About: I'm a lifelong dog lover from the UK currently traveling around Canada. I’ve had dogs in my home all my life and have spent the last 7 years dog sitting for a wide range of breeds from energetic dogs who need long, adventurous walks, to older dogs who just enjoy a gentle stroll and relaxing in the park. I’ve also trained my own dog and a friends so I’m comfortable reinforcing commands. Being around dogs is something i miss while traveling, so I’d love the chance to help care for yours as if they were my own. I’m not working so I will be able to follow any routine the dog or animal has. I love to go on long walks so will happily take the dog out for as long as you recommend I am constantly aware of the animals in my care and keep an eye on them whether it’s in the garden at the park or in the house. This also mean I will follow any rules that the owner has set out

About: Hello, I’m Melissa! I have 12+ years experience working with pets. While I was in university, I supported myself by dog sitting and dog walking. I now have my own dog - a sweet rescue named Cedar. She is occasionally shy with other dogs but does not have any issues with them. We live in the West End, close to great dog parks and beaches. We love to hike, so if your dog stays with me they will get plenty of exercise! I am a teacher who is off for the summer so I have lots of time to spend with your pets. I am available for frequent potty breaks and enjoy doing one longer walk each day. During the school year, I have more availability on long weekends and school breaks. I am still happy to dogsit during the work week! I live in an apartment close to the dog beach, the seawall, and many parks. I am also available for drop in walks and care.

About: I'm not a professional pet caresman, this is not my business. I just want to be able to help regular people who want a regular person taking care of their great (but regular) dog. I really want your dog to enjoy their time with me and vice versa, but I want it be as regular and stress free as possible for all involved. If your dog has special food or water to use, that's fine. If you want them to practice their obedience training in the park, sure we can work on that. If your dog loves listening to Chaucer.. I'd probably just read them aloud the news (nothing too extreme I'm not a monster) or The Economist or possibly Watchmen. We all have our limits. I can stay overnight at your home if needed for sitting, but it's not required if you don't require it. I will keep your doggo or gato out of harm's way and won't pour water on them or feed them after midnight. Unless they only eat after midnight I guess. I work remotely and have a flexible schedule, so can accommodate most requests within a reasonable distance. If house-sitting and prefer us to stay in more to curb separation anxiety, totally doable. Or you want us to stay out to not create that issue that's perfectly fine too. I will follow your guidelines to a T. I love animals and will take care of them as my own. For housesitting stays, my partner (who also petsits often) and I usually tag team responsibilities if the owner is comfortable with it - extra attention for your furball and gives backup in case anything happens with my schedule or in case life throws a curveball.
About: Hi there! I’m Paula and I'm 35 years old, a lifelong dog lover who’s had dogs since I was 10 years old. Although I don’t currently have a dog (it’s just me, and I believe in the commitment it takes to have one), I really miss their companionship. That’s why I’ve been happily dog-sitting for the last three years! I live in a one-bedroom apartment with a patio in a dog-friendly building. Pets are welcome everywhere in my house yes! That also includes couch and bed :) With a park just a block away, we’ll have plenty of chances for long walks—which I love! Plus, there will be plenty of cuddles in the mix to keep your pup feeling right at home. Back in Spain, I volunteered at a dog shelter for several years, gaining experience in training, dog therapy, and caring for pups of all ages, including seniors and those needing medication. Throughout the year, I’m usually more available on weekends, but I’m flexible and will do my best to accommodate your requests. If you’re looking for a responsible, caring, and experienced dog-sitter to keep your pup happy, active, and showered with cuddles, I’d love to connect. Gracias! I have a full time job from Monday to Friday but I'm free every night from 6pm Fridays and weekends work best for me for home sitting I live in a one bedroom apartment with balcony and plenty of space and sun light. My building is pet friendly, including a roof top and so is my home. Yes, including the coach ;) The closest dog friendly park around my neighborhood is 5min walking

I’m patient, calm, and observant, and I always take time to learn each pet’s routines and preferences. I have experience with puppies, senior pets, and shy animals, and I can provide walks, feeding, litter box cleaning, playtime, and medication under owner instructions. I almost graduate. I only have one course in this semester. Therefore, I have enough time and patience to take care of the dog and cat. Safety is my top priority. I keep dogs on leash during walks unless in a secure enclosed area. I never introduce pets to other animals without permission. I follow all feeding and medication instructions, monitor behavior, and keep clean water available. In the client’s home, I make sure doors and windows are secure and respect house rules. Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Port Moody
Carrie-Ann has provided great care and attention to my anxious pup. I appreciate that she helps him work through sticky moments when he struggles to find calm and helps him make desirable choices. Riley loves spending time with her, exploring the neighbourhood, playing games and giving wet puppy kisses.

We had a great experience with Stephanie providing drop in care for Olive! She dropped in to take care of Olive and let her out for a pee and poo and got her dinner fed and everything went smoothly! Olive was happy and well taken care of, and we really appreciated the reliability and care. Thank you again so much :)

I had such a great experience with Baran as a dog sitter. It was their very first time meeting, and I wasn’t even home — which can honestly be stressful — but everything went so smoothly. Charlie absolutely loved her and felt comfortable with her right away, which really says a lot. with Baran, he was relaxed and happy from the start. She is kind, trustworthy, and clearly has a natural connection with dogs. It gave me so much peace of mind, and I would 100% recommend her to anyone looking for a caring and reliable sitter! We love u Baran🥰

Justine has been super communicative and I feel very confident leaving Otter with her! I love the peace of mind that comes from knowing she has her dog first aid, and she is just lovely to interact with all around. Definitely plan to continue working with her!!

Dawn W. took great care of our pets, sending messages and photos every day. She was very attentive, and even though we had difficulty communicating in the first few days because I didn't have access to the Rover app, she made every effort to contact us during that time via another messaging app. We found our puppy and kitty safe and sound, and our house as we left it. I highly recommend her services!

It was my first time using this app to search for a pet sitter and at first I was worried if my senior pup can be taken cared of due to his old age condition. I’m happy I found Wing Sum and she was responsible, attentive and caring for my dog. She followed my instructions well and I know my dog is in good hands. Thank you

Fantastic dog sitter! This is the first time we have used a did sitter outside our family and it worked out great! We appreciated the confidence and kindness in the way our dogs were cared for. The daily photos have left us with a lovely collection of pictures 🥰. We will definitely book again. Thank you from all of us!
