About: I've been dog sitting and cat sitting from a young age, I have taken care of family pets, pets of friends, and all those in between. I've never lived without pets. I have always had a genuine love and compassion for animals, and have unconditional love for them. I graduated from the NCTA Veterinary Technician program in Junior year of High School. Currently unemployed. Even when busy, I always have time to stop by and take care of pets. I am usually available for long periods of time. I will respect your pet's personal space if they are more of an anxious pet, I had a very anxious pup growing up so I know what it is like. I will give your pet lots of love and company, and follow whatever schedule you use to feed them or administer medication. I am happy to do extra for any pet.
About: I have helped raised my family’s dogs and cats for years. I have helped raised puppies and kittens as well as old pets. I also know how to bathe both dogs and cats. I can also give pets any type of medicine if they need it. I am free from 8:30 am to 9:30 pm. I am freshly graduated from high school and have plenty of time to spare. About: Growing up on a farm, I was around pets my whole life. I currently have a golden retriever who is 6 years old and very spoiled. We spend most of our time going on lots of walks and hiking! I would treat your pet with lots of pets and love! I work full time as a nurse, but having a few days off in the week, I thought it would be fun to walk ir board your pet. About: I have had pets my whole life! My person experience includes: nursing my yellow lab back to health after a car accident, caring for and raising 9 puppies, giving medication to pups when they reach their later years, and living with a loving my roommates cat! I enjoy walks and hikes as much as I enjoy staying in and cuddling with more chill animals! Only sitters who have never booked with you before can schedule a Meet & Greet on Rover; however, you are welcome to coordinate one in Rover messages with sitters you have previously booked. This can be helpful if you have a new pet or routine you want to go over with your sitter.
Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Meet & Greets are a great way to prepare your pet and sitter for longer stays or first-time bookings. Read our tips for your first Meet & Greet.
sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
