About: Dogs and horses have been a huge part of my life. We live an active lifestyle and my animals come everywhere with me. I have a flexible career that I can take my guys with me, lots of socializing (with other dogs), hiking in the forest (across from my property) and an off leash dog beach within minutes. My current dog is very submissive and loves companionship. We just recently lost our older dog at 15 and she’s looking to have company to adventure with. We’ve been fostering puppies through endless pawsibilities and thoroughly enjoy the training aspect as well. We’ve successfully potty trained the last 3 fosters before finding them amazing homes. I have a flexible schedule that allows me to bring my dogs with me to work. In between meetings we do lots of walking and or running on the dykes, playing on farms (with other dogs) and heading to the dog beaches around the lower mainland. The care for your pet will depend on individual needs required. They can be crated at night, or free to roam. Happy to get up in the night to let them outside to pee and happy to tend to dietary restrictions. Your family member will be treated as one of our own.

About: I have had 3 dogs my entire life, and have walked and cared for many of my friends and family’s pets, and many dogs in my community. About: I had a successful positive reinforcement dog training business in Vancouver for several years and now I live in Squamish. I held a CPDT-KA certification which I opted not to renew last year because I no longer teach classes. My own dog is 15 years old and can no longer enjoy a long trail walk with me, so I would like to help other dog owners meet their dogs’ needs. I am also certified in Pet First Aid. I work part time as an EA during the school year and am studying at Capilano University in Squamish to become a teacher. I have a very flexible schedule and the means to travel to do drop ins. I have many years of experience caring for dogs and I love to make them feel calm and happy. I really care about safety and stress management, so I prefer to walk dogs on leash (or a long line) and I usually bring a clicker and a treats so we can build up some positive behaviour.

About: Growing up in rural Scotland, everybody had a dog. Their playful, energetic, loyal and loving nature installed a very special connection in me from a very young age. I’m looking to meet some lovely dogs, and hopefully take them on some lovely walks and hikes! Also very happy to house sit and chill with them, and have them over in my house. I’m currently in Vancouver on a working holiday visa from Scotland. I have a very flexible schedule and only work part time. I live a very active lifestyle. About: Hello, I’m Melissa! I have 12+ years experience working with pets. While I was in university, I supported myself by dog sitting and dog walking. I now have my own dog - a sweet rescue named Cedar. She is occasionally shy with other dogs but does not have any issues with them. We live in the West End, close to great dog parks and beaches. We love to hike, so if your dog stays with me they will get plenty of exercise! I am a teacher who is off for the summer so I have lots of time to spend with your pets. I am available for frequent potty breaks and enjoy doing one longer walk each day. During the school year, I have more availability on long weekends and school breaks. About: I've been caring for dogs my whole life. When my family adopted a grey wolf / German shepherd mix, she became my guardian and best friend (see second photo). I love larger breeds (although teensy lil scaredy dogs are a speciality of mine, too!). I'm the perfect mix of loving and clear, dogs know who's boss. 😎 I am a graphic designer and dance instructor. I work from home most days, sometimes in the evenings and occasionally travel for larger events. My schedule is a bit all over the place, but I'm generally home M-F 9-5. I live in a medium sized apartment with no other pets. We have a large, unfenced yard, and live one block from a dog park. There is room for a crate, but it's my preference to have dogs free roam around with me.

About: I have been 4 years on ROVER now. I have met and cared for so many great dogs & had amazing experience's 🐾💜🐾- Dog in photo is my beloved Odin. He died in 2023 after 14 years by my side. He was my everything. I currently do not belong to any dogs I’ve spent time in Mexico, where I volunteered in a dog rescue. Very rewarding, but difficult experience. I adore dogs though, was happy to help, and hope to go back yearly 🐾 I have raised 5 children to adults, and throughout my life have had many dogs, and cats as well. I am competent in, and have provided care for dogs that require injections, medications and any special needs I have a lot of free time now as kids are grown, I am semi - retired, and can make providing pet care a priority. About: We are Brenden and Brooke. For the past 4 years we have been travelling and professionally stewarding properties around the world. We are commonly contracted with ranches, hobby farms, homesteads and household - some of which hold more than animal/dependant responsibility due to business operations running on the property. Over the years we have developed our service quality and specialized care as a professional couple. While traveling we organize volunteer experiences that increase our skills and knowledge in order to fulfill hosts and their animal's needs. This fuels our travels and we want to bring this lifestyle to Vancouver island as we network around the area. We pour our time an energy to the animals we are caring for, meaning we will be with them as much as possible over the course of our stay. We have lived in 10+ households with animals, with some experiences being up to 2 months. We will care for your animals as you would. We are able to carefully follow complex instructions. A bonus is that we are very active people, and if you would like your animals to get exercise, we are all about it.

About: Avid lover of animals, I have spent summers with horses, been owner of a dog and 2 cats. I have experience with rescue dogs, as I was walking them for a rescue center, back home in Montreal, Quebec.
