About: Over the years I have dog sat, walked dogs for people with dogs of all ages, breeds and sizes. I have always taken pride in my care for my dogs and of course others as well. I currently don’t have a dog of my own as I am new to Bellingham, but I have a lot of experience with senior dogs as my first dog a 100lb malamute lived to be 16. I love big dogs, high energy dogs, small dogs. I am confident in my ability to handle all breeds energy and size! I work 4/ 10’s Monday through Thursday. Looking to fill my 3 day weekends with dog care! I will be available for dog sitting and dog walking every week Friday through Sunday. I like to get outside and walk and be active with my free time I live in a pet friendly condo with a large grassed dog friendly area and walking path behind the property. We have a fenced in balcony porch that the dog would have access to. Dogs would be allowed on furniture and bed. About: I got my first cat when I was 8 years old and had been in love with them ever since. Since then I have had 5 cats, anywhere between 6 weeks old and 15 years old, and I've loved them all. I tend to draw cats to me where ever I am and they truly bring me so much joy. I know how to take care of all ages and types of cats and would love to help take care of your furry friends :)
About: My pet care experience began when I joined a humane society volunteer program where I worked for 6 years and became a shift lead. Later, I worked at a doggy daycare and overnight pet hotel. There I worked with specific dog’s needs and care as well as managed a group of up to 60 free-roaming dogs (yes, it was as amazing as it sounds) I have worked as a pet sitter and dog walker for most of my life, and I have experience with a variety of breeds, sizes, and temperaments. I have also worked with horses for most of my life and in the summers I care for horses on a large farm. They are pretty much a bunch of big, funny, puppies. I am formally trained in: -Dog first aide and CPR -Dog, cat, and small animal body language and care -Dog Bathing -Basic obedience training I am currently a recent WWU graduate working a part-time job. Being in my gap year after school, most of my time is flexible and social. I’m looking to fill some of my free time working with cute pets! While I do have a good foundation in general pet care, pet safety, and dog behavior, I prioritize the individual needs of the dog. About: Animals have always been a huge part of my life. As the daughter of two veterinarians, I grew up working in a veterinary clinic. More recently, I worked in a dog boarding facility, so I am comfortable caring for animals of all behavior types and physical conditions. I understand how important our pets are to us and I am eager to help ! I work another part time job, and my schedule gives me plenty of openings throughout the week to stop by. I am available Monday-Tuesday and Thursday-Saturday on most weeks, but my schedule is flexible. I have a car and am able and willing to drive to clients’ homes within a wide radius.
