About: I’ve worked with dogs professionally for the last 4 years. Have 3 years of pet CPR/first aid training. In my 4 years I’ve spent lots of time researching the best ways to bond with each breed using play and their natural instincts. I love working with the lower confident pets and helping them find their way out of their shells. I’m currently not working, doing dog training on the side. I am very open for availability for holidays, weekends, in home stays or even just to take your pup on a fun day trip! I live on 2 acres not fenced in. I utilize long lines and leashes for potty breaks and allowing pets to run and play. I have 6 very social dogs in the house who are open and ready to play if your pup is open to it, I have lots of experience in introducing dogs and cats to each other in positive ways. I love to take my dogs on hikes and would love to get out with some new buddies as well if they are up for the challenge!

About: I grew up working on a farm! Not only am I familiar with training puppies and caring for cats, I also know my way around a barn. I have time in the early mornings and evenings to visit your pets! I am also able to house sit and provide daily exercise to any extent you need! I love to go on walks and adventuring in parks. But I also love just sitting on the couch with a dog or cat :) I am flexible and ready to meet whatever your pet needs!

About: I have taken care of my own pets and barn animals for 10+ years. My family and friends have relied me to feed, care for, walk, and play with their animals. I love dogs and cats, and have always been used to having them around. I am a full-time graduate student with a part-time job. That being said, I have time throughout the day, every morning, and every evening to stop by and play with your animals! I also have weekend availability. Since I currently do not own my own home and rent from a local in Burlington, I do not have in-home space to host and/or board dogs or cats.

About: I really enjoy meeting all kinds of cats and dog and appreciate their quirky personalities. It's especially great when I get the change to develop relationships with them from repeat connections. I'm current unemployed and will likely be working online part-time, seeking work, or doing online research projects. So, my time and place are very flexible. One of my dogs is difficult/unpredictable with other dogs, so I'm likely to do care away. (My dogs are probably a little TOO interested in cats.)

About: I’ve taken care of a variety of dogs for the past several years. I’ve worked with all sorts of pets; from pitty puppies to senior chihuahuas, from kittens to houseplants, as a pet parent myself, I know what it means to be able to leave your fur babies in the care of someone who cares about their wellbeing as much as you do. I am a substitute teacher, meaning my schedule is flexible according to YOUR needs and wants for your ideal pet sitter/walker. The nature of my career allows me to be fully flexible! This means that your pet gets the best care possible, and is my number one priority while they are in my care. In my home, my pets are my babies. I am very particular about who I entrust them with while I am away, so I understand the stress that goes into finding the ideal sitter. I do not use loud voices or sounds with animals, and believe that motivators and positive reinforcements work best. If they do something that might impact the space, I will reach out to you and troubleshoot to the best of my ability, NOT display anger toward them. I am attentive to all grooming and hygiene habits, and even if I am just scheduled for feedings I promise to give them some love and affection/playtime if it seems they’re interested. I truly pet sit for the love of animals and want to make the process as easy and fun as possible for all pets and their humans!

About: I've been taking care of animals my whole life! I have a big heart for dogs, especially. I have two dogs, Scooter & Rocco, & have very little time in my life without one. I am more than happy to bring your dog to my place to hang out with my boys. I can do walks & doggy play dates! I'd also be willing to stay at your place for longer periods & during the week if I could bring my two boys with me! I have trained Scooter to be an ESA with additional tasks & a therapy dog. I work full time & have a very flexible schedule. I can pop in during the work day & work from home when needed! I have free time on weekends & some evenings, so if you work odd hours, I'm more than happy to stop by & feed, get out for a walk, & such! I always follow house rules. I generally ensure that gates are shut, collars are on, leashes are secure. I will treat your babies like my own & I do not play about my boys.

About: I've had pets my entire life, so as soon as I was old enough, I started dog sitting and walking. I love animals of all kind and can't wait to meet yours! The following is my technical experience in the field: Maggie (my own dog): Maggie was the third dog I've ever had and the first of which I was able to truly help with. We got her when she was a puppy and she's a Vizsla so she has always had boundless energy. I helped with her training when she was a puppy and she's pulled the leash her whole life so I have experience with that as well. Again, she has always been extremely energetic. In sum, Maggie has helped me learn how to: - Care for a puppy - Walk a dog that pulls - Entertain a dog with boundless energy Kona My professional experience with dog walking and sitting was with an elder dog named Kona. I worked with him for just about 4 years part time. Kona had two parents who both worked full time jobs and had a horse at another location so I would go over when they were gone all day and spend time with him, take him on short walks, and occasionally to the dog park. Kona really helped me to understand the intricacies of working with an elder dog, and although he's gone now, I think about the time I spent with him regularly. Kona helped me learn how to: - Care for an elder dog - Stimulate a dog with limited ability _ Read a dogs body language and have patience with them I am currently in full time school and not working in a formal setting. I am unavailable most mid-days however I'm completely free on the weekends. The following is a schedule of my open availability: Monday: 6:00am-9:00am and 3:00pm to 10:00pm Tuesday: 6:00am-11:00am and 3:00pm to 10:00pm Wednesday: 6:00am-9:00am and 3:00pm to 10:00pm Thursday: 6:00am-11:00am and 3:00pm to 10:00pm Friday: 6:00am-9:00am and 3:00pm to 10:00pm Saturday: 6:00am-10:00pm Sunday: 6:00am-10:00pm As a pre-note, I wanted to say that I have an official work resume with references if you would like to see that before we meet in person. Dog Walking I do not have any supplies of my own however I have used many different types of leash and harness in the past. I am physically able and comfortable walking long or short distances at varying paces. On longer walks, I will carry water and dog bags with my the entire time. Pet Sitting I will maintain your pets schedule and follow any guidelines of being in your space. I do not offer dog sitting in my home as I live in a building with three other people, I would be more than happy to watch your dog in your home. I am open to meeting your dog with you there before the official sitting date as I know some dogs are sensitive to new people. I am comfortable feeding and entertaining your pup as I have been around dogs my entire life. I will also be aware of any emergency contact information that would be necessary in an emergency. House Sitting I will ensure the home is secure, and perform basic tasks like collecting mail, watering plants, and maintaining cleanliness. I understand that I will be in your space and am open to following any rules you might have for your home.
