I recently booked Darlee to care for my newly diagnosed diabetic cat, and we couldn't be happier with her service. She showed genuine care and took the time to understand my cat's specific needs, including monitoring her insulin levels and diet. Her patience and experience with pets, especially those with medical conditions, were evident. Darlee provided regular updates, ensuring I was informed about my cat's well-being. Both me and my husband highly recommend her to anyone in need of a compassionate and knowledgeable pet sitter. Thank you, Darlee for your outstanding care!

About: I grew up with a Morkie named Lewis. As an only child, he was the closest thing I’ve had to a sibling. For 15 years we were very best friends. I learned how to be a responsible pet owner from a young age. By the time I was 12, I was responsible for making sure Lewis was walked, fed, and cared for after school. I miss caring for my dog and can’t wait to care for others soon! I am about to finish university for the summer and will have lots of spare time on my hands. I work a part time job in the evenings about 4-5 times a week. My shifts between Monday and Thursday typically start at 3:30 and end by 8:00. From Friday to Sunday, my shifts start around 2:30 and generally end around 10:00. I am very careful with dogs. Safety is my top priority as I genuinely care for all animals. I would always supervise my dog in the backyard, and a leash was always worn on walks. All dogs have different dietary needs, so I find it very important to keep all foods out of reach.

About: I have a deep love for animals and for treating them with love and respect. I am patient, kind, and fun. Growing up, we had many kittens and puppies that we raised and nurtured to be fine adult cats and dogs. I’m currently transitioning from a high pressure corporate career to a more relaxed and peaceful phase and have lots of time available for pet sitting, walking and checking in. I’m available most days and evenings, including weekends. I can care for pets in their homes, I am conscientious of what pet parents require. I appreciate clear communication. I’m also happy to care for elderly pets or those who require special attention.

About: I grew up around all kinds of animals, dogs more specifically. My family was a take in and care kind, from helping out friends and family’s pets. I took care of many size dogs and even quite a few were my own dogs. I recently moved to BC and wanted to start out with a nice small job, also something I know and love to do take care of dogs! I can fit a visit or a walk into my schedule pretty easily. I currently cannot have dogs in my home, however I’m more than willing to stop by for visits in you home take your dog out to relieve themselves or let out some energy with a nice walk around your neighborhood.

About: Hi! I’m a solo pet sitter in my 40s with a flexible and sometimes unpredictable work schedule, but one thing that never changes is how much love and care your pets will receive while they’re with me. I’m a university graduate currently working in the casual pool with the Mission Public School District, which means some days I may get called in to work, while other days I’m home spending all day with your pets. No matter what my workday looks like, your pets will always be well cared for. Walks, meals, cuddles, playtime, and quality attention are always a priority before and after any shifts. Because of my current living situation, I’m not able to have pets of my own right now, which is part of why pet sitting has become so special to me. I absolutely love getting to spend time with animals, and I’m lucky to have built amazing relationships with many repeat clients and their pets. Some even trust me enough to keep a key to their home so I can take their dogs out on adventures, even when I’m not actively sitting for them — including one local RCMP family, which is something I truly appreciate and never take for granted. When staying in your home, I come fully prepared with all of my own essentials, including bedding, towels, food, toiletries, laundry supplies, and anything else I may need during my stay. I’m proud to offer a safe, welcoming, and judgment-free space for everyone, including all members of the 2SLGBTQIA+ community. 🏳️‍🌈💞 I have recently graduated university and been hiring in the Mission Public School District into their casual pool. I could be out of the house to shifts anywhere from 7:30am to 4pm. The amount of time I’m out of the house will depend on your location in reaction to the district. Additional fees may be added depending on your distance outside of Maple Ridge. I care for pets in a client’s home by maintaining their normal routines as closely as possible, helping them feel safe, comfortable, and relaxed while their owners are away. This includes feeding, walks, playtime, medication if needed, lots of affection, and making sure they have companionship and attention throughout the day. I treat every client’s home with respect and come fully prepared with my own personal belongings and supplies for my stay. I pride myself on being reliable, communicative, and attentive to both pets and their unique needs. My goal is always to make your time away as stress-free as possible for both you and your pets.

About: From a young age I have always had a love for animals. At age 11 I got my first puppy, a Great Dane named Lucy. Lucy ended up having severe reactivity towards other dogs. Through her I quickly realized I had a passion and natural talent for dog training and soon decided to pursue a career in the training field. I have dabbled in many sports such as flyball, agility, rally, nosework, disc, and even some lure coursing! I rescued a dog of my very own in 2014, a very anxious, high energy, one year old Chesapeake Bay Retriever, Charles. I didn't give up on Charlie, and through training, lots of structure in his daily outings, and patience, Charlie is still my beloved companion years later. I learnt so much through Charlie, and I believe strongly that the best way to have a healthy, happy dog is through a balance of exercise, enrichment, training, and a positive bond with their owner, and hope to help people enjoy each and everyday with their canine friends! I specifically love specifically to work with German Shepherd and Shepherd mixes, as a “Shepherd Person” myself and have lots of experience with large, strong, and reactive dogs. My Resume Includes: -NESDECA Certified Detection Dog Team/Handler -12+ Years of dog training and walking experience -Certified Professional Dog Trainer (CPDT, PCTIA Certified, Good Dog Academy) -Graduate of Holly and Hugo Academy's Animal Psychology, Pet Adoption, Pet Nutrition, Animal Training and Pet Sitting, and Dog Grooming courses -Taken Dr Ian Dunbar's Crucial Concepts in Dog behaviour and Training (Over 10 hours of lecture) -Senior Trainer at SpiritDog Training I currently work as a trainer. Previously I used to do dog walking but stopped over the pandemic. I’ve missed it and would like to take on a small group of clients to get back into walking and walk & trains! I treat all pets as if they were my own and pride myself that my clients dogs will receive all the same effort and care as my own dogs do, and the level of care I would expect my dogs to receive in the care of others.

Morgan quickly developed an amazing rappport with Jackson. Jackson is quite slow in feeling comfortable with new people and very stand-offish. He warmed up to Morgan so nicely. He appeared in many videos and pictures which kept me at peace being away from my boy. Morgan followed all the household directions; mail, watering plants, recycling, etc. Morgan was communicative and available throughout the booking. I recommend Morgan to other "pet parents".

About: I’ve been caring for pets for as long as I can remember. I started out helping look after my neighbors’ cats and dogs when I was a kid, and over the years it naturally grew into something I truly love doing. Now, I’m the go-to person for my coworkers’ dogs at work, and I always treat every pet like they’re my own. Whether it’s snuggles, playtime, or keeping their routine just right, I’m all about making sure your fur baby feels safe, calm, and loved while you’re away. 🐾💛 Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine. I work full-time, but my hours are flexible, which means I’m available for morning and evening visits during the week. On weekends, I can be much more flexible with timing as long as I have a bit of notice. I make sure each visit gets calm, focused attention so your pet always feels cared for and supported. I provide pet care directly in your home so your pet can stay in their own comfortable, familiar environment. For pet sitting, I follow your routine as closely as possible—feeding, fresh water, litter or potty breaks, playtime, and any special instructions you have. I make sure your pet gets attention, reassurance, and a calm presence while you’re away. For dog walking, I focus on safe, enjoyable walks that match your dog’s energy level and needs. I always keep communication open so you know how your pet is doing after each visit.

About: Use my link to get $20 off your first booking with rover! https://www.rover.com/sit/savanl64780 I’ve had dogs in my life from a young age and truly can’t imagine a home without them. Growing up with both a small teacup dog and later a Malamute/Siberian Husky mix gave me experience with very different sizes, personalities, and energy levels. I now have my own 10-month-old Australian Shepherd, and raising him has been such a meaningful experience. I’ve been consistently training with him since he was three months old, focusing on structure, patience, and building a strong bond. That experience has strengthened my understanding of how important routine and clear communication are for dogs to feel secure. In addition, I foster puppies through a rescue organization. Each puppy is different in age, breed, and temperament, and I genuinely enjoy helping them settle in, build confidence, and feel safe in a new environment. It’s important to me that every dog in my care feels comfortable, understood, and truly looked after. Dogs are just part of my normal day. I bring my own pup to work with me, so caring for dogs and planning around walks is something I already do. I’m available most Tuesdays, weekends, and after 5:30pm on weekdays. I’m naturally attentive when it comes to dogs, and it really matters to me that they feel safe, comfortable, and understood while they’re with me. I try to keep things calm and steady so they can settle in easily and feel secure. You can expect clear communication and regular updates, because I know how much peace of mind matters when you’re away from your dog. I want you to feel confident knowing they’re being genuinely cared for. On walks, I pay attention to their pace, energy, and comfort level so the experience feels positive and not rushed. I live on a fully fenced 10-acre property with plenty of safe space to explore and play, which is especially great for dogs who enjoy being outdoors. I also have my dog, Walter, who is very friendly and loves making new friends if your dog is comfortable with that. If I’m entering your home, I’m always respectful of your space and your routine. I understand the trust that comes with caring for someone’s dog, and I take that seriously.

About: I’ve been pet/house sitting for 2 years. My experience is mainly with dogs and cats. Although I have never had an animal of my own, I think it’s very important to create a bond between myself and the animals. My previous experience includes feeding, exercise, administering medication (oral and ear), playtime, and cleanup after accidents or spills. I just moved to the area from out of province so I’m still getting my bearings. As of right now, my schedule is clear for pet care every day except Sundays. I believe that if a pet is being cared for in their own space, it makes it easier to provide what they need. I have experience with house sitting in general, along with pet sitting. I will defer to the owners and follow their directions, especially when it comes to the state of their home and the trust they place in me to care for their pets.

About: I have two dogs of my own, so I know how important it is to make pets feel safe, loved, and comfortable. I’m patient with shy or cautious dogs and always treat every pet like part of the family. I’m not currently working, which means I have a very flexible schedule and can give your pets plenty of time and attention. I’m available throughout the week and weekends for walks and drop-ins, I’ll always make sure your pets stick to their usual routine and feel happy and cared for while you’re away. I always make sure pets are safe and comfortable. I follow their routine closely, keep a close eye on them during walks or playtime, and never leave them unattended.

Mya was absolutely amazing with our anti-social chihuahua + our own anxious selves (this was our first time hiring a petsitter). She was so compassionate and patient with our doggy and worked to earn his trust, which is incredible because he does NOT like many people. She did an amazing job communicating with us while we were away (sending pictures and wee stories), and just overall, this was a 10/10 experience for us. We are so grateful we found her and would hire her again in a heartbeat!
