“Lizz was very attentive and tailored her cat sitting to our cats’ needs, as opposed to a “one-size-fits-all” approach. Lizz was very helpful with handling other miscellaneous requests around our house - unrelated to cat sitting. Lizz is very personable and friendly, and we felt very comfortable leaving her with our fur babies and access to our home. We will definitely request Lizz in the future!”

“I've already written a review, but wanted to write another because Jewel really is fantastic. One of our cats is on medication and getting him to take it can be a challenge, even for us! Jewel tried everything and found a way to get him to eat them, no problem! We are so thankful! Always recommending :)”

“Skylar was great with our elderly cat Lucky! Lucky usually hides from anyone who isn’t family, but she let Skylar take her picture and even accepted Nulo Treat from her. Skylar was flexible as our schedule changed a little and even helped us navigate the Rover app. I highly recommend her.”

“Michael was very professional when he came over for a meet and greet and treated the dogs well. His communication after his visit to take care of the dogs was great!”
“Madison is great! Very trustworthy and my 20 year old cat always seems in good spirits when I get home. She delivers his medicine twice daily as prescribed and stays in touch while I'm gone. Recommend her highly.”

About: Hi my name is Ella! I'm a college student and aspiring veterinarian with a passion for caring for animals, and hands-on experience working with animals of all kinds. I understand that every pet has their own unique personality and routine, and no matter what that is, I am happy to provide the care they need. I'm comfortable following detailed care instructions, administering basic medications if needed, and taking care of larger animals. I look forward to meeting you and your pet! I'm available to care for your pets any time, any day of the week throughout August and into late September! Whether you need a last-minute sitter or are planning ahead, I'd love to help. Your pet's safety and comfort are always my top priorities. I understand how important it is to follow your pet's routine, and I'll carefully follow all feeding, medication, and care instructions. I'll treat your pet like one of my own and make sure you receive regular updates while you're away.
About: I have experience caring for pets of various ages and temperaments, which has prepared me to confidently manage a wide range of situations and provide dependable support in times of need! As a full time Kinesiology student at Western Washington University, I build pet care into my daily and weekly routine just like I do with my classes and training. My rhythm is structured and organized, which allows me to reliably set aside time for walks, feeding, play, and check-ins. Being active and studying movement also makes spending time with pets a natural fit—I enjoy incorporating exercise, outdoor activity, and consistency into their care while balancing my academic responsibilities. In my clients home I will make sure to foster a safe, comforting, and attentive environment for their furry companion such as being conscientious of potty breaks, crate time, and playtime!
About: My pet care experience began when I joined a humane society volunteer program where I worked for 6 years and became a shift lead. Later, I worked at a doggy daycare and overnight pet hotel. There I worked with specific dog’s needs and care as well as managed a group of up to 60 free-roaming dogs (yes, it was as amazing as it sounds) I have worked as a pet sitter and dog walker for most of my life, and I have experience with a variety of breeds, sizes, and temperaments. I have also worked with horses for most of my life and in the summers I care for horses on a large farm. They are pretty much a bunch of big, funny, puppies. I am formally trained in: -Dog first aide and CPR -Dog, cat, and small animal body language and care -Dog Bathing -Basic obedience training I am currently a recent WWU graduate working a part-time job. Being in my gap year after school, most of my time is flexible and social. I’m looking to fill some of my free time working with cute pets! While I do have a good foundation in general pet care, pet safety, and dog behavior, I prioritize the individual needs of the dog. I may have experience with many pets but no one knows your dog better than you. Care, to me, is about open communication and making sure your pup is happy!
“Kallie took care of our kitty while we were away! She sent lots of pictures and took great care of him. She even spent some extra time with him one day! We will definitely use her again.”

About: While I’m new to professional pet sitting, I’ve spent years caring for my own pets and volunteering at animal shelters. This experience has given me a deep understanding of pet behavior, routines, and how to create a safe and loving environment for them! I'm new to Bellingham but so excited to build my schedule around pet care! I love exploring new areas in nature and seeing all of the beauty Washington has to offer for me. Right now I am available for drop ins, walks, overnight stays, etc. When I’m pet sitting in your home, I’ll treat it like my own keeping things safe, tidy, and comfy for your furry friend. I’ll follow your instructions to the letter, whether it’s letting myself in, giving meds, or sticking to their routine. If your pet needs a little extra love or space, I’ll be super chill and let them set the pace. My goal is to make sure they feel just as happy as they would with you
“We really appreciated Leslie walking our dog for a last minute request. She was very responsive and communication was easy. She even offered some helpful training tips. Thanks!”

About: I have taken care of cats my entire life. I have been responsible for all ages of cats (from kittens to elderly) and have loved every second I spend with them. I have never had a dog of my own however I have spent a lot of time surrounded by dogs in my life and love them too. I am currently a college student however my schedule is fairly light and I have a lot of time during the day to go watch your pet. Fridays-Mondays are my lightest days where I tend to have nothing going on and I would be more than happy to fill that time with your furry friends! Regardless of my schedule though I'm always able to work in time for pets! I live with four people and we have a kitten and a 4 year old cat who will be joining us soon. The cats are indoor cats and we live on a busy road. We have a very safe house and all of my roommates are very pet loving people!
“Teagan was a wonderful cat sitter! Trustworthy and kind, she was gentle and loving with our cats. She was reliable and communicative, sending us consistent updates while we were away. I felt very comfortable with her coming/going from our home and knew our cats were being well cared for. I highly recommend her!”

“Stone was terrific!! The dogs immediately loved her from the first time they met her. We never worried about them in her care. She even took them for walks! She went above and beyond. We will definitely have her back again!”

About: Hi, I'm Sydney! I am 20 years old and am currently a student at WWU. I have a lot of availability this summer and would love to spend time with your pet! I treat every pet like they’re part of my own family. I have hands‑on experience with everything from energetic puppies who need structure and play to older pets who require medication, mobility support, or extra comfort. I’m calm and reliable, which helps me build trust quickly and create a positive, stress‑free experience for your pet. Your pet is my priority. I would need to know up front if your pet requires 24-hour care, overnight care, or just potty breaks, feeding, and play time. I want to give your furry family member the exact care that they need. I will prioritize you and your pets' safety, care, and comfort. I am ready to accommodate whatever your pet may need, whether that is consistent walks, cuddles, or you name it!

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
