“Bernard stayed with Angela and Walter for 3 days. It was our first time using Rover for care of our elder dog. They were open to a quick meet and greet too. Their space (indoor and outdoor) is perfect! I was so nervous because Bernard is getting older and has some back end tenderness, loss of balance, and has a specific raw diet. Walter and Angela were super responsive in communication. They followed his raw diet plan and B's walking and bathroom times. Forested walking trails are nearby and it is helpful for him to use his nose. They adhered to his feedings, sent pics and had this wonderful enthusiasm for Bernard. This was a good sign because at one point in his life Bernard was so shy and reactive with strangers. The 2nd time we asked Walter and Angela was just for a single day/night while fire alarm testing happened in our apt complex. It was a last minute thing. They were available and excited to see him. When we came over, Bernard immediately ran to them both, sidled up to them, and went into the house. It was so cool. So endearing. I knew he was in the right hands.”

“To go with his calming demeanor, Kamil is incredibly knowledgeable about cats. Miso got diarrhea at one point, and he mixed pumpkin with some of Miso's treats. Lexy was very accommodating of the development and was happy to administer medication, even making an extra visit to fit a cone so our cat wasn't able to scratch at it, and picking up some additional medication during our time away. I grew up with a pet cat at home and I am very experienced in taking care of pets (always helping my friends with their cats/dogs), the longest pet sitting I have ever had was with a cat for two months. My schedule is flexible, please don't hesitate to let me know when you are in need! I am currently working part time Monday, Tuesday, and Saturday and at home all day on the other days. I’m very flexible on my schedule and time for pet care. I live in a basement with one roommate and the house has a big backyard. About: Hi, I’m Lexy, a pet-lover who has a sweet 5-year-old kitty named Frankie! I grew up taking care of dogs, cats, horses, goats, and chickens, so I have a full range of caregiving experience including medication. I treat all pets as if they were my own and would love to befriend your dog or cat! I have a very flexible work schedule which allows me to check in on your pet anytime, day or night! When pet sitting, I try to keep my weekends open so I’m fully available. I am always alert and aware when caring for pets, so no need to worry about accidents due to negligence! I try to keep their routine as regular as possible to limit stress and ensure your pet is comfortable and happy!
About: I worked for about 2 years in a dog daycare, so I’m used to being around different types of dogs and handling them safely in busy environments. I also helped with dog rescues back in Colombia, where I fostered dogs and supported organizations that care for stray animals. That experience taught me a lot about patience and understanding dogs with different personalities. I really just love being around animals and making sure they feel safe and cared for Right now I have a flexible schedule, so I’m available most days for walks and drop-in visits. I’m reliable and can adapt to your pet’s routine, and I’d love to make caring for dogs part of my daily life. I currently live in a rental where pets aren’t allowed, so I don’t offer care in my home. However, I’m happy to provide dog walking and drop-in visits in your home.

“Bernard stayed with Angela and Walter for 3 days. It was our first time using Rover for care of our elder dog. They were open to a quick meet and greet too. Their space (indoor and outdoor) is perfect! I was so nervous because Bernard is getting older and has some back end tenderness, loss of balance, and has a specific raw diet. Walter and Angela were super responsive in communication. They followed his raw diet plan and B's walking and bathroom times. Forested walking trails are nearby and it is helpful for him to use his nose. They adhered to his feedings, sent pics and had this wonderful enthusiasm for Bernard. This was a good sign because at one point in his life Bernard was so shy and reactive with strangers. The 2nd time we asked Walter and Angela was just for a single day/night while fire alarm testing happened in our apt complex. It was a last minute thing. They were available and excited to see him. When we came over, Bernard immediately ran to them both, sidled up to them, and went into the house. It was so cool. So endearing. I knew he was in the right hands.”
