Some behavioural issues cropped up before his stay with her, but she was able to take everything in her stride, manage his environment to make sure he stayed calm, and was super communicative about everything which helped put my mind at ease. It was clear that he adored her and was in safe hands! Bonus points for managing my escape artist of a cat, too! Can't thank you enough, and Haiku is already looking forward to his next stay :)”

Off-leash time is only done with the owner's permission and when it's appropriate for the dog's environment. Trust comes from following your instructions and putting your dog's needs first. About: Hi! I'm Tess, an active, animal-loving sitter who works from home during the week, available summer through early fall. I've cared for dogs my whole life (mostly large breeds), fostered both dogs and cats locally and abroad, and even helped housebreak puppies. I live in a townhouse, and my home office sits right behind the garage with direct access to a backyard, so between walks and runs, dogs hang out with me while I work, with constant access to the yard. Whether your pup needs a relaxed walk around the golf course, a run to burn off energy, or a big adventure up the Chief, I'll match their pace. About: I have grown up surrounded by furry companions (dogs,cats,farm animals) and love every minute of it. Life without a dog or animal for me is an unknown. I’ve taken care of puppies, senior dogs, active dogs and all kinds of dog breeds from small to large and find the joy in each of them. Whether your dog has a quirk or a perk, it’s not too much for me. I will love and care for them as my own and my home has no boundaries for them because I want them to feel as comfortable as they would at their own home. Whether they need training reinforced, walks, runs, forest immersions, swims or just downtime, we’ll take good care of them. My miniature longhaired daschund is my home companion. He is gentle, playful and sweet with any and all other dogs. He knows when to avoid senior dogs and to engage with puppies. I appreciate and love this intuitive nature most about him. With us your dog will be in loving hands. I work from home and have a flexible work schedule which makes play time, company and walks easy. I also have a little fenced yard that is accessible to them during the day for some needed supervised outdoor play time. A nature trail is right in front of my home and forest walks are an easy 5min drive to access. I am available and hands on during the day. Your pup will be in good care and company daily. I have a ground level home with fenced yard to play in and one miniature longhaired daschund to keep your baby company whether to play or just to relax with. My home will be home to your pet and I will treat them as my own. For house sittings, Fynn (my dog) and I will be respectful and take utmost care to look after your belongings and pup. You can relax and rest assured that your home and pup are in capable, loving and caring hands.

About: I've trained and loved my own dog, and dog sat many more across Canada! Spending time with dogs comes naturally to me, and I think with most, we greatly enjoy being in each other's company :). I would love to spend more time dog-walking since I don't have my own dog currently. I'm enjoy exploring different neighbourhoods, and walking with a dog makes the exploration that much better :)!! I also love meeting fellow dogs and walkers as we go. I'm very attentive to the dog's needs, and am able to carefully follow specific instructions, based on any current medical conditions or preferences.
