About: I’ve been helping my friends’ dogs for past few years. From small to medium sized dogs, I always find ways to have a fun time and take care of them. I have a very flexible schedule that can accommodate to your pet needs! Day or night, weekday or weekend, I can be there to help. I have a car so I can get to where I need to be quickly. I always check for hazards to ensure your pet is safe from endangering itself. I look for possible entries and exits to know where your pet can run off to or hide, ensuring I can keep track of possible scenarios.

About: I started dog sitting when a family member had to temporarily relocate to Toronto for medical needs. Sitting in the hospital i just really wanted to walk a dog - a friend suggested rover and I was blessed with not only walking dogs but pet sitting as well! i had so much fun I've decided to keep it up :) I have taken care of many animals - I do respite for people and this often includes their animals(: from tiny to large, young to old. Plenty of experience with oral medication and handling incontinence, very energetic dogs and the ones who take their time. I had my border collie for over 15 years, they taught me how important and rewarding it is to thoroughly care for our furry companions. I have extra flexibility during school breaks 😊 typically I take a dog for 3 walks a day, morning, a bigger afternoon walk and before bed time(: if i can I love spending a day hiking, or having a doggy tour guide around the neighborhood 🐾 I care for my client's homes and pets as if they were my own. Dietary needs, mobility, medication, behavior management and other needs are top priority. As well as all the fun(: i own my home in Vancouver and understand the importance of taking care of it. Off leash time i am very cautious and need to build trust first. I do have a dog friendly car:)

About: Having been raised in a family where our dog used to sleep on the same bed as me, I treat them as my siblings. And the same gene is passed to my son as well!! I’m currently working precariously so will have plenty of time to play with your pups. I have a 4 year old toddler who just loves pets and animals in general. The pups will get his company after he’s back from daycare. I’m available for boarding as well. I have a backyard and company of a toddler that will keep him busy and playful. I can also give a room for himself in the crate if needed. My family usually get very cuddly with pets and treats them as equal (sometimes more) so they sleep with us on bed, eat with us and then short pee walk in the morning. I’m usually an early morning person. And it’s followed up with a longer walk later. I have a 6 year old so pick and drop with dog is included. I have a small fenced yard and enough space on the living room to play around and keep them active! We love to play fetch ball, tug of war and more!

About: Neighbours and family friends have leaned on me for dog and cat care over the years. Including walks, overnight care and drop-ins. In particular a beautiful mature Border Collie called Alfie who stole my heart. More recently, we cared for a gorgeous cross adopted from India in our home for 13 days. She is great at being lazy but also put us through our paces on the mountains too - the perfect combo for an active couple who also enjoy their chill time. I currently work full-time; from home in Kitsilano twice per week, and in Downtown three times per week. Can do drop-ins or walks nearby during my lunch hour, take care of your pet overnight in my apartment which I share with my partner, or evening care/walks between 5pm-10pm most nights. Please enquire for full availability, I can be very flexible! I have a two bed apartment with a balcony. No other pets, no smokers, two young(ish!) professionals who would like a dog of our own one day!

About: I’ve been taking care of dogs and cats since age of 9 and pursuit a professional career do 4 years. I have tons of experience of grooming and caring doggies. I’m a part time groomer and I can easily play with doggies for at least 4 hours per day. So I can easily accommodate most of the doggies play time and potty time. I have a fenced back yard and 2 friendly small doggies who can keep your fur baby accompanied. Me, my husband and my daughter are all pet lovers and we would love to see you fur baby.

Experienced with senior dogs and hairless breeds, Iv grown up with dogs all my life, I love dog walks and most importantly I love dogs of all sizes! Comfort and support will be provided with my flexible schedule which allows me to work from home, so your dog will never be alone. Communication is provided regularly with updates, photos and quick response times. I always have my phone on me, txt or email is the best. Rates are subject to change during booking on a case by case basis. With a spacious apartment that has 1 other occupant, my partner who will occasionally help out from time to time, with your permission. Our home is large, quiet, non-smoking, with no children or other pets proving a safe, calming and fun environment.

About: We are Paul and Michaela, a professional couple who recently moved back from Vancouver after a year abroad in New Zealand where we petsat for over 20 animals. We absolutely love animals of all kinds and for multiple years have taken care of a farm on Vancouver Island with goats, bees, chickens and cats. We have experience taking care of elderly pets, rescue dogs and pets with medical needs. We absolutely adore each animal that we get to take care of, and we often form lasting friendships with both the pet and pet owner. We both work full time from 9-5, but we are great at taking pets for walks before and after work as needed! About: I'm not a professional pet caresman, this is not my business. I just want to be able to help regular people who want a regular person taking care of their great (but regular) dog. I really want your dog to enjoy their time with me and vice versa, but I want it be as regular and stress free as possible for all involved. If your dog has special food or water to use, that's fine. If you want them to practice their obedience training in the park, sure we can work on that. If your dog loves listening to Chaucer.. I'd probably just read them aloud the news (nothing too extreme I'm not a monster) or The Economist or possibly Watchmen. We all have our limits. I can stay overnight at your home if needed for sitting, but it's not required if you don't require it. I will keep your doggo or gato out of harm's way and won't pour water on them or feed them after midnight. Unless they only eat after midnight I guess. I work remotely and have a flexible schedule, so can accommodate most requests within a reasonable distance. If house-sitting and prefer us to stay in more to curb separation anxiety, totally doable. Or you want us to stay out to not create that issue that's perfectly fine too. I will follow your guidelines to a T. I love animals and will take care of them as my own. For housesitting stays, my partner (who also petsits often) and I usually tag team responsibilities if the owner is comfortable with it - extra attention for your furball and gives backup in case anything happens with my schedule or in case life throws a curveball.

I moved from New Zealand to Canada 5 years ago and greatly miss having pets! Although I’m now a resident here, I have 2 cats and a cat back home. I have been trusted to house sit anywhere from days to months, with or without animals and I love walking, so would love a companion to take around the city/Vancouver with.
