About: I’ve loved animals for as long as I can remember, and I’ve spent more than 35 years caring for pets of all sizes. Over the years I’ve supported elderly cats, pets with medical needs like diabetes (insulin injections), reactive dogs, and muscle breeds who just need a calm, confident presence. My own dog, Aero, and I have been on a reactivity journey together, and with patience, consistency, and guidance from a professional trainer, she’s made incredible progress. We’re part of a training community that meets every weekend for recall practice, reactivity work, and foundational skills. Everything I learn with Aero helps me support the animals I care for. I’m about to complete my pet first aid certification, and I’m confident that the experience and skills I’ve built over the decades will help your pets feel safe, understood, and truly cared for. Your animals will be treated like my own, with patience, love, and respect. I currently work part-time, which means I have plenty of flexible time to offer fun, rain-or-shine dog walks and drop-ins on most weekday afternoons and some mornings. My priority is making your pet feel safe, understood, and comfortable in their own space. I will follow your requested routine closely (i.e., feeding, walks, medications, training cues, and comfort rituals), so your pet experiences consistency and calm. With 35+ years of caring for animals of all sizes and temperaments, I take a patient, gentle approach. I’m experienced with seniors, pets with medical needs (including giving insulin injections), reactive dogs, and strong breeds, so I adjust my handling to what each animal needs to feel secure. If your pet enjoys training sessions, I’m happy to reinforce recall, foundations, and reactivity work using positive methods I’ve learned through working with my own dog, Aero, and our training community. I provide affection, enrichment, and quiet companionship, always reading your pet's body language and moving at their pace. You can expect regular updates, photos, and honest communication, so that you can feel as comfortable as your pet does.
About: I used to have two boston terriers for 15+ years. When they passed away from old age it was really hard for me. They were healthy and just all around perfect dogs for me. I can’t describe with words how much I miss them. I’m not sure if I’ll ever be emotionally ready to own and lose my own dogs again. Right now I’m content with occasionally taking care of your dogs. Your dog/dogs can expect to be spoiled rotten with lots of affection, attentive care & mental stimulation. Any special needs can be catered to if informed ahead of time. All dogs must be house trained(except for puppies) and non aggressive towards other dogs and humans. Please bring all food, bed, toys etc to ensure your dog is not overwhelmed with too much change. I work from home full time typically from Monday to Friday 9-5. I have flexible schedule to take the dogs out for walks. It’s always nice to take a break from work. My place is usually very tidy and air conditioned. I make sure there aren’t any objects they can chew or swallow. Your dog will get one on one attention in a kid and other animal free environment.
“Alexandria was amazing with the dogs! Got an update as to how they were on the walk, our 3 legged baby had to be carried back because he was too pooped and she still stayed and played with our younger one since he was still full of energy! Also received a bunch of pictures .. When I got home both dogs were so happy but still so tired that they weren’t crazy wild as soon as I walked in the door which was so great! Can tell they really loved her and enjoyed the company and will definitely be using her again and again!”

“We were so happy to work with Taylor and get some help with walking our 10-year-old Mexican street rescue, Antonio. She was an instant favourite of Antonio's and he was excited to go with her for each outing and sad to see her go when it was over. Taylor was a great communicator providing updates on the day to confirm arrival/pick-up and also flexible to our needs when needs changed. We look forward to working again with Taylor once Antonio's knee is healed up.”

About: Hi there, we are Brenna and Alex and we are a small family of animal lovers ❤️ We live in beautiful Port Coquitlam with our toddler, our friendly small fox terrier mix named Hunter, and our little girl cat Murphy, and we have several years of experience with animals and pet care. I (Brenna) started pet care on Rover in 2017, a couple years after I began dogsitting for friends & family, and fell in love! I then began to share my love for pet care with Alex and we’ve been doing it together ever since. Since our daughter has come along, we’re sharing our love of animals with her and watching her interact with them herself. She calls dogs “bubbas”, cats “meows”, and is absolutely obsessed with any pet we have come into our home, treating them with as much love, curiosity, respect, and calm gentleness as she does our own two furbabies. We are very thrilled to offer pet boarding, walking and drop-in services to local families with fairly open and flexible availability. Brenna works hybrid remote, Alex works fully remote, and we spend much of our days out on the beautiful nearby trails or enjoying the sunshine in our fenced backyard. If you just need a break and someone to take your pup for a walk/run/outdoor adventure for an hour or two, or are away/working late and need pet boarding services or drop-in visits for your pets, we are happy to chat. If your fur baby is friendly with other dogs, they can enjoy the added bonus of some socialization with our very friendly and healthy pup. We love exploring the TriCities area and all the different spots it has to offer for dogs, including trails, parks, rivers, and an off-leash dog park just minutes from our door, so you can be sure your pup will be well cared for and probably tuckered out from their adventure! We would be happy to provide glowing references at your request, or feel free to explore some pawsitive reviews from a few of the many local pawrents we’ve serviced in our time on Rover. We have experience with pets with separation anxiety, dietary restrictions, medical issues (administering medication during home visits), and more, so you can feel at ease knowing that your pet is loved and adequately & professionally cared for by experienced caregivers. We can't wait to meet you and your sweet furry family member(s)! My work is hybrid remote, which means we are quite flexible for day care, with all day availability Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, weekends and holidays. My husband works from home every day so is available for pet care and walks when I am not (Tues/Thu). Walks and outdoor play time fit into our daily schedule with ease, and with built-in socialization with our sweet fox terrier Hunter. Cat check-ins are flexible for anytime after 4pm Tues/Wed/Thu, and all day Monday, Friday, and weekends! To put it simply, my family treats your pet like our own. We always make sure to ask pet parents how they choose to do things at home so that the care we are providing to your pet helps them to feel as comfortable and at ease as possible, in their own space for drop-ins/walks, and offering loads of love at our own home. We are happy to help keep up your basic training commands with your pup or take them to their favourite spots if this is something that helps you or your pup to feel more comfortable. We also allow animals the freedom to snuggle on furniture as they wish, so if this is something that’s important in your home, rest assured your pet can comfortably make themselves at home with us!
About: I’ve owned and trained dogs since I was in my teens. I can keep up with high energy puppies or breeds like aussies and border collies, but am also good for snuggling with seniors or ailing pups too. I am capable of basic training and teaching some tricks. I love going to the dog park and working on catching frisbees or chasing balls forever. I am fully free for booking, with a preference to regular walks over the summer. I am usually a contract employee and expect work to start picking up again around September. While I have a rambunctious border collie mix named Zeus, your pup will be walked solo to have my full attention and will never be off leash unless in a securely fenced area or they have proven bombproof recall. I will stick to your schedule as dictated for home visits and am glad to just provide snuggle/human companion time for your pet to not feel as lonely while you’re gone.
About: Hi there, my name is Eichael and I have over 12 years of pet care experience starting as a dog walker and pet sitter and have now spent the past 8 years in professional animal care as a Registered Veterinary Technician. I am Fear Free Certified and Recover CPR certified, and have experience with pets of all size, including rodents, birds and select reptiles. I am experienced with senior dogs and pets with medical conditions such as (but not limited to) diabetes and cardiac disease. We are an active household, enjoying hikes and time outside, although we enjoy time spent lounging around and hanging out with my two senior dogs and cat! Due to my multi-pet home, your dog must get along with other animal companions please! We are a no war-zone household 😁 I have been offering boarding services for all types of dogs over the last several have been loving every minute of it. Unfortunately at this time I am unable to board large breed dogs, but may make exceptions (pls message me!). Because I already have 2 dogs, I limit boarding to 1 dog at a time, however may make an exception for dogs from the same family. During your pup’s stay, they can expect attentive care, hikes and trail walks, great house companions, and to feel loved and cared for as if they were our own. Feel free to contact me regarding any questions/inquiries and I will do my best to get back to you at my earliest convenience. Looking forward to meeting you and your pets! 🐾 Typically working Wed, Thurs, Friday in-clinic at an animal hospital 5 minutes away from home. Pet is welcome to come with me although partner will be home by midday so he/she will only be alone for a few hours at a time. DogWalks available morning and evening Sat-tues and evenings everyday. Your pet(s) will be treated like family in our household. Our own pets are cuddled into bed with us or on the couch watching tv (please inform me if you would not like your pet(s) to be on furniture).
About: I was a dog-mom for 8 years before losing my boy to cancer in June 2024. Believe me when I say, I love dogs more than I can put into words. They are a constant reminder of what is good and beautiful about this world and I truly do love them all like they are my own. I am exceptionally knowledgeable and skilled at caring for senior dogs with high medical, emotional and physical health needs as well as anxious dogs. While my dog was with me, he was under the care of a Naturopath, a GP vet, an Internal Medicine Specialist and a Cardiologist, and he attended biweekly Hydrotherapy sessions in early 2024. He also ate homecooked meals, under advisement from his Naturopath, before transitioning to speciality food. I am available to help in Coquitlam , Port Coquitlam and Port Moody so, drop me a line -- I can't wait to meet you and your fur-baby :) I work from home 3 days a week so, I can make time to walk your dog (within Coquitlam, Port Coquitlam and Port Moody) or, if you'd like, I would look after your dog in my home office while I work. I would look after your dog in my home office while I work. I have a small fenced yard for doggie potty breaks. With regard to doggie daycare, I'm looking to work with just one family at this time so that I can provide care for your fur baby with undivided and uninterrupted attention.

Tatyanna is a wonderful Dog Specialist. I would even say that this is the best sitter that Bruno(my furry baby) and I have ever had! She took preparation so seriously, and visited our place a few times to get to know Bruno and his behaviour pattern/habits better. Tatyana was sending me pictures and videos daily when she was at our place and reporting how Bruno felt and how everything was going. She even watered my plants, which was just amazing! :) In a nutshell, I would definitely recommend Tatyana if you need a warm, kind, responsible and experienced specialist to look after or train your dog :)

We hired Vivian to walk our dog, Hazel, for 3 weeks while we were away. Vivian was absolutely wonderful with Hazel. She is a very kind, compassionate person and truly cares about dogs. Hazel looked forward to her walks each day and enjoyed all the new places that Vivian took her to explore. I would not hesitate to book Vivian again for walks or boarding while we are away. I would highly recommend her! Thank you, Vivian.

Stephanie was great! I have a big dog full of beans and she seemed to have no issue handling him. Stephanie was very flexible with schedule changes, she was always on time, kept in communication and kept me updated. If I hadn’t moved, I would keep Stephanie as my dog walker! She really helped keep my boy tired and happy! I would recommend her to anyone!

Victoria has been working with our puppy for several months now and has been such an awesome help. Our boy adores her and can't wait for his walks with her. She is patient, kind, and helps keep his training consistent. She has also been very accommodating and helped us find other dog walkers on days she was unavailable, and is always reliable and easy to communicate with!

What a relief to be able to trust someone so completely to come to our house each day we were on vacation, to take our dogs for a walk! Nathan made sure our dogs were well exercised and safe in our absence and we’re delighted to know we can count on him in future too!

London was wonderful with Simba! He was reliable, communicative, and clearly cared a lot about him. Simba was happy and well taken care of, and I really appreciated the updates. I would definitely book with London again and highly recommend him to anyone looking for a trustworthy dog walker!

Our dog has been out for a couple of walks with Alex so far and comes back very happy and tired - he clearly has a lot of fun. Alex is also a pleasure to deal with: she communicates well and is very friendly and punctual. We'll be booking many more walks. Definitely recommend!
