About: I’ve taken care of dogs for most of my life! I love dogs and animals of every kind. I have volunteered at the BCSPCA before and understand the care that animals need. I am not working and at home the majority of the time at the moment, therefore, I have much more availability to give your dog the care and attention they need! As a dog owner myself. About: Growing up in a house full of dogs, cats, and even a few farm animals, I learned early how to feed, groom, and help with basic vet care and beginner dog training. I’ve cared for pets from newborn kittens and puppies to sweet senior cats and dogs, and even helped supervise my grandma’s cat during labour — what an experience! Since then I’ve raised my own Yorkie, helped caring for my roommate’s Devon Rex cat, and dog-sat a friend’s Shiba Inu, taking her on hikes, long walks, and beach days with my equally pet-loving partner. I’m home most of the time taking an online course and preparing for nursing school, while my partner works from home—so your pets will get plenty of love, walks, and attention. My partner and I live in a pet-friendly apartment steps away from several dog parks. We both love hiking and beach trips and can easily drive your pets for longer nature walks.

She played with them and was resourceful enough to figure out how to get them back in the house after they snuck into the garage (a favourite hangout of theirs). About: Ive been raised with dogs in my family for my entire life, including my own personal Akita named Simba. My upbringing and experience has taught me a great deal about how to care for pets, and have the utmost respect towards pets and pet owners alike. I’ve always taken great pride in taking care of my pets to the highest degree and treat them as both my family members and best companions. I have experience with very large, medium and small sized dogs from new born puppies to elderly. I currently work fully remotely from home 5 days per week from 9-5. I have a great amount of flexibility when it comes to giving attention or activity during the workday! I live with my girlfriend who is a dietitian in a dog friendly apartment building but do not currently have my own personal pets. I keep an extremely clean home and ensure pets have ample entertainment through their toys, human interaction, and comfortable bedding. Shiyao was a wonderful cat sitter to our kitties, Poppy and Daisy. She was very responsive every time we contacted her. She sent pictures and videos to us at every feeding and the cat feeding area and litter were always very clean and tidy. Our kitties were well taken care off-happy and healthy upon our return. Shiyao also was very mindful and careful with the security of our home, making sure the house was alarmed after each feeding. Anna is a very professional and warm sitter. We contacted her on short notice for a drop-in visit, and she truly exceeded our expectations. Our cat, Pudding, is usually shy and not very interactive, but during Anna’s first visit we could tell he felt comfortable with her right away. Besides feeding him and refilling his water, Anna spent extra time playing with Pudding and keeping him active. It was very reassuring to see how relaxed and happy Pudding was—almost as if we were still home with him. We would absolutely recommend Anna to anyone looking for a reliable and caring cat sitter.
