About: I have always grown up taking care of dogs, my own as well as friends, family members and neighbors. I was responsible growing up for feeding, cleaning, and exercising my dogs (black lab, 2 English bulldogs, and a wonderful golden doodle) and loved every second of it. I would often dog sit for friends and neighbors who were out of town and would make sure their pets were healthy, well exercised and behaving. I am a dog lover down to my core and enjoy every second I spend with them. On top of my experience taking care of grown up dogs, I am equipped to care for newborn pups and puppies less than a year. I was responsible for taking care of a liter of golden doodles for my sister last summer and had the best summer of my life! I currently work as a Care Coordinator M-F but my schedule is very flexible. Sometimes I am off by 2 and sometimes I don’t start until 11am! I am able to check in or go for a quick walk on my lunch breaks during the week and have full availability on the weekends. I am saving up to travel Australia next September and am looking for a rewarding and enjoyable side hustle. Pets are not allowed unfortunately in my apartment but I will always ensure that when pet sitting in your home, that the dogs safety is prioritized. I will follow directions exactly as you provide and make sure that your dog is well taken care of as well as your home. For dog walking, I always keep dogs on a leash unless specified (ex: you allow your dog at an off leash dog park or walks) and am always on the lookout for signs of danger either from other dogs or humans. I try to keep contact with other strangers (both human and not) to a minimum and focus on creating a strong bond between the dog and I, and providing the best and most fun exercise possible! Some of my favorite spots include Padden lake, fragrance lake, Larrabee park, and miscellaneous walks/trails in Bellingham.

About: I have experience in vet med, so I will be able to keep a detail-oriented eye on your pet's health and wellbeing. If it comes to it, I can take your beloved companion to the vet clinic while you're out of town and see to any at-home care they need, no problem. I currently make my income entirely through app-based freelance work, making it easy to interweave schedules. I can check in on your pet, go out and work for 2-3 hours, then come back again. ADHD tendencies serve me well in this situation-- I can focus on a show, a book, or working on my laptop, while still being peripherally aware of what your pet is doing, and taking time to check in and give lots of scritches and belly-rubs. I live in a shared housing situation, so I have plenty of experience leaving an environment that is not my own exactly as I found it.

About: I’ve lived with animals of all shapes and sizes my entire life. I currently care for my energetic Lab, Donzo, and two orange cats, Cheeto and Skeeter. I have experience with senior pets, puppies, kittens, and pets with anxiety, reactivity, and medical needs. I can confidently administer medicine and provide calm, reassuring care to help every animal feel safe and comfortable. My approach is patient and confident, and I take time to understand what makes each pet unique. I’ve learned a lot from caring for my own anxious dog, and I bring that same understanding and dedication to every pet I meet. I do Rover full-time, so my schedule is completely open and extremely flexible. I’m available seven days a week, including holidays, and happy to help with short notice requests or odd hours. Whether you need early mornings, late nights, or last minute visits, I’ll make it work. I’m familiar with Whatcom, Skagit, and surrounding counties and can travel for destination walks or pet sitting as needed. Pet care fits naturally into my daily life, and I enjoy having the freedom to be available anywhere, anytime. Safety and comfort always come first. I focus on creating a calm and loving environment so pets can relax and feel secure while you’re away. I’m confident handling larger dogs and high energy breeds, and I take time to build trust with shy or nervous pets. I usually schedule a meet and greet with you and your pet beforehand to make sure everyone feels comfortable. I can also transport pets safely in my vehicle to nearby parks, trails, or appointments, and I’m happy to stay overnight or do periodic check ins depending on what works best for you.

About: My pet care experience began when I joined a humane society volunteer program where I worked for 6 years and became a shift lead. Later, I worked at a doggy daycare and overnight pet hotel. There I worked with specific dog’s needs and care as well as managed a group of up to 60 free-roaming dogs (yes, it was as amazing as it sounds) I have worked as a pet sitter and dog walker for most of my life, and I have experience with a variety of breeds, sizes, and temperaments. I have also worked with horses for most of my life and in the summers I care for horses on a large farm. They are pretty much a bunch of big, funny, puppies. I am formally trained in: -Dog first aide and CPR -Dog, cat, and small animal body language and care -Dog Bathing -Basic obedience training I am currently a student working a part-time job. Being in my last year at school, most of my work is independent and done from home. I’m looking to fill some of that free time working with some cute pets! While I do have a good foundation in general pet care, pet safety, and dog behavior, I prioritize the individual needs of the dog. I may have experience with many pets but no one knows your dog better than you. Care, to me, is about open communication and making sure your pup is happy!

About: Over the past few years I’ve sat for two different houses. One with two big dogs, and one with a puppy, an elderly dog, and two cats! I’m very flexible and good at following directions. I’m a caring person with a big heart that has plenty of room for your pet in it! I’m currently a full time student, but it is summer so I am completely flexible! I’m always willing to work with any type of schedule to make sure your needs are met. I will provide your pet with all of the attention they may require. Your pet’s safety, happiness, and comfort is my number one priority. Anything that I can do to make sure your pet is in the best of hands I will do!

About: I have been in a pet household since I was born and have loved them basically ever since. For around 10 years I have been responsible for pet care at home such as walking, feeding, playing, and cleaning up after them. For around 3 years I have been hired by mainly friends and family to pet/housesit their pets. I have hired experience with basic care and needs of cats and dogs, puppies under the age of 1, medication administration including giving cats shots for diabetes and pain management, and specific diets. I also have personal experience with senior dogs and cats as well as high energy dogs and feisty cats. I currently work part time two days a week so I will have the rest of the week free to care for your pets. I am available for overnight stays as well as stop in checks and walks. I will love your pets like they are my own. I’m an active person so I will happily take your pets on nice walks and play with them as much as they want. I am also just as happy to just cuddle with any pets that may not be very active or just love to cuddle. And if your pet has a gross mishap that needs cleaning, no worries, I have plenty of experience in the matter.
