“A couple familiar with dogs. They were able to handle my 1.5 yr old, playful high energy staffy, especially being his first time away (and first time with rover app) My wife thinks our dog came back a little bit more behaved/disciplined. "He's a different dog" she says. Haha. Overall, they were great. I really appreciated their photo updates. AND they didn't message me while I was away for any issues (pleasantly surprising TBH considering how my staffy could be a handful at times).”

“This was my first boarding with Rover and I was worried, I’ve never left Eika overnight anywhere before. But my fears were unfounded, Daniel and Layla were amazing with Eika. I was constantly updated with photos and videos of what Eika was up to which was very reassuring. Any questions were promptly answered. Eika was even playing with the other pups they were taking care of I have another conference coming up and I’ve sent off a request to book with them again :)”

“I cannot say enough good things about Jen&Steve!! They took our 15 month old yellow lab, Lenny in to their home for nine nights while we were on vacation and treated them just like their own boy, Red. We received updates every day with photos that eased our minds as it was the first time using Rover and first time leaving our pup. Lenny had so so much fun playing and snuggling with Red and going on lots of adventures. We couldn't have found anyone better to take care of our pup while we were gone. We would 100000% rebook with them when we need care for Lenny again. We picked him up today and he's already missing his new buddy. If you're looking for anyone to care for your dog book with Jen and Steve! You and your pupper will not regret it!”

“Margarita & family looked after Kona for 3 nights & 4 days. They are very competent & kind. It was a bonus for Kona to have kids to play with. Margarita answered questions & sent regular feedback with pictures so I was reassured Kona was in good hands. Thank-you!!”

About: Hi, I’m Robin! Lover of all animals and will treat your dog like a member of our family! I had cats and fish growing up and then moved on to dogs! I have 10 years of hands‑on experience raising my Boston Terrier from birth and caring for her through every stage of life, including her final battle with cancer. She taught me to be patient, playful, attentive, and deeply affectionate with every dog I meet. I’ve had the pleasure of taking care of my friends and family’s dogs, and know how hard it can be to be away from your little fur babies but also at the same time be able to enjoy some alone time. As a homemaker, I’m home all day, and ready to step in and be a welcoming, affectionate and safe provider when you’re away! Your dog will get ample time to play, walk or hike ( depending on your dogs abilities) relax, snooze, and of course, eat! We have a fenced in back yard, where they’ll be able to do their “business” whenever they need and a few parks within walking distance for some leisure time. I also have experience administering oral and eye medication. Being a homemaker, mom to a 19 yr old, and having no more of our own pets, your dog will be getting plenty of time, love & attention, and supervision throughout the day. My husband works from home and loves spending time with dogs too, so your pup will always have company. I live in a townhouse where your dog will never be far from my sight, not that many places to go lol. I live in a quiet neighborhood, where our backyard is fenced and not easily accessible to public. We have carpeted stairs making it easier to get up and down and a large carpet in the living room for them to roll around and scratch their backs!
“Elizabeth is great, our dog has stayed with her 3 times now. I was impressed at how when we arrived at her place this time Bella excitedly followed her right in without looking back. She must really be enjoying her stays.”

“Vanessa and Ehsan are awesome with our vizsla, and they bring her to lots of walks and parks for exercise. They are kind people and take good care of the dogs they board. We recommend them!”

About: I have been a dog trainer for the past 26 years and I have had pets all my life. I know how important it is to find someone reliable to take care of your pet while you are at work, or away. I have had my fare share of dog walkers cancelling at the last minute so I know the frustration with finding a reliable and responsible person. I am now 50 years old and will be there for your dog or cat, as agreed and as needed. I recently lost my big Rhodesian Ridgeback. We hiked every day for his ten year life. He was a well trained (by me) but spoiled boy who slept in my bed and was allowed on the sofa. I would treat yours based on your own rules but they would be loved and completely cared for. I find myself not wanting another dog of my own just yet but wanting to take care of others while I have the time. * Doggy day care max 8 hrs * House sit/boarding 24 hours * Dog walking one hour * Home visits 20-30 minutes My schedule is open but new dogs I will book solo so we get to know each other first. I can do day or evening walks, any day of the week. Boarding would consist of walking your dog everyday, max 2 dogs at a time. I have a very large home in Westwood Plateau. I have a fenced yard that we can hang out in after our walks, which would usually be in the forest where they can be on or off leash once we get to know each other.
“I couldn't be happier with Kody, Sophie and family for taking care of Emma! They treated her as part of the family, lots of affection, long walks, playtime and company. Special mention to Cooper who is now Emma's bestie! I love the regular updates, photos and videos that they send. Puts a smile on my face everytime. Emma will surely miss them but I know they're just an email away from booking another sitting. Trusted and a class act!—I highly recommend Kody and Sophie.”

About: Loving pet carer with over 20 years experience with dogs and cats. I offer daytime walks, daycare at my home, drop ins, and overnight care. Being an at-home parent my hours are fairly flexible on weekdays, and on weekends by request. We currently have one kitten of our own living at home, your pet would have to be comfortable with that. IMPORTANT For stays in my home: I do have two children at home (a 6yr old and a 10yr old) so for any bookings at my home I can only take in pets who are comfortable being around children. They have grown up around dogs, cats, and farm animals. I always take care to ensure that pets have space for themselves and that the children treat them respectfully, but I am unable to take in pets that may be extremely timid or aggressive with children. I am a stay at home Mum, and work part-time at home. So my schedule is fairly flexible, pets are not left on their own unless it’s for short periods. I’m happy to work with clients to accommodate their drop off and pick up times. Dogs have access to our fully fenced yard and a park just down the block. I never let a dog outside in our yard without me being present. I work from home allowing my schedule to be flexible to help accommodate your needs. Available weekdays and weekends, can be available on short notice. have a fenced in yard, where dogs can enjoy supervised play and potty breaks. I am able to contain dogs or cats to my family room/kitchen or living room if needed and happy to accept crates if needed.
“While gone on my vacation, Sayedeh has been amazing. She provided frequent updates and photos. He got along with her dog Tobi which is a huge plus as they can play all day. Though it was a condo, Sayedeh still takes him out frequently for potty, walks and playtime at the dog park. When I came to pick him up he was sad to leave as he had a blast with them. Will be putting my dog in Sayedeh’s care in the near future!”

“Leigh was absolutely amazing with our 8 month old Toy Poodle. Kush was a bit anxious the first night being away from us and Leigh slept on the couch next to his crate to keep him comfortable. We got regular updates/photos and she took him in for an extra week (over Christmas) while we were stranded from cancelled flights. Thanks so much!! Highly recommended.”

“Amit & Peenaz were very kind and took good care of Jewel. She ended up having very bad anxiety attacks at nighttime (which we did not foresee), and they truly tried their best to soothe her episodes. I'm so sorry for the lost sleep! 😭 We got updates the whole time and felt at ease. I hope they are willing to take Jewel for the future!”

“Lisa totally put me at ease for my first Rover booking. I couldn’t have asked for a better match for my dog! She took time to understand his needs, was kind and nurturing, and he settled in almost immediately. I received pictures and updates and Lisa was a great communicator. 10/10 would recommend!”

“Gloria and Steven were great hosts for our pup Eli! They were thoughtful in learning Eli’s personality (since it was our first time) and quickly adjusted to his needs and routine. Communication was 10/10 as they sent updates and photos consistently throughout Eli’s stay. They have an awesome dog park right by their place and he was spoiled with many walks! “I boarded my cat with Andson for the first time, and I couldn't be more pleased with the care she received. Andson was incredibly attentive, sending me updates 2-3 times a day with photos and videos, which reassured me that my cat was in good hands. They played with her every day, making sure she felt at home. My cat enjoyed her stay so much, and I will definitely trust Andson again whenever I need to go out of town. Highly recommend Andson for pet boarding!”

“We are so grateful to Chelsie for taking such great care of our cat, Leo. He was sick while we were away and she kept a close eye on him, adjusted his food, cleaned up after him and showed so much care. She is so knowledgeable and she kept us well informed. Leo us doing much better now. We couldn't be happier. Thanks so much, Chelsie!”

“Tammy looked after our two cats for the first time over spring break and everything went great. Tammy is friendly, energetic, and has an obvious love for the animals. Our cats warmed up to her really fast (even the skittish one) and we were pleased with how the house looked when we got home. I wouldn't hesitate to hire her again.”

“Caitlyn was amazing taking care of my cats. Even though they are shy, they warmed up to her really quickly. She knew what to do to make them feel safe and comfortable to play with her. She also went above and beyond of what we asked her to do. We will definitely contact her again in the future.”

About: What sets me apart? I am confident with large dogs, including farm and guard dogs! I discovered a love for big dogs when my mum adopted a hound mix who grew to be a 120lb wrecking ball of dopey energy. I've had a soft spot for the big ones ever since, and take particular pleasure in befriending them. I believe communication between human and dog is critical. A person's body language and tone of voice can say more to a dog than words ever could. That means I physically get down onto their level for affection, I use positive reinforcement consistently, I talk with them throughout walks, and I keep an eye on their body language as well for signs of happiness, fear, apprehension, etc. I'm confident walking on city streets, in forests/on trails, and in off-leash zones. I just need to know what your pup is most comfortable with and we'll go from there! APRIL 1 - NOV 1 availability Mon - 12:30pm to 8:00pm Tues - 12:30pm to 8:00pm Weds - unavailable Thurs - 12:30pm to 8:00pm Fri - 12:30pm to 8:00pm Sat - 12:30pm to 8:00pm Sun - 6:00am to 8:00pm I work at my job most mornings so will generally not be able to accommodate morning requests. I am keen to operate within the parameters and routines you've established inside and outside your home, in order to maintain continuity for your pet. This includes checking in with you for specific command words, encouraged and discouraged behaviours and their corresponding rewards/corrections, social situations to work on or avoid, favourite routes, etc. Personally, my pet cat receives as much attention as I can give him. He is highly affectionate, so is usually parked on my lap or somewhere nearby. I used treats/positive reinforcement to train him to shake a paw and sit down. My great fear for my little guy, and for all pets, really, is that he is bored, understimulated, or lonely. Because of this, I pay special attention to making sure that he is being physically and mentally stimulated in addition to affection. That means exercise and puzzles! I love to find simple games whether we're outside or inside - find-the-thing, makeshift tunnels to run through (if you're brave), seeking out tiny forest creatures to discover, etc. I'm always looking for new brain games for dogs, so if you have a favourite, let me know!

“Brenna was excellent with our unusual cats. They were clearly happy with her care. She followed our directions and it all worked well. Her cleanups after their initial upsets were flawless. Will definitely book her again.”

About: I have had cats since I was born. My kitty passed away a few years ago and my dog a few months ago. I suddenly find myself without a pet so I decided I would just take care of other peoples for awhile! I know how hard it is to find someone reliable who you can trust to take care of your animals when you go away and I can tell you I will give them the utmost care and love I gave my own animals. Happy to take care of your cat in your home, or mine if they are neutered/spayed. I live in Westwood Plateau so Tri-Cities area preferred.
“Orietta was super kind and helpful taking care of our cat while we were away. She sent daily picture updates which was appreciated and took the time to throw out the old garbage and sweep up. Highly recommend!”

“Ellie is exceptional! This was my first time booking through Rover and Ellie made the whole process stress-free and easy. I highly recommend her and will book with her again!”

“Kelly was great with Keira! She was communicative, responsive, diligent and kind. Thank you for accepting my last minute booking! It was a pleasure having you, would rebook for sure and definitely would recommend!”

“Very responsive dog sitter, he constantly updated to me of what and how my dog is doing! Will definitely choose this day care again and the price is very reasonable! I also love how my dog gets to walk trail with other dogs instead of staying indoor.”

“Margarita's family is wonderful. We have never asked Margarita for help before, but fortunately, she accepted our urgent request. Margarita took our furry girl Piper for a walk, and we believe she thoroughly enjoyed it. We highly recommend Margarita.”

“This was my first time using the app and the first time leaving my fur baby with a stranger. I was skeptic but Viktoriia was very reassuring that her experience with dogs was one I could trust. She checked in with pictures which made me feel at ease. Definitely will continue using her services whenever I need it.”

“Priya was very nice with them. Did her best to make my dogs feel comfortable and break the ice. I was really anxious about leaving them with a dog sitter since they usually stay with friends, so I left them for few hours with Priya as a trial. It turned out great. They did so well with her. I’ll be leaving them with her for 3 nights in coming weeks.”

“Rena is always smiling and was extremely accommodating to both our dog and us (first time using the app, first time in Port Coquitlam, etc). Wonderful house in a very secure building with underground parking. It was the first time at a daycare for our puppy and she manages to make it work, sent us tons of pics and videos. Her dog is friendly, not hostile or territorial, just a small fluffy good soul. We live 45 min away from her and my wife wants us to book her again. Her 5 stars are the real deal.”

“Toby had a wonderful experience. He was treated with so much care and patience, and I felt completely at ease while he was in their care. They were kind, attentive, and maintained great communication throughout his stay. It’s clear that they truly love dogs and genuinely care about their well-being. I would definitely trust them to take care of Toby again. Thank you so much for everything!”

“Tyson was wonderful with our pup Callie. She came home happy and calm. Tyson took her for an awesome walk and cool down as it was a hot day and his feedback was great!”

“Great sitter! Will for sure leave my baby with Pamela again. She sent lots of updates and cared very well for my anxious and clingy dog. I picked up a very happy dog. Will book again. Highly recommend!”

“Lu is an incredibly professional and patient caregiver. Her dog is also absolutely adorable and very gentle, which made the environment even more comfortable. My dog is an energetic male Golden Retriever who gets excited very easily, and during the few hours he stayed at Lu’s place, she consistently sent me photo and video updates. I could clearly see how happy he was, freely releasing his energy and having a great time in her home. When I picked him up, he was completely tired out, in the best way, which was such a pleasant surprise. What truly touched me was how attentive Lu is. She remembered every single thing I mentioned about my dog’s needs and things to watch out for, even details I only brought up briefly during our rushed first meeting. That level of care and thoughtfulness really meant a lot to me. It was a wonderful daycare experience for both my dog and me. I would absolutely recommend Lu to anyone looking for a trustworthy and loving caregiver.”

“Samira has been so kind and gentle with my dog Milly. We felt so comfortable and completely at ease to have Milly with her! Thank you Samira and we plan to use your services again soon. Thank you for the adorable picture updates as well!”

I plan my schedule to ensure pets receive consistent care, attention, and timely visits throughout the day. When caring for pets in your home, I always prioritize safety, respect, and routine. I follow your instructions closely, keep doors secured, and make sure your pet stays comfortable in their familiar environment. I provide updates and communication so you always know how your pet is doing. I’m often with my toddler during the day, so I’m a great fit for dogs that are friendly and comfortable around children.
About: I’ve loved animals for as long as I can remember, and I’ve spent more than 35 years caring for pets of all sizes. Over the years I’ve supported elderly cats, pets with medical needs like diabetes (insulin injections), reactive dogs, and muscle breeds who just need a calm, confident presence. My own dog, Aero, and I have been on a reactivity journey together, and with patience, consistency, and guidance from a professional trainer, she’s made incredible progress. We’re part of a training community that meets every weekend for recall practice, reactivity work, and foundational skills. Everything I learn with Aero helps me support the animals I care for. I’m about to complete my pet first aid certification, and I’m confident that the experience and skills I’ve built over the decades will help your pets feel safe, understood, and truly cared for. Your animals will be treated like my own, with patience, love, and respect. I currently work part-time, which means I have plenty of flexible time to offer fun, rain-or-shine dog walks and drop-ins on most weekday afternoons and some mornings. My priority is making your pet feel safe, understood, and comfortable in their own space. I will follow your requested routine closely (i.e., feeding, walks, medications, training cues, and comfort rituals), so your pet experiences consistency and calm. With 35+ years of caring for animals of all sizes and temperaments, I take a patient, gentle approach. I’m experienced with seniors, pets with medical needs (including giving insulin injections), reactive dogs, and strong breeds, so I adjust my handling to what each animal needs to feel secure. If your pet enjoys training sessions, I’m happy to reinforce recall, foundations, and reactivity work using positive methods I’ve learned through working with my own dog, Aero, and our training community. I provide affection, enrichment, and quiet companionship, always reading your pet's body language and moving at their pace. You can expect regular updates, photos, and honest communication, so that you can feel as comfortable as your pet does.
“Priya was awesome with our dog Bluey and we’ll definitely be asking for her services again! Priya was very attentive and Bluey instantly recognized her as a friend :)”

“Paula was everything you could ask for and more!! Great communication, took lots of photos for us to see, and was very punctual ☺️ We will definitely be using her services again.”

About: I've grown up with dogs and now have our own loveable labradoodle in our family. Love dogs and walking and being outside whatever the weather. Very comfortable around any size of dog. I am a stay at home mom so have time during the day to walk your dog. I can do this with my own friendly labradoodle or without her depending on your dog's personality and needs. It's important to me to find out all about your dog before I walk them. What scares them, what do they run after, do they like other dogs or being patted by humans?
About: What sets me apart is my genuine love for dogs and commitment to personalized care. I'm experienced in training puppies and skilled in senior dog care, including post-surgery. I'm also comfortable administering medication, including eye drops, ensuring your dog receives the best possible care. Pet care fits seamlessly into my daily routine. I can dedicate ample time to walks, playtime, feeding, and any specific needs your pet has. My schedule is flexible, ensuring your furry friend gets all the attention and care they deserve. I prioritize your pet's comfort and safety above all else. That's why I bring my pet care services directly to your home. This ensures your dog remains in a familiar, stress-free environment, following their regular routine with personalized attention, minimizing any anxiety while you're away.
“Alexandria was amazing with the dogs! Got an update as to how they were on the walk, our 3 legged baby had to be carried back because he was too pooped and she still stayed and played with our younger one since he was still full of energy! Also received a bunch of pictures .. When I got home both dogs were so happy but still so tired that they weren’t crazy wild as soon as I walked in the door which was so great! Can tell they really loved her and enjoyed the company and will definitely be using her again and again!”

“Elizabeth is great, our dog has stayed with her 3 times now. I was impressed at how when we arrived at her place this time Bella excitedly followed her right in without looking back. She must really be enjoying her stays.”

We will definitely be going back in the future :)”

About: I have a deep love and passion for all animals, especially dogs. They tend to connect with me effortlessly, and building trust with each dog comes very naturally to me 🐾 I’ve grown up surrounded by dogs and cats, and I’ve also worked with rescue and street dogs in Mexico. That experience taught me how to understand each dog’s unique personality, gain their trust, and care for them based on their individual needs. I have experience with all kinds of dogs, from high-energy pups who love to play and explore, to older dogs who need extra patience, comfort, and gentle care. I now offer dog sitting in my home, where your pup will be part of a calm, loving environment. I live near beautiful trails and green spaces, so your dog will enjoy plenty of outdoor adventures, long walks, hikes, and (with your approval) off-leash time. While staying with me, your dog will often be around one or two other friendly dogs, making it a great fit for pups who enjoy socializing and being part of a small pack. Your dog will be treated like family. Geeting lots of love, attention, exercise, and of course, cuddles I work a few hours online in the mornings and teach for a couple of hours in the evenings, which gives me plenty of time during the day to focus on your dog and take them on walks and outdoor adventures. I also live with my partner, who is an experienced dog lover and actively helps with care, walks, and outings. This means your dog gets lots of attention, exercise, supervision and love throughout the day. When your dog stays in my home, it’s like their own little vacation, full of love, care, and fun. They’ll be welcomed into a calm, loving environment where they’re treated like part of the family and truly adored. I build a genuine connection with every dog in my care, making sure they feel safe, happy, and loved from the moment they arrive. Their days will be filled with outdoor adventures, walks, and lots of attention, balanced with time to relax and feel at home. I’ll follow your dog’s routine as closely as possible so they feel comfortable and secure, while also making sure they have an amazing, enriching stay. My goal is for your dog to go home happy, relaxed, and already excited for their next visit 💙
“Jennifer and her family were amazing with Luna❤️They treated her as part of their family. We would definitely recommend them and have them look after our fur baby again.”

“Justine was an amazing sitter for my sweet girl Roca. She welcomed her into her home and loved her like she was her own. I will definitely use her again and highly recommend her for your pooch.”

“Tyson had my guy for 3 weeks (first time apart!) and I have no hesitations to book with him again! He was comfortable with him from the first meet and level of communication was perfect for me. I had no worries about how he would handle my guy as he can be a lot of dog sometimes. He even came back an expert on a trick we were working on! He made what could have been a stressful 3 weeks away, more of a breeze. Definitely recommend!”

“Deborah and Mark are such kind people and took great care of our dogs while we were away for an extended period. They treated the dogs like members of their family, and took them on daily outings. We were able to fully enjoy our vacation knowing our dogs were in their care. We will use them again in a heartbeat.”
