About: My pet care experience began when I joined a humane society volunteer program where I worked for 6 years and became a shift lead. Later, I worked at a doggy daycare and overnight pet hotel. There I worked with specific dog’s needs and care as well as managed a group of up to 60 free-roaming dogs (yes, it was as amazing as it sounds) I have worked as a pet sitter and dog walker for most of my life, and I have experience with a variety of breeds, sizes, and temperaments. I have also worked with horses for most of my life and in the summers I care for horses on a large farm. They are pretty much a bunch of big, funny, puppies. I am formally trained in: -Dog first aide and CPR -Dog, cat, and small animal body language and care -Dog Bathing -Basic obedience training I am currently a recent WWU graduate working a part-time job. Being in my gap year after school, most of my time is flexible and social. I’m looking to fill some of my free time working with cute pets! While I do have a good foundation in general pet care, pet safety, and dog behavior, I prioritize the individual needs of the dog. I may have experience with many pets but no one knows your dog better than you. Care, to me, is about open communication and making sure your pup is happy!

About: I’ve lived with pets my whole life, and have experience caring for both cats and dogs of varying difficulty levels. I can handle dogs of any size and energy level, having grown up with a very high strung Vizsla and a small rescue. I am gentle, caring and will always do my best to ensure that your pet gets the best care possible. I am currently a student at Western Washington University, so i will have plenty of time in the mornings and evenings to ensure that your pet gets the utmost care. While I don’t have space at home to crate or board your pet, I am happy to take them on walks in the many beautiful parks and forests around Bellingham, or play with them in their home yard or house. About: I've had dogs in my life since I was 8 and all my dogs have shown great love towards me because I give them the full love back. I am known in the family as the family caretaker when our dogs get old and need special attention. The reason I take care of my dogs when they get older because I have the patience, attentions, and most of all, love in supporting them through their elderly stage. About: I have had pets my whole life! My person experience includes: nursing my yellow lab back to health after a car accident, caring for and raising 9 puppies, giving medication to pups when they reach their later years, and living with a loving my roommates cat! I enjoy walks and hikes as much as I enjoy staying in and cuddling with more chill animals! I currently work as an observer for fishing vessels, which gives me long periods of time in Bellingham where I am very available, and when I’m out at sea I pause my account. I am unfortunately not able to house dogs, but I can transport them to park, walking trails, and can promise the dogs will be well loved and cared for the entire time!

About: I have taken care of dogs since I was a child. I love spending time with them. I now have more time on my hands and would love to spend it caring for dogs who need some TLC. I had a senior pug who sadly rent over the rainbow bridge last year. The last few years she was with me, I had to give her medication, take care of her eyes and give her a special diet. I also had a lab who developed cancer and needed medication and a special diet. I feel I would be a perfect person to care for special needs dogs. I am retired so I have time to care for your pet from my home with frequent walks and/or bathroom breaks around our 5 acre property. I live on 5 acres. I do not have a fenced yard but take multiple walks throughout the day so your dog would be safely walked on a leash.

sitters on Rover set their own , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
