About: Growing up, I had a yellow lab named Jazzy who sadly passed away about 5 years ago. I’ve really missed having a dog in my life since, but my apartment doesn’t allow pets—so I’d love the chance to care for yours. I spend a lot of time around dogs like my dad’s golden retriever, Tucker, and our friend’s Bernese mountain dog, Charlie. Whether it’s going for walks, hikes, playing in the snow, or just relaxing, I genuinely love being around them. Anytime my partner and I see a dog, we get just as excited as dogs do when they see a squirrel—it really shows how much we love them. What sets me apart is that I’m not doing this just for the money—I truly enjoy spending time with dogs and making sure they’re happy, exercised, and well cared for. I’m reliable, easygoing, and will treat your dog like they’re my own. Pet care fits well into my weekly routine. I work as an RMT in Port Coquitlam and Coquitlam with a consistent schedule—Monday 10–4, Tuesday & Thursday 2–8, Friday 12–6:30, and Saturday 9–4. This leaves me available most mornings, evenings, Wednesdays, and Sundays, making it easy to fit in walks, check-ins, or overnight sitting. I’m also able to plan my days ahead of time, so I can stay consistent and reliable for your pet’s routine. When caring for pets, my priority is making them feel safe, comfortable, and sticking to their usual routine as closely as possible. Whether I’m walking your dog or staying in your home, I make sure they get plenty of attention, exercise, and care. I’m attentive to each dog’s personality and needs—whether that’s high-energy walks, slower paced outings, or just spending time keeping them company. I always follow any instructions closely (feeding, routines, medications if needed) and keep a clean, respectful environment in your home. You can trust that your dog will be well looked after, treated with care, and given lots of attention while you’re away.

About: Loving pet carer with over 20 years experience with dogs and cats. I offer daytime walks, daycare at my home, drop ins, and overnight care. Being an at-home parent my hours are fairly flexible on weekdays, and on weekends by request. We currently have one kitten of our own living at home, your pet would have to be comfortable with that. IMPORTANT For stays in my home: I do have two children at home (a 6yr old and a 10yr old) so for any bookings at my home I can only take in pets who are comfortable being around children. They have grown up around dogs, cats, and farm animals. I always take care to ensure that pets have space for themselves and that the children treat them respectfully, but I am unable to take in pets that may be extremely timid or aggressive with children. I am a stay at home Mum, and work part-time at home. So my schedule is fairly flexible, pets are not left on their own unless it’s for short periods. I’m happy to work with clients to accommodate their drop off and pick up times. Dogs have access to our fully fenced yard and a park just down the block. I never let a dog outside in our yard without me being present. I work from home allowing my schedule to be flexible to help accommodate your needs. Available weekdays and weekends, can be available on short notice. have a fenced in yard, where dogs can enjoy supervised play and potty breaks. I am able to contain dogs or cats to my family room/kitchen or living room if needed and happy to accept crates if needed.

About: My journey as a pet parent began in 2010 with an 8-week-old puppy, followed by his daughter, both of whom I raised and cared for through every stage of their lives. While they are currently enjoying life with my parents since my move to Vancouver, I miss the companionship of dogs dearly. Having raised a dog from infancy and managed a multi-dog household for over a decade, I am deeply experienced in puppy training, senior care, and everything in between. I treat every guest dog with the same love and attentiveness I gave my own for the last 14 years. I am currently at home full-time while I focus on securing an articling position in law, which means your pet will have my constant company and undivided attention throughout the day. Because I am studying and applying from home, I have an exceptionally flexible schedule and can easily stick to your dog’s specific routine. Whether it is a weekday or a weekend, I am available for frequent potty breaks, interactive play, and long walks on the lovely trails right next to my apartment. Your pup won't just be 'stopped in on'—they will have a dedicated companion for mid-day belly rubs and consistent supervision to ensure they feel safe, happy, and relaxed while you’re away. Your pet will enjoy a calm, dog-friendly apartment featuring a private, secure patio for fresh air and relaxing. We are perfectly situated right next to a beautiful walking trail and a local dog park, making it easy to provide plenty of exercise and socialization tailored to your dog's energy level. Having raised my own dogs for 14 years, I am highly attuned to pet safety and behavior. As a future legal professional, I pride myself on being extremely organized and communicative—you can expect regular photo updates and the peace of mind that your pet is in a secure, loving, and highly responsible home.

About: I’ve been caring for dogs for over 10 years and genuinely love spending time with them. Growing up, I regularly walked dogs throughout my neighborhood, and friends and family have trusted me to care for their pets during overnight stays while they were away. I’m comfortable with dogs of all sizes and energy levels and enjoy taking them on walks, playing with them, and making sure they stick to their normal routine. I understand how important it is to leave your pet with someone you can trust, so I’ll treat your dog like one of my own and keep you updated with photos and messages for peace of mind. As a stay-at-home parent, I have a very flexible schedule and am available most days for walks, drop-in visits, overnight care, and pet sitting. This flexibility allows me to give pets the time, attention, and companionship they deserve while sticking to their regular routines. Whether your pet needs a midday walk, weekend care, or last-minute help, I’ll do my best to accommodate your schedule. For boarding or daycare in my home, pets must be comfortable around young children, as I have a toddler but she is amazing with animals and loves them so much!!!! Your pet’s safety, comfort, and happiness are my top priorities. I take the time to learn each pet’s routine, personality, and any special instructions so they feel safe and comfortable while you’re away. I’ll treat your home and your pet with the utmost respect and provide plenty of love, exercise, and attention. I also believe in keeping pet parents updated with regular photos and messages, so you’ll always know your furry family member is happy and well cared for.

About: Ever since my childhood, dogs have been an integral part of my life, thanks to my parents who instilled in me a deep love and respect for these wonderful companions. Now, as a proud dog owner myself, I share my days with my beloved canine friend, Bobbi. His presence brings an unparalleled joy, and the bond we share is something truly special. Working from home provides me with the perfect opportunity to shower my furry friend with the attention and care he deserves. Bobbi and I enjoy spending quality time together, be it playing in our fenced yard, going for long walks, or simply lounging indoors. I'm proud to provide a smoke-free and drug-free environment, ensuring the utmost safety and well-being for all our four-legged guests. Photographing dogs has become a passion of mine – capturing their unique personalities and moments of joy brings me immense happiness. Our home is not just a place to stay; it's a haven for dogs to play, relax, and feel cherished. I look forward to extending that love and care to your beloved pets, creating a home away from home for them. I am working from home everyday (8-16). I always take dogs out for potty break before me starting my day. At noon, I will let dogs to have a break in the yard. After work, I normally take dogs for a walk or go to the dog park for 40min-1hr. Before bed, there will be another short potty break. I live in a townhome with my partner where we have a fenced yard where my dog Bobbi always plays his balls there! No kids! No smoking! No drugs!

About: Animals have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I grew up on a farm, where caring for animals wasn’t just a responsibility, it was a way of life. Over the years, I’ve also shared my home with beloved dogs and cats of my own, giving me a deep understanding of the love, patience, and consistency they need to feel safe and happy. I know that every pet has their own personality, routine, and comfort level, and I take the time to understand the animals, emotional, and physical needs and adapt accordingly. As an experienced Airbnb host, I understand the importance of respecting your home as carefully as I care for your pets. Whether your companion needs energetic walks, gentle companionship, playtime, or quiet cuddles, I tailor my care to their individual needs. I am comfortable administering medications as directed, monitoring your pet for any changes in health or behaviour, providing wound care, and skilfully and confidently following veterinary instructions after appointments or treatments. My goal is simple: to ensure you return home to happy, healthy pets and a home that has been cared for with the same attention and respect I bestowed on my Short term rental property. I have the experience and expertise to handle any event that occurs in a capable calm manner. This is my retirement job and I’m so excited about it. It is in my nature to nurture animals homes, and of course, my kids and grandkids. I am a positive influence and addition in any role that I take on. This is also an opportunity for me to be active and connected, which is very important to me. Pets are best served by being in their own space where they are familiar and comfortable. Walks are provided that are adventurous or calm, depending on the needs of my current walking companion. Attention to detail will be provided in their maintenance feeding routine and healthcare guidelines provided by their owner and or veterinarian. I am skilled at administering medication and providing wound care.

About: I was a dog-mom for 8 years before losing my boy to cancer in June 2024. Believe me when I say, I love dogs more than I can put into words. They are a constant reminder of what is good and beautiful about this world and I truly do love them all like they are my own. I am exceptionally knowledgeable and skilled at caring for senior dogs with high medical, emotional and physical health needs as well as anxious dogs. While my dog was with me, he was under the care of a Naturopath, a GP vet, an Internal Medicine Specialist and a Cardiologist, and he attended biweekly Hydrotherapy sessions in early 2024. He also ate homecooked meals, under advisement from his Naturopath, before transitioning to speciality food. I am available to help in Coquitlam , Port Coquitlam and Port Moody so, drop me a line -- I can't wait to meet you and your fur-baby :) I work from home 3 days a week so, I can make time to walk your dog (within Coquitlam, Port Coquitlam and Port Moody) or, if you'd like, I would look after your dog in my home office while I work. I would look after your dog in my home office while I work. I have a small fenced yard for doggie potty breaks. With regard to doggie daycare, I'm looking to work with just one family at this time so that I can provide care for your fur baby with undivided and uninterrupted attention.

About: I have been a dog trainer for the past 26 years and I have had pets all my life. I know how important it is to find someone reliable to take care of your pet while you are at work, or away. I have had my fare share of dog walkers cancelling at the last minute so I know the frustration with finding a reliable and responsible person. I am now 50 years old and will be there for your dog or cat, as agreed and as needed. I recently lost my big Rhodesian Ridgeback. We hiked every day for his ten year life. He was a well trained (by me) but spoiled boy who slept in my bed and was allowed on the sofa. I would treat yours based on your own rules but they would be loved and completely cared for. I find myself not wanting another dog of my own just yet but wanting to take care of others while I have the time. * Doggy day care max 8 hrs * House sit at your home two dogs max * Boarding in my home 1 dog max at a time except in special circumstances * Dog walking one hour up to 3 dogs max * Home visits 20-30 minutes My schedule is open but new dogs I will book solo so we get to know each other first. I can do day or evening walks, any day of the week. Boarding at my home would consist of walking your dog twice daily everyday, right now I am only booking boarding for one dog at a time except in special circumstances. Can do stays or sits in your home for two dogs max. I have a very large home in Westwood Plateau. I have a fenced yard that we can hang out in after our walks, which would usually be in the forest where they can be on or off leash once we get to know each other.

She informed me of whether they ate their meals. She would take Simba on his daily walks and would inform me if he did/didn't do his business. She also acted on any further instructions that I would giver her. Mahshid has a very caring nature and the pets thoroughly enjoyed having her around. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
