges with her over the years and I can now confidently do everything from providing a nail trim without getting scratched to administering challenging medical treatments including injections and enemas. I now foster kittens from a local rescue during kitten season, and we adopted 3 of them along with a rescue pup last summer. I want to adopt them all, but I’ll have to settle for fostering, cat sitting for others and the occasional afternoon at a cat cafe!

About: I’ve had cats my entire life and I have experience with every age group there is. I helped my mother care for her 21 year old senior cat during his end of life care, I have experience administering oral medication, and I’ve been raising my own cats since they were 3 months old. One of my dogs has EPI and the other has diabetes. Just with humans, I believe its crucial to learn about animal's emotional, physical, and health needs. Pets or not. I work part time as a lifeguard, my schedule changes every 3 months or so but otherwise it’s consistent weekly, the longest days I work are 5 hours. I mainly work on weekends but can always coordinate with you if you need someone for the weekend. I find it important to know the boundaries and needs of animals and to know when to back off and just let them be. (within reason). I am careful with what and who pets interact with. I like to slowly introduce myself and let them come to me. I am also very careful about what has been left out/what a pet could get into and ingest.

About: Training my two aussie shepherd girls is a passion of mine, we herd sheep a couple times a week. I am proud to say I can keep up with them, although raising an aussie puppy is not for the faint of heart! They deserve adventures so I take them to new places with new smells and I would be happy to help your pup experience the world in a new way too! If you're not comfortable with that, they are safe in my home too 💚 Pet care is a full-time job and I treat it as such. Fur babies in my home get enrichment via toys, puzzles, treats and exercise- happy to train your doggo under 90lbs to use our treadmill! About: I’ve always had a big heart for pets. 7 years ago, the opportunity came up for me to rescue a senior dog with a lot of health issues. During my time caring for my senior dog, I’ve had to administer medication, provide at home bath to help him with anxiety, and bond with him through gentle play and massage so he can live comfortably and happily. This year, I was able to welcome a new puppy into my family. I’ve trained him from the ground up and he is now such a gentle and loving puppy who is great around all. While taking care of my own pets, I’ve dog sat for neighbours, friends, and even friends of friends because I often get recommended! I’m a teacher! A perk of being a teacher is that I get a lot of time off. My weekends are free along with all stat holidays. And not to mention spring break and summer!! So, I have a lot of long weekends and off days which allow me to take care of your lovely pet friends. If you have time off and would like to go take a break away from home, I’m here to help! I have one and a half acre of fenced property for your pet to run around in! Not only that, but also a cute and friendly golden retriever friend to keep your pup company. My golden retriever is crated. However, I respect whatever routine you’ve set with your pet! I am happy to crate or not! Just let me know! The pets are also allowed on the furniture if that’s what you’d like. My goal is to have your pet babies feel as comfortable as possible!

Him and his family took such great care of my boys, and put my mind completely at ease while I was out of town for Christmas. “Cade and his family took wonderful care of our pup Luna. We were overseas for 3 weeks, which felt like an eternity away from her, but we felt happy & confident in the care she was receiving. This was our first time leaving her anywhere so we couldn’t help but feel a bit anxious. Cade sent updates and photos almost daily and that was great for us. Seeing her & hearing how she was doing helped us feel at ease. They made her part of the family & she got lots of love and attention. The huge enclosed outdoor space they have is beautiful for roaming, walks & hanging out in the sun. We could see how much Cade loves dogs and his knowledge and experience was helpful and welcomed as Luna has only been with us for 6 months. We will absolutely bring Luna back to Cade’s anytime we need boarding for her. Thank you Cade :)”
