About: I’m a lifelong animal lover with experience caring for pets of all kinds, including cats, dogs, rabbits, guinea pigs, snakes, lizards, ferrets, and fish. I currently have a 5 year old husky, a 14 year old orange cat, a 1½ year old black cat, and I’ve always grown up with pets! I worked at Bosley’s, giving me hands-on experience with pet care, and I do pet and home sitting frequently. I enjoy jogging, hiking, and walks with dogs, and I’m clean, responsible, and first-aid trained with over 10 years as a lifeguard. About: I’ve been helping my friends’ dogs for past few years. From small to medium sized dogs, I always find ways to have a fun time and take care of them. I have a very flexible schedule that can accommodate to your pet needs! Day or night, weekday or weekend, I can be there to help. I have a car so I can get to where I need to be quickly. I always check for hazards to ensure your pet is safe from endangering itself. About: I worked at animal emerge clinic of the Fraser Valley for almost 4 years and I love taking care of animals and giving them the love that they deserve. I can be pretty flexible but I am a dancer and this is what my schedule is like for right now Sundays 5:00pm-9:00pm, Wednesday 6:30-9:30pm, Thursdays 3:30, 5:00pm and Fridays 7:00pm-10pm. About: I'm a lifelong dog lover from the UK currently traveling around Canada. I’ve had dogs in my home all my life and have spent the last 7 years dog sitting for a wide range of breeds from energetic dogs who need long, adventurous walks, to older dogs who just enjoy a gentle stroll and relaxing in the park. About: Hi there! I’m Paula and I'm 35 years old, a lifelong dog lover who’s had dogs since I was 10 years old. Although I don’t currently have a dog (it’s just me, and I believe in the commitment it takes to have one), I really miss their companionship. About: Neighbours and family friends have leaned on me for dog and cat care over the years. Including walks, overnight care and drop-ins. In particular a beautiful mature Border Collie called Alfie who stole my heart. More recently, we cared for a gorgeous cross adopted from India in our home for 13 days. She is great at being lazy but also put us through our paces on the mountains too - the perfect combo for an active couple who also enjoy their chill time. I currently work full-time; from home in Kitsilano twice per week, and in Downtown three times per week. Can do drop-ins or walks nearby during my lunch hour, take care of your pet overnight in my apartment which I share with my partner, or evening care/walks between 5pm-10pm most nights. Please enquire for full availability, I can be very flexible! I have a two bed apartment with a balcony. No other pets, no smokers, two young(ish!) professionals who would like a dog of our own one day!

About: I’ve lived with cats and dogs my whole life, and in recent years have done extensive pet sitting and fostering. Most of my sitting experience was through Trusted Housesitters, and I can provide reviews/references. I’ve cared for dogs from the tiniest Pomeranian, to a Golden Labrador that could pass for a small horse. I also have experience with anxious and reactive dogs. I have also cared for cats with a huge range of dietary and medical needs, including super anxious cats, and cats who have not had previous human contact. I now have my own dog - a sweet rescue named Cedar. She is occasionally shy with other dogs but does not have any issues with them. We live in the West End, close to great dog parks and beaches. About: I'm not a professional pet caresman, this is not my business. I just want to be able to help regular people who want a regular person taking care of their great (but regular) dog. I really want your dog to enjoy their time with me and vice versa, but I want it be as regular and stress free as possible for all involved. If your dog has special food or water to use, that's fine. If you want them to practice their obedience training in the park, sure we can work on that. If your dog loves listening to Chaucer.. I'd probably just read them aloud the news (nothing too extreme I'm not a monster) or The Economist or possibly Watchmen. We all have our limits. I can stay overnight at your home if needed for sitting, but it's not required if you don't require it. I will keep your doggo or gato out of harm's way and won't pour water on them or feed them after midnight. Unless they only eat after midnight I guess. I work remotely and have a flexible schedule, so can accommodate most requests within a reasonable distance. If house-sitting and prefer us to stay in more to curb separation anxiety, totally doable. Or you want us to stay out to not create that issue that's perfectly fine too. I will follow your guidelines to a T. I love animals and will take care of them as my own. For housesitting stays, my partner (who also petsits often) and I usually tag team responsibilities if the owner is comfortable with it - extra attention for your furball and gives backup in case anything happens with my schedule or in case life throws a curveball.
