Mother-Daughter Pet-Loving Duo
We have many years of pet-sitting experience. We have looked after numerous friends and neighbours animals over the years, both in their homes and ours. We have also been foster parents for the Coquitlam Animal Shelter for 10+ years. This has included having kittens born in our home and caring for them for several months after. The eldest of our own pets has recently passed and we are excited to have animals in our home again.

Lauren was incredibly accommodating and kindly agreed to look after my 7-year-old Jindo Mix rescue, Bailey, with only two days’ notice due to a family emergency. She is such a caring and thoughtful person and took the time to learn all about Bailey and his needs. Throughout his stay, Lauren kept me updated with regular pictures, videos, and text messages, which gave me great peace of mind during a stressful time. I’m so grateful for the wonderful care and attention she gave Bailey. I would highly recommend Lauren to anyone looking for someone trustworthy, caring, and reliable to look after their furry family member!
Lauren and Keja were very easy to communicate with and responded promptly. Keja stayed with our two cats, was prepared during the meet and greet with questions and confirming our expectations about communication during the trip. The boys did great and we would book again in the future.
Lauren and Keja are fabulous! This is the second time I have left my pup with them while I was traveling and they exceed all expectations! They care for Ida like she is their own. Truly awesome and kind people!
They told me they could take care of my dog, apparently she has a kid my dog doesn’t like. Instead of figuring out there own situation and keeping there word I had to go out of my way half way into my sisters wedding to figure something else out. These people are not qualified to take care of large dogs
Rocky had a peaceful and pleasant stay with Lauren & Keja& I’m sure would be happy to return sometime. They were both lovely to talk with and truly enjoy their time loving on fur babies. 🙂

Schedule
Between the two of us we are generally out of the home for 6 hrs or less per day on the weekdays and home all weekend.

Safety, trust & environment
We have a large fenced yard and no animals at home. We are able to crate as needed. We are also very happy to walk and exercise as much as needed.
A typical day
I enjoy going for walks and playing in my backyard. We have an assortment of balls and toys however I have found with dogs we have sat in the past that they generally have a few of their own favourites that they bring along. There are many parks close by our house, so we can vary our routine.
