“Iman was absolutely fantastic with our cats. Even the shyest cat came out to see him. Great communication, punctual and reliable. We will definitely be asking Iman for help again. Do not hesitate to book him for any of your Pet needs. Thank you Iman. Five stars all the way!!!”

About: Serving downtown Vancouver, Kitsilano area. Willing to commute as I do drive also. 🙏🏽 I’ve recently reactivated my account from 2019 while I was living in Kelowna. I currently am back to school studying for my nursing degree and want to lean back into what I love 🐾 🤍🙏🏼 I understand the amount of time it takes with animals and that’s why I am wanting to be in service to our community while I don’t have time to look after them full time while in school. I treat your fur babies as if they were my own. I have had experience with many breeds. Mostly Shepard’s since I was a child. I am very passionate and love all moments with animals. Let’s connect. I’m flexible and available :) My most recent experience have been dog sitting in people’s homes. I am aware of their needs and am able to adapt to instructions you have for your pets. I enjoy taking them out and will do safely. I am experienced with training and raising dogs since I was young. I work as a nurse in the community and overall my passion lies to be of service for people and Animals. If references are needed I would be happy to provide. Let’s connect :) I am currently off from school until I go back in September part time. My plan is to not have many clients but instead few consistent clients that I can be reliable and help w your fur animals. I’m willing to continue to be available as you would need and if it works out with your pets and your specific routine. I would follow the guidance and instructions you would have set for each animal, communicate as needed. I would ask questions if I was unsure or required clarity.
About: Growing up in rural Scotland, everybody had a dog. Their playful, energetic, loyal and loving nature installed a very special connection in me from a very young age. I’m looking to meet some lovely dogs, and hopefully take them on some lovely walks and hikes! Also very happy to house sit and chill with them, and have them over in my house. I’m currently in Vancouver on a working holiday visa from Scotland. I have a very flexible schedule and only work part time. I live a very active lifestyle. I have had my own border collie for over 10 years now. Collies are very high energy dogs so I take him for lots of long walks and hikes. Always up to take a dog on a big walk! Many of my friends have much calmer breeds, so I’m also experienced with much calmer and smaller dogs too.
About: Hello, I’m Melissa! I have 12+ years experience working with pets. While I was in university, I supported myself by dog sitting and dog walking. I now have my own dog - a sweet rescue named Cedar. She is occasionally shy with other dogs but does not have any issues with them. We live in the West End, close to great dog parks and beaches. We love to hike, so if your dog stays with me they will get plenty of exercise! I am a teacher who is off for the summer so I have lots of time to spend with your pets. I am available for frequent potty breaks and enjoy doing one longer walk each day. During the school year, I have more availability on long weekends and school breaks. I am still happy to dogsit during the work week! I live in an apartment close to the dog beach, the seawall, and many parks. I am also available for drop in walks and care.
About: I’ve been helping my friends’ dogs for past few years. From small to medium sized dogs, I always find ways to have a fun time and take care of them. I have a very flexible schedule that can accommodate to your pet needs! Day or night, weekday or weekend, I can be there to help. I have a car so I can get to where I need to be quickly. I always check for hazards to ensure your pet is safe from endangering itself. I look for possible entries and exits to know where your pet can run off to or hide, ensuring I can keep track of possible scenarios.
About: Both my parents grew up with with dogs in Korea, and I had my dog for 14 years in Canada. We've always had a dog in our lives, from newborn to senior. I am working part-time and working from home, and my dad is working at home full-time. There will always be at least one person in the house at all times, 24/7. Safety is our top priority. Because my dad works from home, your pet will have constant supervision and will rarely be left alone. We live in a very safe neighborhood within walking distance of a local veterinary clinic. We can provide unlimited potty breaks in our backyard and send you daily photo updates!
About: I have worked with dogs my whole life. I have dog sat and am comfortable with dogs of all ages sizes, abilities, and temperaments! I’ve handled pet emergencies with calm and purpose. I am totally comfortable with multiple dogs at a time. I also can adapt to any special routine or diet. I had my own dog for 13 years and was often her primary caretaker through thick and thin! I am willing to fit whatever routine you need me to in to my schedule! I would prefer one that works around a 9-5 work schedule, but am totally willing to adapt. I can feed pets, and adjust to any specific diet. I can do long or short walks. I love playing with pets and giving them whatever attention they need. I am also willing to adapt to any training you need set in place. For cats, I am totally willing to clean litter boxes!
“Excellent experience, Pegah took fantastic care of our cat. She was thorough, reliable and communicative, always sending photos and detailed updates. Our cat is very shy/scared around new people and she really warmed to Pegah. We appreciate her kindness and affection in keeping our cat safe and healthy in our absence. 100% would recommend her to care for your pet and we would definitely trust her to care for our cat in the future.”

About: I've been caring for dogs my whole life. When my family adopted a grey wolf / German shepherd mix, she became my guardian and best friend (see second photo). I love larger breeds (although teensy lil scaredy dogs are a speciality of mine, too!). I'm the perfect mix of loving and clear, dogs know who's boss. 😎 I am a graphic designer and dance instructor. I work from home most days, sometimes in the evenings and occasionally travel for larger events. My schedule is a bit all over the place, but I'm generally home M-F 9-5. I live in a medium sized apartment with no other pets. We have a large, unfenced yard, and live one block from a dog park. There is room for a crate, but it's my preference to have dogs free roam around with me.

About: I have had 3 dogs my entire life, and have walked and cared for many of my friends and family’s pets, and many dogs in my community. I am home for the summer from college and am looking for some extra work. I am very flexible during the day, and enjoy staying active. I care for pets by making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for at all times. I always follow the owner’s instructions carefully, including feeding schedules, walks, and routines. I keep a clean and calm environment, and give pets lots of attention and exercise.
About: I had a successful positive reinforcement dog training business in Vancouver for several years and now I live in Squamish. I held a CPDT-KA certification which I opted not to renew last year because I no longer teach classes. My own dog is 15 years old and can no longer enjoy a long trail walk with me, so I would like to help other dog owners meet their dogs’ needs. I am also certified in Pet First Aid. I work part time as an EA during the school year and am studying at Capilano University in Squamish to become a teacher. I have a very flexible schedule and the means to travel to do drop ins. I have many years of experience caring for dogs and I love to make them feel calm and happy. I really care about safety and stress management, so I prefer to walk dogs on leash (or a long line) and I usually bring a clicker and a treats so we can build up some positive behaviour.
About: I’m a West Vancouver dog enthusiast with Pet First Aid certification and hands-on experience caring for dogs of different breeds, sizes, ages, and personalities. While I do not have formal professional dog-walking experience, I have spent years helping care for dogs belonging to family and friends, including energetic dogs, senior dogs, small companion dogs, cautious dogs, and strong protective breeds. I have cared for dogs during family events, vacations, camping trips, walks, and everyday visits. My experience includes taking dogs for multiple walks a day, feeding homemade meals, offering companionship, giving plenty of attention and belly rubs, and helping dogs feel safe and comfortable while their families are busy or away. I’m patient, observant, reliable, and genuinely love spending time with dogs. I understand that every dog has their own routine, comfort level, and personality, and I always aim to provide care that feels calm, affectionate, and trustworthy. Pet care fits naturally into my routine because I currently have a flexible schedule while completing my online interior design studies. I’m based in West Vancouver, so I’m able to offer consistent local support for walks, check-ins, companionship, and care throughout the week. I genuinely enjoy spending time with dogs, so walks and visits feel less like an obligation and more like something I look forward to. I’m able to plan my day around a dog’s needs, whether that means regular walks, feeding routines, playtime, quiet companionship, or making sure they feel comfortable while their family is away. When caring for pets in their home, I follow the owner’s instructions closely, including feeding, walks, potty breaks, medications or special routines if needed, and any house rules. I take time to make sure the pet feels safe, calm, and cared for, whether that means playtime, companionship, belly rubs, or simply keeping them company. I’m respectful of the home, keep things clean and secure, and make sure pets are never rushed or overwhelmed. My goal is to provide reliable, attentive care while keeping their routine as normal and comforting as possible.
About: I have several years of experience caring for dogs and cats of different sizes and personalities. I’m patient, calm, and observant, and I always take time to learn each pet’s routines and preferences. I have experience with puppies, senior pets, and shy animals, and I can provide walks, feeding, litter box cleaning, playtime, and medication under owner instructions. I almost graduate. I only have one course in this semester. Therefore, I have enough time and patience to take care of the dog and cat. Safety is my top priority. I keep dogs on leash during walks unless in a secure enclosed area. I never introduce pets to other animals without permission. I follow all feeding and medication instructions, monitor behavior, and keep clean water available. In the client’s home, I make sure doors and windows are secure and respect house rules. I send regular updates so owners feel confident and informed.
About: I have been taking care of animals since I was 11, starting out my volunteer at an animal welfare centre in Ireland and walking plenty of dogs! I also had a small dog walking business and helped to care for my neighbours and family friends’ dogs. Of course, I also look after my own dog, Oscar who I absolutely adore :) I’m currently working a part time job so I have plenty of time to invest in caring for your pets. I am available both weekdays and weekends and would be happy to accommodate pet owners schedules. Also, more than happy to do early morning walks if that is what your dog requires :) I absolutely love spending time with dogs and would love to keep your dog company and stimulated. I am happy to accommodate whatever your pets needs may be such as long walks, lots of fetch and of course plenty of cuddles :)
About: Pets like cats, rabbits, and other animals are welcome. I volunteered with Pads for six months and fostered shelter animals to help more pets find homes. I have experience caring for dogs, cats, rabbits, fish, and more. I respect pets' emotions and thoughts. Since childhood, I've enjoyed playing with my family's dog and cat and caring for them. Each pet has a unique personality. I love caring for pets and will give them all the love and attention they deserve. My goal is to keep your pet safe, happy, and comfortable. Pets can sense the energy around them, so it’s important for a caregiver to be positive. I love seeing pets happy and healthy, which makes this job fulfilling. 😊❤️ If you're booking for the first time, ask me for the promotion code. I’m free usually every day, 7 days a week😊. I have free time to give your dog company and exercise. I like to jog with the dog. Enjoy delicious food, fun playtime, exercise, soothing massages, cozy cuddles, and of course, important potty breaks and restful nap times! I hope your pet is happy and safe here!

About: I have been 4 years on ROVER now. I have met and cared for so many great dogs & had amazing experience's 🐾💜🐾- Dog in photo is my beloved Odin. He died in 2023 after 14 years by my side. About: My name is Grace and I am here to help you on your pet sitting needs. My ideal preference is drop-ins since I have pets of my own! I work as a RVT so I have lots of experience, and the ability to give meds. I grew up with and work with large dogs, so no dog is too big, and working in this field showed me that I love cats, so I can’t pick, I’m a dog and cat person. Happy to do a 15 minute complimentary meet-up so we can chat and you can get to know me and I can meet your lil stinker! If you see this an you are looking for small pet care (Guinea pigs, hamsters, rats, etc) I would also love to do a daily drop in- message me! My schedule varies each week, so shoot me a message and we can make sure that the date and time works for us both. . I love to do drop ins because pets are the happiest in their own homes. I also like to do the complimentary meet up so that the first time your pet meets me it’s with the owner, so they can see to trust me/I'm not a stranger. Once you find the right match, you can arrange a Meet & Greet to ensure they are a perfect fit for your pet’s personality before confirming.

Whether you’re at the office for the day or travelling for a few nights, a pet sitter can offer poop breaks during a Lions Bay stroll, cleaning the litter box, or making sure your pet has on-time food or water refills. Tip: You can discuss your specific arrangements with a pet sitter on Rover based on what fits you, your pet, and your sitter’s needs. To find what their special skills are, look at the "Skills" and "Pet care experience" sections on their profile.
You can coordinate how much supervision you want directly with your sitter. While every sitter’s schedule varies, here are some examples of supervision by pet care service:
- Boarding or doggy day care: Many sitters can provide frequent companionship because they design their day specifically around the pets in their care or work from home.
- House sitting: Your sitter generally stays in your home for the requested duration, which may include overnight care. They may step out briefly to visit other pet clients, but your home remains their primary base.
- Drop-in visits or dog walking: These can be scheduled in 30- or 60-minute windows (and can be shorter or longer at your request) to help your pet receive dedicated attention and care during those specific times.
Interested in constant or 24/7 care? This service often incurs an additional fee but many sitters are happy to discuss this option with you.
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Lions Bay choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they do not have any disqualifying offences.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a veterinary professional or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means Rover Support will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
