“Tyeler was amazing. She is very responsive and accommodating for our meet and greet. Both of our dogs liked her right off the bat. She asked great questions during our initial meeting and was flexible with our schedule changes. While checking in on Willow, she left detailed messages and clearly made Willow feel safe and cared for. I really appreciated reading her notes when I came home (we were out of phone service for the weekend) and seeing the photos she took of our girl! I would definitely recommend Tyeler as a sitter and look forward to having someone nearby I can trust when we go out of town again.”
“Thank you Ratih for taking care of our animals while we were gone. My wife and I are always nervous when we are away from home but Ratih kept us at ease. We especially appreciated the photos and short videos she sent us. I highly recommend her services and we will be using her again in the near future.”

“Thank you Jennifer once again my fur babies loved seeing you! I can go visit my grandkids overnight and not worry I have been so blessed to be able to book with you each time and don’t want anyone else!!”

“Karolina dropped by a couple times on 5-6-26 to walk our Brody and play with him while we were away. She is definitely worth 5 stars! We've already booked her for a second sitting. I would highly recommend her!”

“Karlee has checked in on my cat a couple times now. She has excellent communication and follows instructions. I know my little furball is in great hands with her!! Highly recommended.”

“Emily is professional, responsible and is timely on communication. She sat our two cats and even went above and beyond by taking in a package. She was on time, provided pictures as requested and wrote a thoughtful description of the drop by. I recommend her for a quality pet sitting!”
“Patient and fun family, was available with a few days notice. Piper loved her tennis ball y’all brought. I can tell it’s her current favorite as it’s completely falling apart now.”

“Morgan was great and our pups loved her! She was a great communicator and sent us photos while we were gone. Highly recommend her to anyone looking for a sitter.”

“Amber came by to take care of my two kitties and houseplants. She did an excellent job with both. The cats had a new brand of wet cat food in the selection, she noticed that they like the new kind better. I highly recommend Amber for pet sitting, and as a bonus she is great with house plants too.”

“She went above and beyond to help out with not only my animals but my garden too! Her communication was excellent and she was kind and genuine. So grateful I found a great sitter!”

“Wonderful as always! Luna is happy, loved and fed when we get home. If you're reading this, tip on Venmo. Unfortunately there's a tip limit. And Emily provides care, reassurance and constant communication wich to me, is worth more than 20%”

I have a fully fenced yard and a small little 15lb chihuahua mix that is super socialized with all dogs. He is a few years old and is a great playmate! I do own a cat, but she has her own reserved room in the home, she is older and takes blood pressure and seizures medications. She is not in the area where dogs are kept. Drop ins I offer the most safe and comfortable stays in the comfort of the pet's home, and I am sure to spend time with pets as requested!
“Thank you Madeline for loving our cats while we were out. She is prompt, and responsible. We trusted Madeline and would definitely contact her next time we are out of town.”

About: I’ve had all kinds of animals since I can remember, from cats to parrots to duck and chickens. Unfortunately my mom is allergic to dogs but I grew up with them at my grandparents house and all my friends. I work part time and I am on a break from college, but I still have lots of time to spend with your furry friends! Depending on the instructions you leave me with, I’ll give your animals attention and make sure they’re fed and waters and get lots of exercise and keep your house tidy!
“Sydnie did a wonderful job taking care of our 4 year old Golden Retriever for two weeks. I know Golden Retrievers are supposed to be easy however ours can be a little growly, specially with strangers coming to his house. Sydnie was able to overcome this and was playing with him and walking him by the end of the first week. Sydnie was also very punctual, professional and kept in contact with us daily to let us know all was well. I highly recommend Sydnie if you are looking for a pet sitter.”

“Antonina took great care of my cat. For each 30 minute drop in she was always communicative, on time, took great photos, spent time with my cat and my cat seemed to like her. That makes me feel better about leaving the cat home alone. Antonina offers what it think the Rover experience is all about and she will be my go-to person when I need a cat sitter again.”

Frequently asked questions about Rover
As of June 2026, there are 19 sitters on Rover offering Cat Sitting across Cokedale. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
