While checking in on Willow, she left detailed messages and clearly made Willow feel safe and cared for. I really appreciated reading her notes when I came home (we were out of phone service for the weekend) and seeing the photos she took of our girl! About: I've been an animal person my whole life; from originally wanting to be a vet (decided to pivot due to the sadness that probably comes from being a vet) to caring for pets of my own. I've always felt I've been able to understand animals better than most people. I think it stems from my ability to innately understand their non-verbal communication. Hence, the Dolittle reference. A typical day in my home is calm, comfortable, and centered around the pet’s normal routine. I make sure they’re fed on schedule, have fresh water, a clean space, plenty of attention, and time to play or relax depending on their personality. I’m happy to follow any specific routines you have at home so your pet feels as comfortable and familiar as possible. I care for pets by following their normal routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, fresh water, litter box or potty breaks, playtime, and any special instructions from their owner. I also pay close attention to their behavior and comfort level, giving them plenty of affection when they want it and space when they need it.

Previously served for 3 years as the manager and lead caregiver in the boarding wing of a veterinary clinic, overseeing day to day operations, administering medications, and ensuring the health and comfort of all boarded animals. So pets are never left alone for long, unless I am running a errand or providing another pet a drop in! I have a fully fenced yard and a small little 15lb chihuahua mix that is super socialized with all dogs. He is a few years old and is a great playmate! I do own a cat, but she has her own reserved room in the home, she is older and takes blood pressure and seizures medications. She is not in the area where dogs are kept. Drop ins I offer the most safe and comfortable stays in the comfort of the pet's home, and I am sure to spend time with pets as requested!
