Pet care is a full-time job and I treat it as such. Fur babies in my home get enrichment via toys, puzzles, treats and exercise- happy to train your doggo under 90lbs to use our treadmill! We go out to herd a few times a week and get outdoors every day, rain or shine :)

Let me know what behavioral challenges I might need to overcome with your pet! I have experience with reactive dogs and both my dogs love other dogs.
A typical day
I would like to leave my Sat-Sun job to spend time with dogs full time Fri-Sun. I will be taking classes (away from home for 2-4 hours at a time mid day) Mon-Thurs for the next 4 years. In between the times I am on campus, I get outside as much as possible!

Training my two aussie shepherd girls is a passion of mine, we herd sheep a couple times a week. I am proud to say I can keep up with them, although raising an aussie puppy is not for the faint of heart! They deserve adventures so I take them to new places with new smells and I would be happy to help your pup experience the world in a new way too! If you're not comfortable with that, they are safe in my home too 💚

Leslie and I have known each other for the majority of our lives, meeting was back in kindergarten and having a close relationship during all the major phases of our lives. Being an animal lover was something we bonded over as children and seeing my childhood pets (a black lab and cockatiel) was always a highlight for her when she came over. I have so many pictures of her cradling and loving my current cats when they were babies and very tolerant and she'd even get intense cute aggression like they were her own babies. having her own dog was her lifes biggest dream and she chose one of the hardest breeds! as a pet professional, grooming for over 10 years i advised her to get anything but an Aussie. She didn't listen and dove into an intense lifestyle of training, patience and love. She is excelling at dog ownership due to her reading books and personal experience about dog behavior, as well as her exceptional eye for detail and joy over the energy of a dog and i have complete confidence that any animal in her care will receive the same attention and love.
I highly recommend Leslie as a dog sitter and care giver. She owns two Australian shepherds with polar opposite personalities. One is shy and sensitive, while the other is highly energetic, stubborn, and intelligent- she does an excellent job at providing for both her dog’s individual needs. She is disciplined with training and consistent at providing care for her dogs, ensuring both of them are mentally and physically stimulated. She is patient, knowledgeable, caring, and demonstrates a genuine understanding of dog behavior, making her someone I would fully trust with pets of all temperaments.
