About: I've been an animal person my whole life; from originally wanting to be a vet (decided to pivot due to the sadness that probably comes from being a vet) to caring for pets of my own. I've always felt I've been able to understand animals better than most people. I think it stems from my ability to innately understand their non-verbal communication. Hence, the Dolittle reference. A typical day in my home is calm, comfortable, and centered around the pet’s normal routine. I make sure they’re fed on schedule, have fresh water, a clean space, plenty of attention, and time to play or relax depending on their personality. I’m happy to follow any specific routines you have at home so your pet feels as comfortable and familiar as possible. I care for pets by following their normal routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, fresh water, litter box or potty breaks, playtime, and any special instructions from their owner. I also pay close attention to their behavior and comfort level, giving them plenty of affection when they want it and space when they need it.

About: I have taken care of my own pets and barn animals for 10+ years. My family and friends have relied me to feed, care for, walk, and play with their animals. I love dogs and cats, and have always been used to having them around. I am a full-time graduate student with a part-time job. That being said, I have time throughout the day, every morning, and every evening to stop by and play with your animals! I also have weekend availability. Since I currently do not own my own home and rent from a local in Burlington, I do not have in-home space to host and/or board dogs or cats.

About: I have taken care of dogs ever since I was a child- my dad rescued my dog, rosie, when I was 9 years old. I know all of the responsibilities that come with raising a furry friend, and I will gladly face any challenges in order to improve my skills and service. I am honored to work alongside you, as well as your dog. I work part-time, as I attend high school. I am avaliable 5-7am and 4-12pm on weeknights. I am also avaliable to spend the night, too. I care for dogs, as cats are not yet in my field of experience. I am able to run, walk, feed, love and give attention to your fur babies as needed. In addition, I am prepared for any mess and will always leave the house tidied and cleaned up.

About: I have experience caring for pets of various ages and temperaments, which has prepared me to confidently manage a wide range of situations and provide dependable support in times of need! As a full time Kinesiology student at Western Washington University, I build pet care into my daily and weekly routine just like I do with my classes and training. My rhythm is structured and organized, which allows me to reliably set aside time for walks, feeding, play, and check-ins. Being active and studying movement also makes spending time with pets a natural fit—I enjoy incorporating exercise, outdoor activity, and consistency into their care while balancing my academic responsibilities. In my clients home I will make sure to foster a safe, comforting, and attentive environment for their furry companion such as being conscientious of potty breaks, crate time, and playtime!

About: I’ve taken care of a variety of dogs for the past several years. I’ve worked with all sorts of pets; from pitty puppies to senior chihuahuas, from kittens to houseplants, as a pet parent myself, I know what it means to be able to leave your fur babies in the care of someone who cares about their wellbeing as much as you do. I am a substitute teacher, meaning my schedule is flexible according to YOUR needs and wants for your ideal pet sitter/walker. The nature of my career allows me to be fully flexible! This means that your pet gets the best care possible, and is my number one priority while they are in my care. In my home, my pets are my babies. I am very particular about who I entrust them with while I am away, so I understand the stress that goes into finding the ideal sitter. I do not use loud voices or sounds with animals, and believe that motivators and positive reinforcements work best. If they do something that might impact the space, I will reach out to you and troubleshoot to the best of my ability, NOT display anger toward them. I am attentive to all grooming and hygiene habits, and even if I am just scheduled for feedings I promise to give them some love and affection/playtime if it seems they’re interested. I truly pet sit for the love of animals and want to make the process as easy and fun as possible for all pets and their humans!

About: I love animals!! I have a 9 year old golden doodle and she loves new friends! We are very active so your pet will get plenty of play time and exercise with us. I am home frequently and can accommodate dogs of many needs. I have used rover many times myself and I aim to provide the same high-quality love and care that my dog has received.
