I have been a pet owner of both cats and dogs all my life. I love my animals, and love caring for the animals of other families. When I was young, I would dress up my dogs in play clothes and read them stories. With my whole heart, I understand that pets are our family. My family currently has 2 dogs and a cat. Now I care for their needs, including preparing and feeding a specialized raw diet for my two 11-year-old labs. From energetic puppies to senior pets, I tailor my care to meet each animal's needs - whether that means long walks, quiet cuddles, or administering medications with care and precision. When your dog or cat is in my care, I treat them like one of my own. What is most important to me is that I provide care as close as possible to what your animal is used to receiving from you. I follow your pets established routines to minimize stress and maintain consistency. I look for signs of distress, illness, or discomfort and will act quickly if something seems off. I keep homes secure by following all instructions regarding doors, alarms, keys and I never invite guests or leave pets unattended for long periods. Trust: I provide regular updates, photos and messages according to your preference. I respect your home and privacy, leaving everything just as I found it. Comfort: I maintain a calm, clean and nurturing atmosphere. Whether its cuddles on the couch, playtime in the yard, or quiet companionship, I adapt to what makes your pet feel most at ease.

Animals are free to roam in the house, will be taken out frequently for walks, and given lots of love by me and my partner!

About: Hi there! I am an animal lover and believe that pets are a part of the family. They're special and should be treated with as much love as they give to us! I grew up on a sheep and cattle farm and have experience with equine-assisted therapy, so I have experience with animals of all shapes and sizes. Additionally, I have worked at a doggy daycare where I assisted in watching, boarding, and bathing dogs of all ages and sizes. I work from home so I am available to keep a close watch on your pet, give them plenty of love, and take them out frequently for potty breaks. I have an unfenced yard and trails nearby for your furry loved ones to frolic around. I love hiking and am happy to have an extra furry companion tag along. I am also very respectful of others' property and will treat your home just like mine (but actually, probably even better!).

About: I’ve been around all animals almost all my life and have always had the biggest love for them. I have also worked at veterinary offices and love almost every part of it :) I am currently doing online courses for school at skagit valley college and have an open schedule to help out with any type of animal care :) I have a fully fenced back yard that dogs would love and hardwood floors inside my house for when they are inside. I am fully capable of taking care of the animals however wanted :)

I do own a cat, but she has her own reserved room in the home, she is older and takes blood pressure medications. She is not in the area where dogs are kept. Drop ins I offer the most safe and comfortable stays in the comfort of the pet's home, and I am sure to spend time with pets as requested!

About: I grew up with three dogs and formed deep connections with them as a kid. I've always been fond of dogs' happy-go-lucky nature and eagerness to be a companion on any adventure (or vocalize dissent). Dogs rely on their caretakers to provide them safety, sustenance, exercise, and joy - a responsibility I take seriously! Making dogs happy and healthy makes me happy, and so I do. I don't currently have any dogs, as I am in graduate school and live with several roommates. But my desire to do this job is in part to connect with dogs for my own happiness. I work 9-5 M-F and am in school, but my work schedule is flexible and I am able to work from home and take breaks often. I'm free most weekends. I like taking dogs outside for walks, runs, or playing fetch at the park. I'm a runner myself, so it's mutually beneficial. If your dog likes to snuggle, I like getting cozy with pretty much any dog or have them sleep on my bed. I'm a very affectionate person so I give lots of pets and words of affirmation. I'm also very detail-oriented and follow whatever feeding schedule you direct me to. I keep a safe environment by speaking kindly to dogs and being gentle with them, while being confident in taking control of a situation if need arises.
