About: I’m a West Vancouver dog enthusiast with Pet First Aid certification and hands-on experience caring for dogs of different breeds, sizes, ages, and personalities. While I do not have formal professional dog-walking experience, I have spent years helping care for dogs belonging to family and friends, including energetic dogs, senior dogs, small companion dogs, cautious dogs, and strong protective breeds. I have cared for dogs during family events, vacations, camping trips, walks, and everyday visits. My experience includes taking dogs for multiple walks a day, feeding homemade meals, offering companionship, giving plenty of attention and belly rubs, and helping dogs feel safe and comfortable while their families are busy or away. I’m patient, observant, reliable, and genuinely love spending time with dogs. I understand that every dog has their own routine, comfort level, and personality, and I always aim to provide care that feels calm, affectionate, and trustworthy. Pet care fits naturally into my routine because I currently have a flexible schedule while completing my online interior design studies. I’m based in West Vancouver, so I’m able to offer consistent local support for walks, check-ins, companionship, and care throughout the week. I genuinely enjoy spending time with dogs, so walks and visits feel less like an obligation and more like something I look forward to. I’m able to plan my day around a dog’s needs, whether that means regular walks, feeding routines, playtime, quiet companionship, or making sure they feel comfortable while their family is away. When caring for pets in their home, I follow the owner’s instructions closely, including feeding, walks, potty breaks, medications or special routines if needed, and any house rules. I take time to make sure the pet feels safe, calm, and cared for, whether that means playtime, companionship, belly rubs, or simply keeping them company. I’m respectful of the home, keep things clean and secure, and make sure pets are never rushed or overwhelmed. My goal is to provide reliable, attentive care while keeping their routine as normal and comforting as possible.

About: I’ve been helping my friends’ dogs for past few years. From small to medium sized dogs, I always find ways to have a fun time and take care of them. I have a very flexible schedule that can accommodate to your pet needs! Day or night, weekday or weekend, I can be there to help. I have a car so I can get to where I need to be quickly. I always check for hazards to ensure your pet is safe from endangering itself. I look for possible entries and exits to know where your pet can run off to or hide, ensuring I can keep track of possible scenarios.

About: Previous owner of a reactive rescue pitbull for 10 years, I am very understanding and compassionate with dogs that can be anxious and require patience and space. In addition I have cared, boarded, and walked a variety of family and friends companions throughout the years. You can expect your pet to be spoiled with love and attention! With a varied work schedule I have the ability to be quite accommodating for the needs of others. I am highly active, and stay very local to Squamish. My house consists of a good sized fenced yard, the river is minutes away, with many trails at my access. The home has plenty of natural light, with 2600 square feet of cozy feels.

About: I have grown up with all kinds of dogs. From Rottweilers, Labs, Boxers and Pugs. As an adult I have cared for my own Bichon Poodle mix for 7 years since she was a puppy. As well as my Great Pyrenees mystery mix since a puppy for 4 years. I work at various hours, but hope to make sure to make time for quality care in my available times. Outside of my working schedule and taking care of my own animals, I aim to make time to help provide care when and where needed. All animals are different on how the expect and recieve care. About: I have grown up with dogs my whole life as part of my family. I had my last best friend for 15 wonderful years and sadly had to say goodbye 2 years ago. I am not in a position to care for another dog full time at the moment so am looking to share my love of pets on a temporary basis and help other pet parents. I work permanent over night shifts and am up and about in the afternoons. I am quite active going for walks, runs and bike rides during this free time. About: Hi I'm Fiona! Ever since I was little I was always ready to take care of my neighbours dogs and cats whenever they went on vacation so I have tons of experience caring for dogs of all ages and sizes. Whether that means spending time playing in the lawn, cuddling up on couches, daily check-ins or adventurous walks! I have spent many weeks caring for my best friends two large dogs, one puppy and one senior, my neighbours little energetic fur baby and many more! About: I had a successful positive reinforcement dog training business in Vancouver for several years and now I live in Squamish. I held a CPDT-KA certification which I opted not to renew last year because I no longer teach classes. My own dog is 15 years old and can no longer enjoy a long trail walk with me, so I would like to help other dog owners meet their dogs’ needs. I am also certified in Pet First Aid. I work part time as an EA during the school year and am studying at Capilano University in Squamish to become a teacher. I have a very flexible schedule and the means to travel to do drop ins. I have many years of experience caring for dogs and I love to make them feel calm and happy. I really care about safety and stress management, so I prefer to walk dogs on leash (or a long line) and I usually bring a clicker and a treats so we can build up some positive behaviour.

About: I've been caring for dogs my whole life. When my family adopted a grey wolf / German shepherd mix, she became my guardian and best friend (see second photo). I love larger breeds (although teensy lil scaredy dogs are a speciality of mine, too!). I'm the perfect mix of loving and clear, dogs know who's boss. 😎 I am a graphic designer and dance instructor. I work from home most days, sometimes in the evenings and occasionally travel for larger events. My schedule is a bit all over the place, but I'm generally home M-F 9-5. I live in a medium sized apartment with no other pets. We have a large, unfenced yard, and live one block from a dog park. There is room for a crate, but it's my preference to have dogs free roam around with me.

About: Hello, I’m Melissa! I have 12+ years experience working with pets. While I was in university, I supported myself by dog sitting and dog walking. I now have my own dog - a sweet rescue named Cedar. She is occasionally shy with other dogs but does not have any issues with them. We live in the West End, close to great dog parks and beaches. We love to hike, so if your dog stays with me they will get plenty of exercise! I am a teacher who is off for the summer so I have lots of time to spend with your pets. I am available for frequent potty breaks and enjoy doing one longer walk each day. During the school year, I have more availability on long weekends and school breaks. I am still happy to dogsit during the work week! I live in an apartment close to the dog beach, the seawall, and many parks. I am also available for drop in walks and care.

About: Avid lover of animals, I have spent summers with horses, been owner of a dog and 2 cats. I have experience with rescue dogs, as I was walking them for a rescue center, back home in Montreal, Quebec. Lately, I also took care of my friend’s dog for 7 months (24hrs/24) while she was out of the country. Im happy to call Squamish my new home and I would love to contribute to the community. I work remotely on my computer, for Heart & Stroke Foundation. My schedule is Monday to Friday 7AM to 3h30PM so I am flexible to help you out.
