It's especially great when I get the change to develop relationships with them from repeat connections. I'm current unemployed and will likely be working online part-time, seeking work, or doing online research projects. So, my time and place are very flexible. One of my dogs is difficult/unpredictable with other dogs, so I'm likely to do care away. (My dogs are probably a little TOO interested in cats.)

About: Hi, my name's Isabelle! I grew up with two huskies, one mix and one full-bred rescue. Walking two huskies at once is something I learned to do, and while it wasn't easy, it was definitely rewarding! I currently have one cat of my own and help care for my father-in-law's cat, too. I miss having dogs so much that I decided to get into the dog-walking business. I would like to emphasize that I do NOT have formal training, just some experience with owning large dogs. If you want someone that'll drop in for play-time with your pups, or to take them on a good, long walk, I'm here to help! Cats also welcome! I am interested in helping local pet-owners take care of their critters, and my schedule is wide open. Please contact me a week or so in advance and we can plan your pet's care. I can drop in to play with your pet, or I can walk them. When I first meet any animal, I give them space to greet me on their terms, get my smell, and get comfortable before I move forward with any playtime or putting on a leash. I am careful to study their body language to make sure they are comfortable with me in their space. Even the friendliest dogs need a second to make a friend!

About: I have had pets my whole life! My person experience includes: nursing my yellow lab back to health after a car accident, caring for and raising 9 puppies, giving medication to pups when they reach their later years, and living with a loving my roommates cat! I enjoy walks and hikes as much as I enjoy staying in and cuddling with more chill animals! I currently work as an observer for fishing vessels, which gives me long periods of time in Bellingham where I am very available, and when I’m out at sea I pause my account. I am unfortunately not able to house dogs, but I can transport them to park, walking trails, and can promise the dogs will be well loved and cared for the entire time!

About: Hello! My name is Sara and I am a dog mom who loves any and all dogs! I currently have an 8 year old golden mountain dog. I’ve had dogs my entire life. I have always had a family dog and got my own when I was able to do so! If I could just spend all day every day with dogs, I would! I have funky availability right now! I have an hour lunch m-f that I can do a short walk or check in. Weekday evenings Wednesdays are open and eventually other days will be too. Weekends I have pretty open availability. I have experience with puppies and helping them learn basic commands. I also have experience with large breeds and reactive dogs. I am used to small dogs and large dogs and any dog in between. I think dogs are family and should be treated like it! I would love to walk your dog, play fetch, help them learn basic commands, give lots of pets and/or anything else needed! Finding a dog sitter you trust can be hard and I would give your dog nothing but the best! I work full time and am a mom and wife but can fit walks in on Wednesday evenings (will be more days soon) and weekends. I have a small secluded yard where our dogs could play I also have a field near by and many trails I am able to crate your dog if needed as well

I live in a 2 story townhouse with a small back patio. I have kept small and large dogs here without any issue. Usually I take dogs on a bathroom walk around the neighborhood, and for running or hiking, take them on trails. I have a running/bungee leash I use for running, but can use whatever harness, collar, and leash is preferred by the dog and owner. I have room for a crate if needed for overnight stays, but it would need to be provided as I do not own one. I have an SUV, and room for a dog bed and can hold a large dog in the back to transport for hikes or trail runs as needed.

About: I’ve spent my entire life growing up around many types of animals and was always taught to treat each one like family 🩵 I started caring for others pets around 12 years old and have taken care of many species and breeds of animals, owned multiple exotic animals of my own (frogs currently🐸), co-ran a pet sitting business for multiple years where I was watching up to 13+ animals at some points, and am comfortable with every breed-from the never ending energy of a border collie to taking it easy with a senior dog or sitting with them for an hour just to earn a little trust for anxious pups. I am a young, responsible and professional adult, I love the outdoors and taking dogs out into it, I am someone who thrives in an organized environment and am patient and more than willing to work with animals that need to build trust. My top priority is always the safety and happiness of the pets I take care of, always ensuring they are getting the mental stimulation they need as well as knowing their behavior and being able to accordingly keep them in situations they are comfortable and happy in. I work part time as a baker, I have the most availability saturday-Monday, but am available most weekday evenings. I love getting out into nature and am very willing to work with you to fit dog walks, sits or whatever else you may need with my schedule! I live in a house in a quiet neighborhood with a small yard, it’s directly across from whatcom falls park and I have lots of access to great trails and the river. I always carry everything I might need in any emergency situation with an animal I’m taking care of, I am very aware of my surroundings and am very good at catching animals behaviors before any situation has escalated and am able to prevent them, from both my animals and strangers. I have spent lots of time training and many hours learning about animals and the physical warnings they show in discomfort, I have always been able to safely remove or prevent my own pets as well as clients from a stressful situation. I have no trouble standing up for my animal if a stranger isn’t taking proper care of theirs and will always put myself between them and harms way.

I can handle dogs of any size and energy level, having grown up with a very high strung Vizsla and a small rescue. I am gentle, caring and will always do my best to ensure that your pet gets the best care possible. I am currently a student at Western Washington University, so i will have plenty of time in the mornings and evenings to ensure that your pet gets the utmost care. While I don’t have space at home to crate or board your pet, I am happy to take them on walks in the many beautiful parks and forests around Bellingham, or play with them in their home yard or house.
