About: I have always had dogs! We live in the Silver Beach neighborhood and have recently lost our sweet little poodle and now that our children are grown and gone, I feel I can provide a safe, reliable, and fun space for dog parents who need a sitter. I am a homemaker who enjoys, hiking, and biking and being in the outdoors. I travel to see our son who is in college at UNC but for the most part am here in Bellingham and available for dog sitting. I have a fenced in yard in a safe neighborhood with lots of trails near my house for off leash or if it’s more important, leashed walks. Also, I love doggie cuddles.

About: I've been taking care of dogs since I was 11. For years, I have been trusted to care for, walk, feed, bathe, and snuggle all sorts of dogs. l work 8-4 weekdays. However, if your pup requires an afternoon visit I will be available! Just let me know what works best for you and I’ll be happy to make it work! I have taken care of animals since I was a child. I grew up with 4 dogs, 2 rabbits, 2 cats, 2 hamsters, and a bunch of fish. I care so much about animals and their well-being that I will do just about anything for them. Friends, family, and acquaintances have relied on me to walk, feed, and care for their pets. About: Years ago my Mother gave me a card. It said, “The more I know men the more I love my dog.” My family has always had dogs and cats too. Once having a discussion with my guy he said, “even the dog ranks higher than me!” A dog is more than a pet. They are a companion who loves unconditionally. Who is ready to play or not. About: My pet care experience began when I joined a humane society volunteer program where I worked for 6 years and became a shift lead. Later, I worked at a doggy daycare and overnight pet hotel. There I worked with specific dog’s needs and care as well as managed a group of up to 60 free-roaming dogs (yes, it was as amazing as it sounds) I have worked as a pet sitter and dog walker for most of my life, and I have experience with a variety of breeds, sizes, and temperaments. I have also worked with horses for most of my life and in the summers I care for horses on a large farm. They are pretty much a bunch of big, funny, puppies. About: Training my two aussie shepherd girls is a passion of mine, we herd sheep a couple times a week. I am proud to say I can keep up with them, although raising an aussie puppy is not for the faint of heart! They deserve adventures so I take them to new places with new smells and I would be happy to help your pup experience the world in a new way too! If you're not comfortable with that, they are safe in my home too 💚 Pet care is a full-time job and I treat it as such. Fur babies in my home get enrichment via toys, puzzles, treats and exercise- happy to train your doggo under 90lbs to use our treadmill! About: My goal is to provide an environment where I would feel good about dropping my pup off at (they are our children after all!). My condo is small but there is no shortage of fuzzy blankets, pets, and walks! Besides my dog, I never host more than one dog in my home at a time. I adopted my dog from the shelter over 10 years ago and makes sure he had plenty of cozy places to sleep, snacks, and walks! I current work from home, so I’m generally around most of the day besides going for a run. I often run in the morning, during lunch, or after work but this can be flexible to suit the needs of the animals! If your dog can run I will happily take them on a run with the me! :) I adopted my sweet Fox (Chihuahua mix) from the Oregon Humane Society over 10 years ago and he has been my best bud always by my side through all of life’s ups and downs and moves across states! He is approximately 12-13 years old, friendly, calm, and loves people. I live in a small condo but very close to walking areas, a lake, and a dog park.
About: Hello! My name is Melina and we have a 4-year old Vizsla, Rasco, who loves to sleep, play and follow us on adventures. Your pup will be treated as one of ours, with lots of play time, attention and cuddles. If you have a high-energy dog, he'll fit right in as well, as I go on longer hikes every day with Rasco. In the winter we often cross country ski and in the summer we bike, hike, go to lakes and anything else that's fun! We've got tons of dog toys and dog beds available. Pets are allowed on furniture, and we don't have/use crates as I will mostly be home and around. If you would like to bring your own crate, that is totally fine as well! We have a fenced in yard with a doggie door too, so they have space to play outside as well when we're not out on a walk or a hike. I am happy to answer other questions you may have, just let me know! I currently am taking time off work and have unlimited availability when in town. I am very flexible and open for new bookings and I would love to help care for your pets going into this spring! I will be going to hikes, walks and other adventures depending on needs. We have a fenced backyard and a doggie door, so dogs are always able to get outside anytime. I will usually be home during the day with the dogs, but if I need to run any errands, I will not be out for more than 2 hours.

There is a large on-leash dog area across from my apartment with tons of walking trails as well. My apartment is very spacious and I allow pets in my furniture/bed. I’m around to ensure the safety of your pet whether in my home or yours. When it comes to dog walking, I always check surroundings and pick the safest routes away from busy streets/areas.
About: I really enjoy meeting all kinds of cats and dog and appreciate their quirky personalities. It's especially great when I get the change to develop relationships with them from repeat connections. I'm current unemployed and will likely be working online part-time, seeking work, or doing online research projects. So, my time and place are very flexible. One of my dogs is difficult/unpredictable with other dogs, so I'm likely to do care away. (My dogs are probably a little TOO interested in cats.)

About: I have taken care of dogs since I was a child. I love spending time with them. I now have more time on my hands and would love to spend it caring for dogs who need some TLC. I had a senior pug who sadly rent over the rainbow bridge last year. The last few years she was with me, I had to give her medication, take care of her eyes and give her a special diet. I also had a lab who developed cancer and needed medication and a special diet. I feel I would be a perfect person to care for special needs dogs. I am retired so I have time to care for your pet from my home with frequent walks and/or bathroom breaks around our 5 acre property. I live on 5 acres. I do not have a fenced yard but take multiple walks throughout the day so your dog would be safely walked on a leash.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was 8, and I’ve walked a lot of my neighbors dogs for money. I’ve taken care of dogs and cats overnight, and I’ve helped train my neighbors dogs. I work part time and have a workout schedule so I take them out early in the morning, late in the morning, afternoon, evening, and before bed. Longer walks are always in the morning and at night and shorter ones are more frequent during the day. I provide a safe and loving environment for every pet in my care. I have a friendly dog who enjoys meeting new friends, and pets are always supervised and treated like family. While I don’t have a yard, I make sure dogs get plenty of walks, exercise and attention. For house sitting and drop in visits, I follow your pet’s routine closely, including feeding, walks, medications, and lots of affection. I live with my grandma in a calm, pet friendly home and am committed to keeping your pets happy, comfortable, and safe while you’re away.
