About: Not only have I had my own dog for 15 years, I’ve also been a pet sitter for at least 6 years for many different families. I love all animals, and will treat your pet like it’s my own. I’m flexible with schedules, different pet care needs, and I’m an avid communicator. I’m a current WWU student, so my schedule varies by the quarter. I usually only have a couple hours of classes or work a day and then have availability the rest of the day. My own home is available for short term pet sitting, but always has a lot of people coming and going. I’m perfectly comfortable with house sitting in other peoples homes and adapting to whatever environment your pet is used to.

About: I have grown up around animals my whole life, and as such I think I have a unique set of skills and experiences that make me more than qualified to watch over your animals! I have had horses, goats, alpacas, bunnies, cats, and dogs in backyard my whole life, and I have experience housing sitting all types of dogs, cats, and even the occasional bird. Caring for animals has been apart of my life since before I could even walk and because of this I feel confident in my ability to maneuver any situation involving animals and make sure they stay happy and healthy while in my care. I am a student at WWU and have a pretty busy schedule during the week but weekends are always free, and I could open something up during the week if needed, as long as it’s in the afternoon. I have experience with anti social and reactive dogs as well as super friendly and cuddly dogs, and I understand that each dog has their quirks and needs to be taken care of in a specific way. I can promise that I will always put consideration in my care for your animals based on their personality and comfort levels. About: I have been dog sitting the past 4 years. Ever since I moved to Bellingham leaving my golden retriever that I grew up with at home with my parents I have loved the opportunity to care for dogs that remind me how special they are as companions. I have experience with potty training and completely understand that accidents can happen for both young and old dogs. Whatever stage of life your dog is at I will treat them with the same love and care as I would my own. I work 4 days a week 7am-3pm and have a lunch break that I can let dogs out. My evenings are very free to spend with your sweet pets on walks, playing in the yard, or snuggling on the couch! My top priority is to make sure your pets feel safe and stress free while you are away. I will always do as much as I can to maintain the same habits as they have with the owner even if that means I am sharing a bed with a massive husky! Communication is so important for me so I always offer picture updates throughout the week so that you know your pets are in good hands.

I can handle dogs of any size and energy level, having grown up with a very high strung Vizsla and a small rescue. About: I have been fascinated by animals all my life and deeply care for all of them. My family always had at least 1 dog at home and we would often have other animals such as fish, a chameleon, or a stick bug. I frequently helped care for other pets around the neighborhood when asked to do so and still enjoy stopping to say hi to many of them on walks. Most of my experience, however, comes from my work history. I have worked almost exclusively at various kennels since I was old enough to work at around 16. While the vast majority of the animals I cared for were dogs, I also got some experience with cats, birds, and even rabbits once or twice. Because of my prior work experience, I am very good at handling dogs of all kinds and don't get grossed out by messes. I am a college student at Western Washington University. So, starting on the 23rd I will be available after 11am M&F, after 1:30 T&Th, and after 5 on W. The Weekends I should be completely free unless I have plans. Within these available times I can show up as needed to care for your pet. For walks I will initially say hi and give your pup some pets as I gear them up for their stroll. As far as the walk itself goes, I will always let the dog go at their own pace and will generally try and be out for around an hour in your neighborhood unless I am requested not to. For walk-ins and house sitting I will begin by giving your doggo some cuddles before quickly letting them outside to go potty. Afterwards I will scan the house or crate for messes and clean any that may have surfaced. Following cleanup I will take them out to either play or go for a walk depending on owner preference and then feed them according to owner specifications (Feeding and exercise can be interchanged depending on timing and instruction). In this time I can also send updates to you about how everyone's doing! From there I will likely either sit with the pet for a little and leave if I am just checking in or try and do some school work or something if I am house sitting. About: I’ve taken care of dogs of all sizes and temperaments since I was 13. I have experience in petsitting through family, friends and neighbors. Animals have always been in my life and their needs adjust my daily life. I’m currently a university student who is studying computer science. So a lot of my homework/ assignments are done on a computer meaning I’m home for most of the day! About: My pet care experience began when I joined a humane society volunteer program where I worked for 6 years and became a shift lead. Later, I worked at a doggy daycare and overnight pet hotel. There I worked with specific dog’s needs and care as well as managed a group of up to 60 free-roaming dogs (yes, it was as amazing as it sounds) I have worked as a pet sitter and dog walker for most of my life, and I have experience with a variety of breeds, sizes, and temperaments. About: I grew up with 3 family dogs and have had a variety of pets throughout the years: fish, tadpoles, rats, gerbils, dogs, and insects. I have pet sit for cats and chickens for my neighbors from the time I was around 8 until I went to college at 18. I have also volunteered at humane societies caring for rabbits, guinea pigs, and other small animals. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
