“Kris was so helpful! All questions I asked were answered promptly and clearly, and while Aniol my nearly two year old dog stayed at Kris's family home, he seemed to have a safe and comfortable experience! I was so grateful for updates in words and pictures! We will certainly bring Aniol to Kris's again.”

“Bershka and Lionel are seriously the absolute best people to watch your furry friends! They love our cat almost as much as we do and we never have to worry when our cat is with them. Another successful visit on the books! Thank you so much for going above and beyond!”

“Leslie provided an excellent boarding experience for our Frenchie, Kahi. My husband and I are always nervous to leave Kahi, but this time we felt more at ease knowing she was in great hands with Leslie. Leslie welcomed Kahi into her home and was knowledgable of what Kahi needed to feel safe and comfortable. She was diligent to provide daily updates and pictures. The pictures showed that Kahi was well-adjusted to Leslie’s home and having a great time playing and bonding with Leslie’s pups. We trusted Kahi was safe with Leslie which allowed us to enjoy our vacation. 10/10 would recommend!”

“Lenore took great care of my dog. Scout and her dog, Rook, seemed to get along and it was great to know that she was staying in a “dog friendly house.” It can be hard to leave your dog behind with a stranger, but I felt confident that she would be well cared for.”

“Bailey had a great time with her new friends. She was kept active and comforted when she was fussy ( new place syndrome 😁) She has a new buddy in Ollie and I couldn't be happier for her care! We'll be back!”

“Most of us have a hard time leaving our dog kiddos behind when we have to leave town. Well - not if you’ve got Kelsey nearby ?. It was obvious from the start that he connected with our Lily and treated her like family. Photos, comments, questions while we were away kept us from missing her too much. And never worried for a moment…We highly recommend Kelsey (& his family when needed). Thank you Kelsey ??”

“Aarika was absolutely amazing!! She was flexible and communicative through our entire last-minute planning process. She sent daily progress updates and photos of our sweet boy smiling and having so much fun (and getting lots of pats, which he loves!!) We will absolutely be booking with Aarika again! :)”

“Amber was great and I know she took wonderful care of our cat and dog. She’s worked with many animals and it’s clear that she gives a lot of structure and care to each animal. We’d love to have her watch our animals again.”

“Trinity did a great job of looking after our senior blind/diabetic dog. Kept us informed on how she was doing. She had no problems with her special feeding schedule and giving her the insulin injection.”

“Elaine is the best! She has watched our pup many times now, she updates us on how things are going and uploads us pictures too! Elaine cares for all the pups she watches. We will definitely be back to her!”

“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We couldn’t have asked for a better dog sitter! Our two dogs were so well cared for, and it was clear they were treated with love and attention the entire time. We appreciated the daily photos and updates. It made being away so much easier. We will absolutely be booking again with Danielle”

“Jennifer is outstanding! Finding her was truly a God send. We recently got a puppy and were worried we wouldn't be able to find a sitter in time before we all returned work. I stumbled across Rover, did a quick search and there she was. Communicating with her was simple and response time was almost instant! She took our little girl in with open arms and have provided her excellent care! Our pup adapted to Jennifer, her animals, and her home with ease. She has helped me with a few late care requests and accommodates my early drop off and late pick up due to work! HIGHLY RECOMMEND! :)”

“Susan is fabulous! We feel very comfortable leaving our dog with her. She's quick to communicate and does a great job caring for specific needs, including slightly anxious little doggies like mine.”

“Virginia was amazing! She was available last minute to take care of our dog. She sent updates and pictures and Blue - our dog got extra attention from her kids. I will definitely be bringing Blue back to her house for more dog sitting.”

“Luna’s first daycare experience was awesome! She slept the entire hour and a half car ride afterward and for a 6 month old puppy in a car?! I know she played hard! She was so loved and cared for :)”

“Laura was communicative and reliable in preparation and during our pup’s care. Felt she went above and beyond to ensure our dog was happy and well cared for, from pickup/drop off offerings to navigating our holiday travel/availability. Would recommend her!”

“Kendra was phenomenal with my our dog! We've used her services on another vacation about a year ago, and our dog definitely remembered! Clear communication with regular updates and photos. 10/10!”

“I feel that this was an amazing alternative to kenneling my old girl!! Erin is kind and gentle. Noot was happy when I picked her up but not frantic like she is when I pick her up from the kennel. Great experience!”

“Tyeler was so great with our cat, Nellie, who warmed right up to her gentle energy. Tyeler sent pictures and a detailed note with every check-in that made us feel confident Nellie was in great hands. We hope to be able to have Tyeler watch Nellie again when we need services from Rover 😊”

“Bershka and Lionel are seriously the absolute best people to watch your furry friends! They love our cat almost as much as we do and we never have to worry when our cat is with them. Another successful visit on the books! Thank you so much for going above and beyond!”

“Karolina is the best cat sitter we have ever had!! This is our second time working with her and we’re so grateful to have found her. She takes extra special care of our two cats and also leaves our home so clean and tidy during her stays. She sends lovely updates. She has even been able to get our shy cat to come out and play some. We also appreciate that we can be hard to reach when out of town but she’s always on top of things. We highly recommend her services. Thank you again, Karolina!”

“This was our first time ever using a pet sitter we didn't know and boy, are we glad we chose Michael! He checked in on our car for over a week and managed to win over our cat, Samwise, which can sometimes be hard to do! Overall, Michael was professional, kind, and gave great updates while we were away. Knowing Michael was watching out for Samwise made it that much easier to be away from home! We would absolutely book again!”

“Antonina was great! She watched my cat for 2 weeks while I was on vacation and was able to make friends with my super shy cat. Took care of everything and took lots of pictures. It made me feel at ease knowing my cat was in good hands. I would highly recommend.”

“Leslie was amazing with my two pups and such a great find for a last minute booking! She was accommodating and great with communication. This was my first time using Rover and I was not sure how my pups would be with a new person as one of them can be anxious. They warmed up to Leslie right away and there were no issues. I appreciated the detailed check ins and pictures at every visit and felt very reassured my dogs were being well taken care of. I will definitely be using Leslie again! Highly recommend!”

About: As a responsible young adult with 3 years pet sitting experience, I offer dependable, compassionate care for both cats and dogs of all ages. I have been a pet owner of both cats and dogs all my life. I love my animals, and love caring for the animals of other families. When I was young, I would dress up my dogs in play clothes and read them stories. With my whole heart, I understand that pets are our family. My family currently has 2 dogs and a cat. Now I care for their needs, including preparing and feeding a specialized raw diet for my two 11-year-old labs. From energetic puppies to senior pets, I tailor my care to meet each animal's needs - whether that means long walks, quiet cuddles, or administering medications with care and precision. I have built trust with families by not only caring for their pets but also respecting their homes. I keep things tidy, follow instructions closely, and make sure everything feels just as you left it. What sets me apart is my reliability, calm demeanor, and genuine love for animals. I am committed to making pets feel safe, loved, and comfortable while you are away. I treat every pet like my own, with patience, warmth, and love. I would welcome the opportunity to care for your pets and home! I am available 7 days per week. My weekend and holiday availability is flexible. On weekdays my school schedule/commitments would take me away from your home for approximately 6-8 hours, depending on day and location of your home. When your dog or cat is in my care, I treat them like one of my own. What is most important to me is that I provide care as close as possible to what your animal is used to receiving from you. Familiar routine helps reduce stress and provide comfort. Below are some principals that I follow in caring for pets and homes of others. Safety First! I follow your pets established routines to minimize stress and maintain consistency. I look for signs of distress, illness, or discomfort and will act quickly if something seems off. I keep homes secure by following all instructions regarding doors, alarms, keys and I never invite guests or leave pets unattended for long periods. Trust: I provide regular updates, photos and messages according to your preference. I respect your home and privacy, leaving everything just as I found it. Comfort: I maintain a calm, clean and nurturing atmosphere. Whether its cuddles on the couch, playtime in the yard, or quiet companionship, I adapt to what makes your pet feel most at ease.
“Thank you Madeline for loving our cats while we were out. She is prompt, and responsible. We trusted Madeline and would definitely contact her next time we are out of town.”

“Wonderful as always! Luna is happy, loved and fed when we get home. If you're reading this, tip on Venmo. Unfortunately there's a tip limit. And Emily provides care, reassurance and constant communication wich to me, is worth more than 20%”

“Rachel was very patient and understanding with my husky and German shepherd husky and was mindful and considerate of their needs. I’m happy we found her for drop-ins and will continue to book her when we need someone we can trust!”

About: Hello! My name is Lauren and I have been taking care of animals on and off since I was a little girl. I have sat for kittens, seniors, cats, dogs and everything in between. I have a bird and three dogs of my own, including a Saint Bernard. I love animals and I am hoping to get to meet some new ones!

“Emily is professional, responsible and is timely on communication. She sat our two cats and even went above and beyond by taking in a package. She was on time, provided pictures as requested and wrote a thoughtful description of the drop by. I recommend her for a quality pet sitting!”
“Katya did a wonderful job taking care of our kitty for 9 days, letting us know when she stopped by every evening, made sure we were on schedule to arrive home when planned, and offered to help with things like putting our recycling out. Most importantly, we came home to a healthy and happy kitty who had obviously gotten some love and attention when we were gone. Thank you Katya!”
About: My pet care experience began when I joined a humane society volunteer program where I worked for 6 years and became a shift lead. Later, I worked at a doggy daycare and overnight pet hotel. There I worked with specific dog’s needs and care as well as managed a group of up to 60 free-roaming dogs (yes, it was as amazing as it sounds) I have worked as a pet sitter and dog walker for most of my life, and I have experience with a variety of breeds, sizes, and temperaments. I have also worked with horses for most of my life and in the summers I care for horses on a large farm. They are pretty much a bunch of big, funny, puppies. I am formally trained in: -Dog first aide and CPR -Dog, cat, and small animal body language and care -Dog Bathing -Basic obedience training I am currently a recent WWU graduate working a part-time job. Being in my gap year after school, most of my time is flexible and social. I’m looking to fill some of my free time working with cute pets! While I do have a good foundation in general pet care, pet safety, and dog behavior, I prioritize the individual needs of the dog. I may have experience with many pets but no one knows your dog better than you. Care, to me, is about open communication and making sure your pup is happy!

“Jennifer did a wonderful job taking care of my little ZuZu. I appreciated that she was able to take care of her last minute. I felt like I was leaving her in good hands and I would definitely have Jennifer take care of my puppy again! ☺️”

About: Training my two aussie shepherd girls is a passion of mine, we herd sheep a couple times a week. I am proud to say I can keep up with them, although raising an aussie puppy is not for the faint of heart! They deserve adventures so I take them to new places with new smells and I would be happy to help your pup experience the world in a new way too! If you're not comfortable with that, they are safe in my home too 💚 Pet care is a full-time job and I treat it as such. Fur babies in my home get enrichment via toys, puzzles, treats and exercise- happy to train your doggo under 90lbs to use our treadmill! We go out to herd a few times a week and get outdoors every day, rain or shine :) My pets are my family. They deserve to be safe, healthy, and comfortable. I understand that it is a deep honor to afford them the freedom and attention they deserve and I dont take the responsibility lightly.
“She took great care of my dog Damian! He came back happy, relaxed, and clearly well cared for. Communication was smooth, and I really appreciated the updates. I’d definitely recommend her to anyone needing a reliable sitter.”

“Katrina is a gem - quick responses, and was very easy going and willing to roll with it when I (embarrassingly) forgot my dog's bag of lunch, toys, etc. the first time I brought him over. I don't think he even missed his things, given how well her place is set up for dogs. The big, fenced back yard is a dream!”

“Holly and her family took such great care of our dog, Dottie. I couldn't be happier with the process - from the first message to the meet & greet to the doggy day care date. Communication was clear and easy, and I felt that safety and care were well prioritized. Having that reassurance that your dog is in good hands is honestly priceless. The fact she had a great time with Archie is the cherry on top. Dottie is already passed out sleeping (on the couch - sorry!) from all the fun she had. Will definitely book again. Also thank you for all the photos during the visit! They were very comforting for this anxious dog mom.”

“Amber is awesome! My baby is so excited to see her and comes home so sleepy. I also absolutely love the cute videos I get throughout the day. She genuinely cares like they’re her own, very appreciative she puts up with my psycho puppy!”

About: My goal is to provide an environment where I would feel good about dropping my pup off at (they are our children after all!). My condo is small but there is no shortage of fuzzy blankets, pets, and walks! Besides my dog, I never host more than one dog in my home at a time. I adopted my dog from the shelter over 10 years ago and makes sure he had plenty of cozy places to sleep, snacks, and walks! I current work from home, so I’m generally around most of the day besides going for a run. I often run in the morning, during lunch, or after work but this can be flexible to suit the needs of the animals! If your dog can run I will happily take them on a run with the me! :) I adopted my sweet Fox (Chihuahua mix) from the Oregon Humane Society over 10 years ago and he has been my best bud always by my side through all of life’s ups and downs and moves across states! He is approximately 12-13 years old, friendly, calm, and loves people. I live in a small condo but very close to walking areas, a lake, and a dog park.
“So much love given to our pup during her daycare stay this last weekend. Thank you Olga and family for taking such good care of our dog for the day! She loved being able to run around in the yard & play fetch. She came home very happy and tired. We would absolutely recommend Olga!”

“I had a fantastic experience with Alex as Rune’s dog sitter. Rune had a great time playing with her dogs, and she has a lovely space that’s perfect for hosting. Alex was extremely responsive, communicative, and took great photos throughout. Overall, I felt very reassured and happy having Rune stay with her.”

“My little guy had a great day at Sara’s. His daily needs were met and he got lots of love and playtime. He came home exhausted and napped the rest of the day away 😊. We will definitely be a repeat customer next time we have a need for daycare. Thank you!”

“Avery went the extra mile by making sure my dog was fed, got her treats, took her for a walk, and sent us several pictures while we were gone. She also gave her special attention while she was doing her work. We will be using her services again. 😊”

About: I have spent most of my life around dogs. As an only child my siblings were two Chesapeake Bay Retrievers. As an adult I have always had at least one dog in the house and more often than not two. They are my babies, my best friends and my companions. I am currently a high school teacher which allows me to have the summer free to spend with my critters as well as yours. I am almost always available at least until August. When spending a day with me and my own fur babies your companion will have access to a backyard. Get at least one good outing/run in and have two medium sized playmates to keep them entertained. I also have the ability to crate your friend if need be.
“Kris was great! Her dogs are super sweet. She has a lot of space for them to run around and play. She took my dog on a walk too! Will definitely come back for more doggy daycare in the near future. Thanks again, Kris!”

“Chelsea is Great! My pup was accepted like she was part of the family, and she loves going to Chelsea's. I always know that she gets lots of attention because she comes home calm, happy, and ready for bed :p .”
“Dee and her daughter were very accommodating. Both very kind women and their love for animals is apparent. Lilly really enjoyed their Jack Russel and came home happy and tired. She wasn't even that excited when we came to pick her up! That's how I know she enjoyed herself.”

“My dog had a wonderful time with Addison! He was friendly and communicative during pickup, drop off, and during care. When I picked up I could tell Puck had a wonderful time and Addison shared fun stories about his day. I'm planning to use him as a regular sitter for my pup!”

About: I grew up with dogs and cats, and have been a pet parent throughout adulthood. I have a deep love and affection for animals, and often look after the pets of family and friends as their trusted caretaker. I call myself a "whisperer" because I feel I've always known how to 'communicate' with domesticated animals and earn their trust. I'm an adjunct instructor at WWU with enough flexibility in my schedule to be available for pet care most of the time. As I considered alternative work for myself, I thought I should consider what I love to do, and pet sitting/dog walking feels like a great fit for me. I currently have a 2 year old female rescue dog who I'm 90% sure is a puggle, and 2 beautiful male cats. Traditionally I've owned boxers, but I love both big and small dogs of all kinds, puppies to seniors, as well as cats and most other pets (perhaps not insects...!). I'm reliable, friendly, patient, and love to walk, so frequent or long dog walks suit me fine. I have a flexible schedule and am available to look after your fur babies day and/or night, including day care, drop ins, boarding and house sitting. I have a pet-friendly home with a fenced yard in a safe neighborhood with parks and trails close by. I'm home much of the time so my pets get a lot of attention and care, are fed on schedule, and I'm up to date on all vaccinations. My home is clean, cozy and safe.
“Elaine has been doing such an awesome job with my boy Maka. She’s watched him twice so far and definitely won’t be my last time working with her. Her family seems very sweet and welcoming, makes me feel more comfortable knowing that my dog will be in great care.”

About: Since I was very young I have loved and cared for our dogs and cats. For the pups, taking them for long walks and spoiling them with toys and cuddles are among my specialties! For my cats, they are the lucky recipients of lots and lots of petting, cat toys and of course their favorite meals. I have an open schedule and can stop in for regular, long dog walks or stay over for overnight pet sitting and for any pet needs in between. I have experience with all ages and all sizes of dogs and cats and like to know all of your pet's favorite things and quirk so I can make my time with them super comfotable and fun. I am far away from home and miss my animals, now Rover gives me that chance to share my love of pets with others! I have time in the mornings and evenings to play, feed, and walk the pups. I never leave a dog for longer than 8 hours but I try to make 6 the max. In my own home it’s important to make sure they have some pieces of their home like toys, a bed, and a space to feel comfortable. In your home, I know it’s their space not mine. I care a lot about respecting others’ space.
“Michael was great! He came over to meet our pup Marley ahead of time, so she would know him when he came to take her out. Great communication and sent pics of her during their walk. Will definitely use his services again!”

I am comfortable around animals and can stand my ground with them. I enjoy large breeds and, having two 150Lbs + dogs before I know how hard it is to find someone to take care of them! I am available for short and long term stays in Whatcom and Skagit counties. Dogs, cats, horses, turtles and fish - all welcomed and loved! I work as a school bus driver, so I leave the house early in the morning for few hours, then have 2-4 hrs off and then drive the kids home in the afternoon, usually 2-6 pm. About: I've been an animal person my entire life. When I was in grad school at Western several years ago, I worked part-time for a local pet-sitting business, The Placid Pet, where I enjoyed four wonderful years of looking after client dogs and cats. Currently, I am a full-time writer seeking healthy activities to supplement the hours I spend in front of a computer. What better way to get that activity than to hang out with awesome dogs and provide my fellow Bellinghamsters with the peace of mind that comes with knowing your furry family member is happy and well taken care of? As a former college athlete and life-long hiker, I'm in good shape for whatever activity your dog needs. I'm available for short or long walks in your neighborhood or at a nearby park or trail of your choosing, and I'm also happy to stop in and snuggle with your anxious pet for as long as he or she needs. I've taken an animal CPR training course in the past and plan a refresher course in the near future. Your dog's health and well-being is of utmost importance to me, and as a former professional dog walker, I have the skills and experience to keep your pet safe and happy during my visits. As a writer, my time is flexible, so I can be available in the mornings, at lunch, or in the early afternoon on a regular basis. I coach soccer on the weekends, but an occasional Sunday visit might be possible as needed. I am experienced entering client homes to render service, and as someone who has lived with escape-artist pets, I am also accustomed to entering homes carefully to make sure even the wiliest of pets doesn't escape. My car has a dog gate in back so that your pet can travel safely, should you choose for me to take them to a park or trail.

Animals have always been in my life and their needs adjust my daily life. I’m currently a university student who is studying computer science. So a lot of my homework/ assignments are done on a computer meaning I’m home for most of the day! I have lots of extra time to interact/ have fun with a pet at home :) Walking: I provide long and stimulating walks with lots of sniffing, playing and exercise. Drop ins: I really enjoy these! I love greeting dogs and providing them with the mental/ physical stimulation they need for the day! ( I have lots of ideas prepared everyone’s different personality/size/activity) Boarding/ sitting: not available right now

“Rachel was a savior. She took wonderful care of my old, lazy dog and encouraged her to go on walks and spend time outside. She gave perfect updates and sent sweet photos. When I got stuck at work and Phyllis started to seem sick, Rachel added on another visit at the last minute. I’d have her back in a heartbeat.”

“Lizz saved the day for us! We had a family emergency come up and had to leave town last minute. Lizz was able to cover all the walks in our absence. She gave us great feedback and won over our shy pup. Highly recommend.”

“Great to meet Katarina and have us meet our pups! Looking forward to having her hang out with the dogs for a night soon! She was so helpful last minute, thoughtful, and asked all the right questions!”

“Sarah is the finest boarding experience we’ve ever had. Our dog wriggled out of my arms and ran up to her front door- how is that for Lola’s endorsement? We get picture and text messages frequently. There is nothing I or Lola would change about Sarah. So grateful for her service and love for our Lola!”

“Kim was awesome!! She took great care of Jasmine and sent me pictures daily & was in constant communication. I could tell Jasmine was having a great time and getting a lot of love.”

“Jory took good care of our pup, and it was clear that Jory is very familiar with and comfortable taking care of dogs. He was very responsive leading up to the stay, and sent us pictures throughout the stay so we knew Roo was having a good time.”

“The best dog sitter I have ever had! Kind, loving and responsible. Michelle kept updates every day a few times including pictures and videos. Great communication with pets owners and very professional.”

About: I've had multiple dogs throughout my life and genuinely love spending time with them. These days, I have a dog of my own plus my partner's two dogs, (we all live here) so our house is always full of happy pups! My experience includes: • Experienced Rover doggy daycare provider • Experienced dog sitter outside of Rover • Raised in a hobby farm in WI • Caring for diabetic dogs that require strict feeding schedules and medication administration • Following detailed care instructions, dietary restrictions, and medication routines with great attention to detail My own dog has taught me a lot about allergies, sensitivities, and special care needs, so I understand how important it is to trust someone who will take your pet's unique requirements seriously. Whether your dog is energetic, shy, senior, or has special needs, I'll make sure they receive attentive, loving care and are treated like part of the family. I work from home and have a large, fully fenced backyard with a high fence for added security. I also have a screened/mosquito-net door that allows me to keep the door open during the day while I work, giving the dogs easy access to fresh air and the yard while remaining safely enclosed. My desk has a full view of the backyard, so I can keep a close eye on everyone throughout the day. Of course, if you prefer that your dog not have access through the open screened door, I'm happy to keep the main door closed and follow whatever routine makes you most comfortable. I know how important peace of mind is when leaving your pet with someone else, and I'll treat your dog with the same care, attention, and affection that I give my own. -I work remotely Monday-Friday from 7-3:30 -I do tend to stay busy out of the house after 5pm for errands or a gym class a few times a week but no day is the same -Typically in the mountains one day out of the weekend I can be decently flexible during the week but I might NOT be the best fit if: -I can’t leave your dog at my house for 1.5 hours after work if I go to the gym or run an errand -If you need care past 8:00pm because that’s typically my bedtime… but I can be flexible. -Your dog doesn’t get along well with others …Otherwise, let’s do this! Other: -I live in the Roosevelt neighborhood in Bellingham -I will definitely send frequent updates and fun photos of your pet child while on pet duty -I am flexible so most things aren't a no but please reach out with questions about availability and I always do my best to respond ASAP House Fully fenced yard front and back 3 dogs live here My partner lives here too and we both are beyond careful with the dogs’ safety. We will love your dog like we love our 3 and yes, the gate is always secured :)

“The best dog minder ever. Our Toby loves playing with Archie and gets excited when I mention going over to stay with him. Holly has become almost family to us. Very reliable, friendly.”

“Great experience! Dolly was quick to respond to our texts and sent pictures while we were away which was so nice. One of our dogs is special needs and Dolly took excellent care of her. Will definitely book with Dolly again!”
