About: I've been taking care of dogs since I was 11. For years, I have been trusted to care for, walk, feed, bathe, and snuggle all sorts of dogs. l work 8-4 weekdays. However, if your pup requires an afternoon visit I will be available! Just let me know what works best for you and I’ll be happy to make it work! About: Training my two aussie shepherd girls is a passion of mine, we herd sheep a couple times a week. I am proud to say I can keep up with them, although raising an aussie puppy is not for the faint of heart! They deserve adventures so I take them to new places with new smells and I would be happy to help your pup experience the world in a new way too! About: I grew up with dogs and have had at least one of my own for the last 20 years. They truly are the best friends! We have a sweet 3-year old rescue poodle mix, Mimi, who does really well with other dogs. We'd love to have your dog or cat stay with us and join in our walks and hikes and cuddles! I have had a reactive/leash reactive dog and as much as I know they can be the sweetest pups when on their own, I can't take on these dogs anymore. It creates too much anxiety for me. I live on a street where there is a constant flow of neighbor dogs both on and off leash and the trails are packed with dogs these days so it's a guarantee we will meet other dogs while we are out and about. I work from home and love to get outside and explore the beautiful trails around Bellingham. When not out sniffing the trails me and your pet will be snuggled up relaxing together. There is a fence area for visiting pets to relieve themselves (it includes about 10 stairs). I love to hike and walk and will make sure your pet gets all the movement they need. I love to snuggle too so when not out and about you can rest assured that your pet is getting lots of love and cuddles.

As a school bus driver, I work 6-10 AM, then have few hours break and go back to my afternoon drive 2-6 PM. To ensure proper care for animals, I like to book clients no further than a 30 min drive from Sedro Woolley. Please take this into consideration when looking at a sitter for your pets! The school year ends June 12th and I am available until mid-July. Afterwards, I am taking time off for my own motorcycle travels (this time to Colorado) and then spend August in Europe :) I have owned cats, large dogs (100 + lbs), and horses over the years, so I'm well-versed in handling a variety of pet needs. I am comfortable around animals and can stand my ground with them. I enjoy large breeds and, having two 150Lbs + dogs before I know how hard it is to find someone to take care of them! I am available for short and long term stays in Whatcom and Skagit counties. Dogs, cats, horses, turtles and fish - all welcomed and loved! I work as a school bus driver, so I leave the house early in the morning for few hours, then have 2-4 hrs off and then drive the kids home in the afternoon, usually 2-6 pm. If this is something that will work for you and your pet family, please reach out! I usually do a greet & meet before to make sure that everyone is comfortable! I will follow the directions you give me, be it giving medication to your pets, putting it in the crate at night or when away and any other rules that you may have.

It started with watching the neighborhood pets when I was younger and continued on well into adulthood. I have tons of experience with dogs and cats and a little with birds. Because of the area I worked primarily with rescue animals, specifically pitbulls. I feel extremely comfortable with emotional special needs pets, ie pets that came from not healthy or loving homes. “Leslie provided an excellent boarding experience for our Frenchie, Kahi. My husband and I are always nervous to leave Kahi, but this time we felt more at ease knowing she was in great hands with Leslie. Leslie welcomed Kahi into her home and was knowledgable of what Kahi needed to feel safe and comfortable. She was diligent to provide daily updates and pictures. The pictures showed that Kahi was well-adjusted to Leslie’s home and having a great time playing and bonding with Leslie’s pups. We trusted Kahi was safe with Leslie which allowed us to enjoy our vacation. 10/10 would recommend!”

“It’s always nerve-wracking to leave your pup with someone you’ve never met, but I wanted to put here that Jessica gave exceptional care to my dog when I couldn’t bring him on one of our hikes. When we dropped him off we were greeted by her dogs, who were very sweet and got along great with mine. Jessica was very communicative and sent me a photo of my dog snuggled on the couch with her kids, and he even slept in their bed (he loves kids). It put me totally at ease. Also, we were out of service for a while and our campground was an hour away, so we planned a pickup spot ahead of time. Jessica drove my dog to meet us so we didn’t have to travel so far from our campsite. Highly recommend, and if we’re out here in the future I would definitely use her again! Thank you!”
