About: My pet care experience began when I joined a humane society volunteer program where I worked for 6 years and became a shift lead. Later, I worked at a doggy daycare and overnight pet hotel. About: I grew up on a small organic farm, where we raised everything from sheep and goats to rabbits and quail. We also had 5 cats and a dog, so caring for animals was a part of my everyday life from a young age. About: I still have few spots available in May, June and part of July, so book your pet sitting now! Sedro-Woolley, Bellingham and Mount Vernon! As a school bus driver, I work 6-10 AM, then have few hours break and go back to my afternoon drive 2-6 PM. To ensure proper care for animals, I like to book clients no further than a 30 min drive from Sedro Woolley. Please take this into consideration when looking at a sitter for your pets! The school year ends June 12th and I am available until mid-July. Afterwards, I am taking time off for my own motorcycle travels (this time to Colorado) and then spend August in Europe :) I have owned cats, large dogs (100 + lbs), and horses over the years, so I'm well-versed in handling a variety of pet needs. I am comfortable around animals and can stand my ground with them. I enjoy large breeds and, having two 150Lbs + dogs before I know how hard it is to find someone to take care of them! I am available for short and long term stays in Whatcom and Skagit counties. Dogs, cats, horses, turtles and fish - all welcomed and loved! I work as a school bus driver, so I leave the house early in the morning for few hours, then have 2-4 hrs off and then drive the kids home in the afternoon, usually 2-6 pm. If this is something that will work for you and your pet family, please reach out! I usually do a greet & meet before to make sure that everyone is comfortable! I will follow the directions you give me, be it giving medication to your pets, putting it in the crate at night or when away and any other rules that you may have.

“Our dog had a great time during her 5-day stay with Erin & her family. Erin took her on daily outings - either to the dog park or on hikes. Those activities - & being able to play with Erin’s dogs kept her busy & also kept her usual anxiousness to a minimum. Erin sent photos & videos each day so we always knew what they’d been up to. I would not hesitate to recommend Erin & we’ll have our dog stay with Erin again!”

“Wow! This was my first Rover.com experience and it couldn't have gone any better! Virginia and family treated my elderly pup, Kipper, like one of their own. He came back worn out, needing a nap and lolling his tongue, as if he'd just returned from a highly satisfying trip to Disneyland. I strongly recommend Virginia for your boarding needs. She paid attention when we explained Kipper's idiosyncrasies, was flexible on pickup and drop-off timing, and obviously played Dog Mom as well as Kipper's own could!”
About: I grew up on a small organic farm, where we raised everything from sheep and goats to rabbits and quail. We also had 5 cats and a dog, so caring for animals was a part of my everyday life from a young age. That experience has given me the confidence to care for pets with different personalities and needs. As I got older, my love for animals stayed with me. Whether your pet loves long walks, play time or wants someone to keep them company i’ll make sure they feel safe and well cared for. I recently graduated college at WWU and I am currently working part time, so I can easily fit around your schedule and have plenty of time to spend with your pets! I work Tuesday and Thursday and I am off in the afternoon. I live close to a few parks that are dog friendly and make a great walk. Inside, pets are free to roam throughout the house.

We’ve tried kennels before and our pup came back stressed and underweight — but with Jael, it was the complete opposite. Stella ate well, played, and looked so content when we picked her up.
