“Pei took wonderful care of Mochi and Chia while we were away, and we couldn’t have asked for a better pet sitter. She was so communicative throughout, sending updates and notes from every visit that gave us total peace of mind. What really stood out was how quickly she connected with both cats, even Chia, who tends to be shy around new people. You could tell Pei was genuinely thoughtful and attentive with them, not just checking a box. We came home knowing our girls had been well loved and looked after the whole time. Highly recommend Pei to anyone looking for a sitter who truly cares!”

“I felt like my kitty Kovu was well cared for by Imogen. She sent me photos and videos and was responsive throughout. Came home and kitty was doing well and all tasks seemed complete. Would book again :)”

“Tania Valentina was a wonderful friend for our cat Vladi. She took great care of him while we were away, and sent us so many lovely photos and updates each day. We would highly recommend!”

About: We are an active couple with experience caring for a wide range of dogs, primarily medium to large breeds. We’re comfortable with multiple dogs, high-energy dogs, dogs in heat, and pets with medications or specific dietary needs. Living in Squamish, we love spending time outdoors and enjoy taking dogs on long walks, hikes, and adventures. Our flexible schedules allow us to provide plenty of attention, exercise, and companionship throughout the day. We take a patient, calm, and positive approach to pet care, focusing on trust, consistency, and making every dog feel safe, comfortable, and at home. Pet care fits very naturally into our routine. Amanda works just five minutes from home, allowing for regular check-ins throughout the day, while Drew is building his company remotely and has the flexibility to work from home. Safety is our priority. We pay close attention to traffic, wildlife, other dogs, and each dog's comfort level when we're out walking or exploring. Off-leash time is only done with the owner's permission and when it's appropriate for the dog's environment. Trust comes from following your instructions and putting your dog's needs first. We take the time to understand each dog's routine and personality so we can provide consistent care. Our goal is to make dogs feel relaxed, loved, and at home by maintaining their usual routines and providing plenty of attention, exercise, and care in a clean and comfortable environment.
About: I’ve spent most of my life surrounded by dogs - big and small - which has translated into an overwhelming love for them. I will care for your dog as if it is my own. I’m a highly active person who loves being outdoors, I’m always either running or hiking! So a high energy dog is no issue for me. I don’t mind getting my hands dirty and have an infinite amount of love to give. My weekly routine is flexible - feel free to reach out for my availability! I am available weekends which means your pets will receive all my energy! I care for pets and your home as if they were my own. I’m very clean, respectful and have a good track record with looking after pets for friends and family.
About: I am 30 years old and live in Squamish full time. With 6 years of experience pet/house sitting in the Sea to Sky, I have developed strong relationships with many dog & cat parents. I miss having a dog of my own, so caring for local pets brings me so much joy. I grew up caring for neighbourhood dogs, volunteering at the SPCA and assisting at vet clinics. This experience in animal care exposed me to dogs with challenging behaviours and taught me what’s needed to keep your dog happy and healthy. I am also very active, and would love to take your dog on runs and trail walks. I am willing to adapt to different pet routines and keep your animal company with house sitting services. I love incorporating training techniques and mental stimulation into your dogs care. I am open to caring for all breeds and sizes as well. I am very organized and responsible as a service provider. Walking, playing with and spending time with your dog are my top priorities! I work from home which allows for flexible time to care for your pet(s) and go for mid-day walks. I am happy to provide 2+ walks a day for active dogs. I will not be able to provide care in my own home, but would be happy to do home visits or housesit while you are away, in addition to daily walks.
“Nicole was amazing, My dog is very shy and nervous, and Nicole was very receptive to instruction and followed them to and now my dog is completely warmed up to her in one visit! Thank you Nicole ❤️”
About: I’ve had dogs my entire life, so caring for animals has always been a natural part of who I am. I don’t have formal training or certifications, but I have years of hands on experience and genuinely love animals. I’m attentive to their individual personalities and needs, and I want every pet in my care to feel safe, comfortable, loved, and at home. For me, it’s less about simply looking after a pet and more about treating them like family. Pet care fits naturally into my routine. I enjoy getting outside for walks and spending time at home with animals, so I’m happy to make time for regular walks, playtime, cuddles, and plenty of downtime. My schedule can vary from week to week, but I’m hoping to care for pets every now and then when it works well with my schedule. I’m also happy to follow each pet’s usual routine and give them the attention and care they’re used to. I treat every pet as an individual and do my best to keep them comfortable and close to their normal routine. I’ll follow their usual feeding, walking, medication, and sleep routines, while giving them lots of attention, playtime, cuddles, and downtime depending on what they enjoy. In my home, I provide a calm, safe, and loving environment where pets can feel comfortable and at home. In a client’s home, I’m respectful of their space and make sure their pet’s routine stays as consistent as possible. I’ll always communicate with the owner and make sure I understand their pet’s needs and preferences before they’re in my care.

About: I have plenty of life experience for my age and love to spend my free time surrounded by animals! Taking care of animals is a passion I plan to make a bigger in my life as I get older:) I am very active in the outdoors and love having a campaign with me to enjoy the nature! I work full time and do my best to spend as much time in nature and love going on hikes. My weekly schedule is very reliable and with the right animals it can be more full! I am a very loving person and would treat a clients home just as my own if not better. I would expect only kindness and will do my best in return.

About: Hello, my name is Hope. I currently live in downtown Squamish and I would love to help you out with your dog or cat. I love making genuine connections with people in the community and look forward to more! I currently work from home and have a flexible schedule to fit in a good long walk, a run or play time with your doggo. if there is anything you need me to be aware of I can try my best to accommodate. My place is ready to welcome your dog.
About: I have experience with my dog and friends dogs. My dog is a friendly 5 year old lab/rotweiller with lots of energy. I have taken care of our friends reactive lab cross for 8 years when they needed drop in care or walks. I also had dogs growing up so have been around dogs my whole life! I’m off work for the summer, so aside from the occasional camping trip I am excited to get out for a walk with your dog! Or drop by and do a quick check in, depending on your needs. My dog can join if your dog is dog friendly, or she can stay at home with my partner if not. I have a toddler who is generally in daycare during the day, but if your dog is ok with kids he may join for a hike! Unfortunately with both a dog and a toddler at home in a small space I am not able to offer care in my home at this time.
About: I grew up with pets. I enjoy going trail running or walking along the dyke with dogs of all breeds. I love animals and am happy to work with you to meet your needs. Happy to host your pet either at mine or at yours, go on a run, hike, or bigger adventure. I am also happy to host your cat, I have a cat myself but he doesn't live with me at the moment. I work a flexible schedule and can even come to your house to work and be with your dog or cat. Happy to discuss and work with your needs. Your pet's safety is very important to me. I want to make you feel comfortable and relaxed when I am taking care of your pet. Whether it's through text and letting you know how things are going, sending pictures, or in the pre-planning phase.
About: I had a successful positive reinforcement dog training business in Vancouver for several years and now I live in Squamish. I held a CPDT-KA certification which I opted not to renew last year because I no longer teach classes. My own dog is 15 years old and can no longer enjoy a long trail walk with me, so I would like to help other dog owners meet their dogs’ needs. I am also certified in Pet First Aid. I work part time as an EA during the school year and am studying at Capilano University in Squamish to become a teacher. I have a very flexible schedule and the means to travel to do drop ins. I have many years of experience caring for dogs and I love to make them feel calm and happy. I really care about safety and stress management, so I prefer to walk dogs on leash (or a long line) and I usually bring a clicker and a treats so we can build up some positive behaviour.
About: I’m a dog lover with a friendly pup, Ollie, who enjoys making new dog friends. Whether you’re skiing in Whistler or away on a trip, I’ll care for your dog like my own—providing plenty of love, attention, and adventures! Ollie gets along great with most dogs, but due to a few past experiences, he’s not the best match with German Shepherds or Huskies. He gets along best with chill dogs that have low/medium energy. As a teacher, I work M-F from 8-4. Your pet would need to be okay being at home during those hours. I can do a short walk before work and a long walk or hike after work. Evenings and weekends are for adventuring with the doggos, either hiking or mountain biking :) I have the summers off, as well as 2 weeks over Christmas and 2 weeks off in March. My house is puppy proof and dog friendly. I will care for your dog like it is my own, and make sure their needs are met. My preference is to board dogs in my own home rather than housesit.

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Squamish
Pei has been reliable and very flexible with our sometimes chaotic scheduling. But better she is super good with oir cat and knows very well how to make the visit with our feline very fun and stimulating for him. Definitely we recommend Pei if you are looking for a pet sitter.

Kitty was great with my two senior cats, I came home to relax and cared for cats. She followed all of my instructions and went above and beyond in cleaning up after the cats , spending time with them and even feeding the birds for me. I would recommend her services to anyone.
Ella was an absolutely amazing cat sitter - I honestly can’t recommend her enough. She took care of my very social kitten, Theo, for a week while I was away, and I think he might miss her more than he missed me! She was super communicative throughout the entire time and sent me really sweet updates and pictures. She was also very respectful of my home and left everything spotless. Most importantly, she gave Theo so much love and attention - making sure he had everything he needed, whether that was food, playtime, or snuggles. They developed such a sweet bond that he would run down the stairs to greet her every day. It gave me so much peace of mind knowing he was in such good hands. I’d trust Ella with Theo again in a heartbeat.
