About: Hi! I'm Tess, an active, animal-loving sitter who works from home during the week, available summer through early fall. I've cared for dogs my whole life (mostly large breeds), fostered both dogs and cats locally and abroad, and even helped housebreak puppies. I live in a townhouse, and my home office sits right behind the garage with direct access to a backyard, so between walks and runs, dogs hang out with me while I work, with constant access to the yard. Whether your pup needs a relaxed walk around the golf course, a run to burn off energy, or a big adventure up the Chief, I'll match their pace. If your dog likes to socialize, I'll make sure to bring them along on walks or runs with friends and their friendly pets. During down time, I'm all about cuddles, playtime, and making sure your pet feels safe and happy. I work from home part-time in the summer and early fall, so I can easily fit in morning, midday, and evening walks or visits. My schedule is flexible, which means I can adjust to your pet’s routine, whether that’s early hikes or lunchtime potty breaks. Pets are always supervised, doors and gates are secure, and outdoor time is safe and leashed. I make sure they have a cozy space to rest, fresh water, and plenty of attention.

“Sierra was incredible with our pup and able to help us out at short notice. She took the time to come and meet him before the sit to give him time to warm up, as he's a little wary of strangers. Some behavioural issues cropped up before his stay with her, but she was able to take everything in her stride, manage his environment to make sure he stayed calm, and was super communicative about everything which helped put my mind at ease. It was clear that he adored her and was in safe hands! Bonus points for managing my escape artist of a cat, too! Can't thank you enough, and Haiku is already looking forward to his next stay :)”

About: I've been taking care of animals since I was a kid, walking dogs, pet sitting, feeding cats and peoples birds. I have also had my own pets since I was 5, including dogs, cats, hamsters, and birds. I take great pride in my genuine love and care for animals, and have been called the "animal whisperer" by many people. I can handle pets that need strict med schedules, particular feeding needs etc. I have a fenced in backyard, so you can be worry free about your dogs. I am happy to pamper them at your house or mine, so I can accommodate many specific needs and their quirky personalities.

About: Grew up on a farm in the UK surrounded by pets! Missing them all very much. Expect an active, patient and caring pet carer here. I’m working for BC wildfire this summer, but will have long weekends where my partner and I I would love to look after your pet. About: I've trained and loved my own dog, and dog sat many more across Canada! Spending time with dogs comes naturally to me, and I think with most, we greatly enjoy being in each other's company :). I would love to spend more time dog-walking since I don't have my own dog currently. I'm enjoy exploring different neighbourhoods, and walking with a dog makes the exploration that much better :)!! I also love meeting fellow dogs and walkers as we go. I'm very attentive to the dog's needs, and am able to carefully follow specific instructions, based on any current medical conditions or preferences. I am also sensitive to how the dog interacts with other animals on walks, and mindfully show respect for the dog, fellow dog walkers, and local wildlife.

About: While cats are my specialty, I love all animals and am comfortable caring for small to medium friendly dogs! I’m happy to do drop in visits, walks, feeding, and companionship throughout the day as needed, however overnights are preferred (for both cats and dogs) because I don’t drive, but also because I know most pets are more comfortable in their own environment. My availability changes weekly due to my job (server at a busy restaurant in DT Squamish), but this also allows for lots of flexibility and extra time to spend with your fur baby! I like to make sure to follow your pets routine and schedule as best as possible! While I cannot have any visits at my place, I’m happy to do drop ins, feedings, walks and overnights at the owners place :)
