“Fantastic communication and care. Patient with senior needs and understanding of the specific needs that come with that. Would absolutely recommend and work with Skylar again.”

“I believe Melia has been Moose’s favorite sitter of all time, I don’t even think he missed me. She is very attentive to all the small nuances and went above and beyond to me you feel comfortable taking a trip away from my lil man. could not recommend enough…seriously, you’re lucky if she is free”

“Madison was a wonderful cat sitter. This is our first time having someone stay at the house with the cats while we were away and Madison did a wonderful job. She was very communicative, sent pictures of the kitties and left the place in great shape. Will definitely hire her again!”

“When Jeffery came over to meet us and our dogs for the first time, we immediately knew that we could fully trust him. Our dogs could be handful but we knew Jeffery can handle them in calm and warm way. One of our dogs had a big surgery and needed to be supervised, so we asked Jeffery to watch him and other dog while we’re gone for a day trip. When we came back, dogs looked so relaxed and they were acting like they knew him for a long time. We felt so relieved to have someone reliable staying home with our pups.”

“Samantha is a wonderful sitter. She looked after our young dog for 10 days in our home. Pepper got lots of exercise and cuddles and we received lots of photos and updates. 10/10 would ask Samantha to help out again.”

“Willow did a fantastic job staying in my home with my Ziggy. She had clear and quick communication. She left the house very tidy and Ziggy enjoyed his time with her. Thank you Willow!”

“Phillip was a Godsend when my husband and I both had to unexpectedly leave town for several days. We feel lucky that Phillip was available and willing to accept the assignment....despite knowing that we (the dog parents) are very particular and our dog has some "special needs." We appreciated Phillip's reports about Sato and the photos from their outings. When I returned it was clear that Sato had really bonded with Phillip. That was heartwarming! The house was neat and clean too. Always a real bonus when a housesitter is new to the place. Even the most picky pet owner will be happy with Phillip's services!”

“We rebooked Cady for our house, pups, and ducks. She is extremely attentive to our home and animals. She took care of everything we needed and gave us consistent updates while we were gone. We came back to a clean home with extremely happy animals. We are very happy with the services we get when we use Cady! We will continue to use her as long as we can!!”

“Shyla was INCREDIBLE! I have a very demanding cat, Tiny and was extremely nervous about leaving her as I had never left her for that long. Shyla was amazing at housesitting for over two weeks, providing frequent updates and photos and was able to develop a bond with Tiny. Normally Tiny is angry when I come home from trips, but this time she seemed happy which was just an amazing thing to return to. Highly recommend Shyla, she is the best❤️”

“Daryia is the sweetest person ever!! She was amazing with our sweet dog and took such good care of him. Our dog is older and has a few heath issues and Daryia put so much thought and care into making sure he was okay. I can’t recommend Daryia enough!!”

“Charlie was great! He’s a repeat. We have two dogs that are hard to deal with because of their past but Charlie managed to win them over and even get one of them for a walk. I would strongly recommend him!”

“Kami was great! She was very receptive to the needs of my reactive dog and kept me updated on how he was doing throughout the trip. She left my house in perfect condition and both of my dogs loved her. I’ll definitely hire her again!”

“Meagan was fantastic with our two cats! She left our cats and house in fantastic condition after her week long stay with them. She was quick to respond and sent lots of pics as requested. She was great about communicating any question or requests.”

About: As a lifelong pet owner and animal lover, I truly understand how much trust it takes to leave your pets in someone else's care. I've personally raised and cared for animals since I was a kid. These pets have included cockatiels, lizards, dogs and cats of all ages. This experience gives me knowledge in order to provide age-specific care, whether that means longer walk/ play time or gentle attention and medication support for seniors. I am flexible with my schedule due to a work from home schedule. This means more time to play and care for your pups! I am availability typically Monday- Thursday but will update my Rover calendar as frequently as possible to reflect an accurate schedule. I like to send a lot of photos and videos in order to keep you updated and feel at ease (Unless you ask me not to!) One thing that really helps things go smoothly is a detailed schedule & notes (written or typed) for your pet if they have any. Please let me know if there’s anything else I can do to keep your pup safe and happy.
“Zoe is a lifesaver! I just got back from a trip and Alfie barely wanted to leave her side. Our cat Mochi is very shy and even she came and rubbed against her legs. I will definitely be using Zoe again and would recommend her for anyone that has anxiety about leaving their furry friends!”

About: I have over 5 years of experience with both pet care and child care. I have a Bachelors degree from Western Washington University, and I have worked at a local elementary school for the past 3 years. I’ve taken care of animals almost my entire life, I've even assisted in rescuing an owl! I’ve been trusted by several family members, friends, and other Rover families to watch over their babies, whether it’s staying with them overnight, taking them out and getting active, or just being there to have someone to cuddle with for an hour or two. I grew up living on a farm surrounded by cats and dogs and taking care of them was my favorite part of the day. You can trust that I will care for your pet as if they are my own. Pet care is my sole focus currently- so I will have plenty of time to care for your pet! I am available both weekends and weekdays, I'm a morning person as well, so I don't mind an early morning with a pet. It is imperative that your animals feel safe and comfortable around me, so I will meet them where they're at. I don't force connections, and I will always make sure that they know I am a safe human to be around. Routines and schedules are important, as well as being able to read an animals cues and understand what they need in that moment. I can provide that for your pet.

“Ava was absolutely amazing with watching my house and two pups. The dogs are great and the house is in great shape as well. I'd highly recommend Ava to anybody looking for these services.”

Lori was absolutely amazing. Will 100% be going back to her. She took such great care of my dog and two cats. Lori took a lot of time at our meet and greet asking questions and greeting my critters at their pace. Her gentle and patient demeanor with my dog gave me so much confidence leaving her in her care. I recieved daily updates and photos of my happy and relaxed critters. She also took lovely care of my home and I cannot thank her enough!

When Jeffery came over to meet us and our dogs for the first time, we immediately knew that we could fully trust him. We felt so relieved to have someone reliable staying home with our pups.

I would give Kami 6 stars if I could! She is a wonderful pet sitter, and I always feel completely at ease leaving my two dogs in her care. She stayed in our home for 4 nights while we were away and followed all of the instructions we left for her, and we came home to a clean and tidy house. Our dogs can be a handful at times--one is 12 and the other is 3, so they have very different needs, and she is so great with both of them. It’s clear that she genuinely cares about the pets she watches. I would highly recommend Kami to anyone!

Emilia was an incredible sitter for our two high energy dogs. She took care of our big malinois and our crazy puppy, taking them on multiple long walks and to the park, as well as giving them lots of love. She accommodated our very last minute request, working around her schedule for us. She followed our instructions and was super communicative, sending frequent pictures and updates on our pups. Your pets will be in very good hands with Emilia!

Matthew exceeded expectations! Not only is he professional, but it’s also clear that caring for dogs is a full time passion. My pup, Cooper, loved him and Matthew even took time to train him. I will definitely be booking again and recommending him to all my pet owning friends. Very grateful to have you in the area Matthew!

Harper is absolutely wonderful! Harper watched our spunky lab for a few weeks over the holidays and she was exceptionally well cared for. We loved the clear communication, regular updates, and cute photos. It was obvious that Langley was having the time of her life on Harper's farm. We'll definitely be booking with Harper again soon.

Sene did a great job taking care of our two dogs and home. They were disappointed when we came home because they had so much fun with her! :) We will definitely hire Sene again and highly recommend her services to anyone with high energy, high maintenance pups!

Frequently asked questions about Rover
The average cost for House Sitting in Noon on Rover is $54.49 per night (as of September 2026). However, all sitters set their own rates based on experience, location, and availability.
Rover makes budgeting the cost of House Sitting easy. As long as your dates and pet profiles are correct, the price you see before you book is the same price you pay for House Sitting. For more information on service fees, click here .
As of September 2026, there are 666 sitters on Rover offering House Sitting across Noon. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Noon walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Noon maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Noon choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Noon. On Rover:
- 96% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 96% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 95% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
