Nothing brings a smile to my face like a happy dog. I’ve taken care of all types of dogs- high energy puppies, anxious miss-their-person pups, elderly dogs- and I love every single one. I have lots of patience and energy to keep up with play and training. I’m good with dogs who don’t like other dogs and I know how to navigate any situation upon meeting a new friend.

I can’t recommend Aneeka enough as a dog walker! 🐾 she have been absolutely wonderful with our dog Buddy—always reliable, caring, and so attentive. We are so happy we found Anneka to take our dog Melody while we were away on vacation. Schedule
I work most weeks Monday - Thursday so I’m primarily available on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. On those days, I’m available anytime of the day, rain or shine! Some dogs LOVE to roll around in the mud. If your pet requires extensive clean up after the walk (more than just some muddy paws) and you are not able to clean them up, I will be returning from the walk a bit earlier to make sure their cleaning fits into the allotted time.

Safety, trust & environment
Your pet’s safety and your comfort is of paramount concern for me. I’m happy to walk your dog on the street or at your park of choice, wherever you are most comfortable and wherever they will thrive the most. I live in a detached home that I own, so it’s obviously pet friendly! I have a fenced backyard and a dog-proofed interior. I do not currently have any pets myself and your visiting pet will always be the only pet in the house so that I am able to provide your furry friend with all of the love and affection they desire. We will also go on multiple walks each day during their stay! If I will be transporting your pet, please know that I have a safe and pet friendly car and a perfect driving record.
A typical day
Spending time with dogs is one of my favourite things to do. I know that while we humans experience the world with sight, they experience the world by smell. I am so happy to go on a sniffari (safari for sniffing), to go to the (often empty) fenced dog park near my home to throw a stick or ball or to go explore any park they love or that may be interesting to them. I love making little enrichment games for them by tying treats up in a towel or blanket. I love to encourage them to work on their tricks and to be on their best behaviour!
