About: I have had dogs my whole life. My soul-dog passed away last year and I would like to spend time taking care of your soul-dog. <3 I am well versed in reward based/clicker training. I can handle larger dogs and know to give reactive dogs the space they need. I like walking in the woods and on trails and would love to take your pup on a walk. I usually work in person 3 days a week and the other 4 days I spend working for myself from home or doing other hobbies. I have a very flexible schedule that works well for drop in visits/walks. I care for your pets like they are my own. I am patient, calm, and loving to all animals. My goal is to make their care as close to normal life for them as possible.

About: I have grown up around animals my whole life, and as such I think I have a unique set of skills and experiences that make me more than qualified to watch over your animals! I have had horses, goats, alpacas, bunnies, cats, and dogs in backyard my whole life, and I have experience housing sitting all types of dogs, cats, and even the occasional bird. About: I grew up with 3 family dogs and have had a variety of pets throughout the years: fish, tadpoles, rats, gerbils, dogs, and insects. I have pet sit for cats and chickens for my neighbors from the time I was around 8 until I went to college at 18. I have also volunteered at humane societies caring for rabbits, guinea pigs, and other small animals. I have experience training puppies, walking dogs and cats, and feeding and caring for a variety of animals. I have a very flexible schedule! I go on lots of walks and hikes and swimming trips that I would love to have a dog accompany me on. I am also available to house sit or stop by to feed animals. I will have a car that I can take animals in as well. Pets, especially dogs, are able to communicate their needs, and I plan on listening to them. If I am taking care of a pet in a client's home, that is also the dog's home and I will listen to what the dog needs.
About: I've been an animal person my whole life; from originally wanting to be a vet (decided to pivot due to the sadness that probably comes from being a vet) to caring for pets of my own. I've always felt I've been able to understand animals better than most people. I think it stems from my ability to innately understand their non-verbal communication. Hence, the Dolittle reference. A typical day in my home is calm, comfortable, and centered around the pet’s normal routine. I make sure they’re fed on schedule, have fresh water, a clean space, plenty of attention, and time to play or relax depending on their personality. I’m happy to follow any specific routines you have at home so your pet feels as comfortable and familiar as possible. I care for pets by following their normal routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, fresh water, litter box or potty breaks, playtime, and any special instructions from their owner. I also pay close attention to their behavior and comfort level, giving them plenty of affection when they want it and space when they need it.
About: My family consists of breeds ranging from German Shepherd’s and an ex K9 and dachshunds. I have worked with extroverted and shy dogs! I am patient with any breed and its needs. However, I did not hear from her about how the cats were doing or get any confirmation that she had visited until I checked in with her on the last day of my 3 day trip.

sitters on Rover set their own , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
