Pet care experience
Mother-Daughter Pet-Loving Duo
We have many years of pet-sitting experience. We have looked after numerous friends and neighbours animals over the years, both in their homes and ours. We have also been foster parents for the Coquitlam Animal Shelter for 10+ years. This has included having kittens born in our home and caring for them for several months after. The eldest of our own pets has recently passed and we are excited to have animals in our home again.

Rocky had a peaceful and pleasant stay with Lauren & Keja& I’m sure would be happy to return sometime. They were both lovely to talk with and truly enjoy their time loving on fur babies. 🙂
Lauren took great care of my dogs during their stay. They came home happy and tired. Lauren was on top of their feeding schedule and worked hard to tire them out. I appreciated the pictures sent.
Lauren and Keja were absolutely incredible with my little pup, Ida, while I was on vacation. Ida got her own vacation - filled with long walks, snuggles and tons of time hanging out in their spacious backyard! I never once had the slightest worry while Ida was in their care. They were so understanding of Ida's quirks, super responsive and flexible - and overall, just lovely people!!

Keja and Lauren were great! They took great care of Sparky while we were away in Japan. We were kept in the loop about how Sparky was doing and Sparky was in great spirits when we returned. All in all a great experience from start to finish. We would definitely recommend them and love to use them again for future trips.
Lauren and Keja were super kind and everything went well! Keja met up with me a couple of times before the house sit. She's easy going and responsible...she followed ALL my notes, and my Murphy and Leo got a lot of TLC. I will be booking again!

Schedule
Between the two of us we are generally out of the home for 6 hrs or less per day on the weekdays and home all weekend.

Safety, trust & environment
We have a large fenced yard and no animals at home. We are able to crate as needed. We are also very happy to walk and exercise as much as needed.
A typical day
I enjoy going for walks and playing in my backyard. We have an assortment of balls and toys however I have found with dogs we have sat in the past that they generally have a few of their own favourites that they bring along. There are many parks close by our house, so we can vary our routine.
