“Tania Valentina was an excellent caregiver for Michi—we feel so lucky to have found her. She has a calming, loving way that made our cat feel safe and relaxed. She’s also responsive, incredibly reliable, and clearly knowledgeable about pets, which gave us great peace of mind while we were away. We couldn’t have asked for a better care sitter and would happily have her look after Michi again.”

“Monika was great with our two dogs. We really appreciated her daily check-ins, and she was very responsive and mindful of the instructions we left. Highly recommended! Will rebook in the future :)”

“Linley took great care of Dodam, including giving his meds in a timely manner, as well as our home. She sent regular updates and made us feel at ease being gone two weeks. We'd strongly recommend her and would love to book her for our next trips 😄”

“We couldn’t be happier with the care and attention Nic provided while looking after our home and our beloved dog. Her communication was excellent; she kept us updated with regular messages and photos, which gave us great peace of mind. Our dog was well cared for and content when we returned. The house was in perfect order, maybe even cleaner than we left it. We highly recommend Nic for anyone needing a responsible and caring house and pet sitter!”

“Cindy is my life saver! I have two dogs that require timed medication. Leaving them for work travel is a bit nerve wrecking but after the first night I knew they were in the best possible hands. Highly recommend!! Lots of pictures and updates. ❤️❤️”

“Sierra took excellent care of Rocket! She messaged me lots of updates and photos which was so great to see as it was her first time hanging out with our boy. The week went smoothly and coming home the house was very clean and Rocket was happy, clearly having a good week with Sierra while we were away! Would certainly book with her again.”

“Elise was lovely taking care of our dog at home for a day. She was easy to communicate with, arrived right on time and updated us with cute pictures. Would definitely book again 🙂 Thank you very much!”

About: We are an active couple with experience caring for a wide range of dogs, primarily medium to large breeds. We’re comfortable with multiple dogs, high-energy dogs, dogs in heat, and pets with medications or specific dietary needs. Living in Squamish, we love spending time outdoors and enjoy taking dogs on long walks, hikes, and adventures. Our flexible schedules allow us to provide plenty of attention, exercise, and companionship throughout the day. We take a patient, calm, and positive approach to pet care, focusing on trust, consistency, and making every dog feel safe, comfortable, and at home. Pet care fits very naturally into our routine. Amanda works just five minutes from home, allowing for regular check-ins throughout the day, while Drew is building his company remotely and has the flexibility to work from home. Safety is our priority. We pay close attention to traffic, wildlife, other dogs, and each dog's comfort level when we're out walking or exploring. Off-leash time is only done with the owner's permission and when it's appropriate for the dog's environment. Trust comes from following your instructions and putting your dog's needs first. We take the time to understand each dog's routine and personality so we can provide consistent care. Our goal is to make dogs feel relaxed, loved, and at home by maintaining their usual routines and providing plenty of attention, exercise, and care in a clean and comfortable environment.
“Isabelle was AMAZING. First time using rover for my collie and she took such a great care of him, she went above and beyond. Would highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone caring & trust worthy. She also kept our place very clean and we are very happy our experience. Thank you Isabelle - Oakley, Kayte, Shane, Casper 💖”

“Melodie was responsive and flexible to meet our dog needs. Bonnie is an anxious dog and with melodie giving me updates continuously throughout our time away I felt less guilty about being away! Thank you melodie!”

“Sara and her partner did an amazing job taking care of my dog while I was away! They also accommodated me pretty last minute which I appreciated. Sara was great with communication, sending pics and following the info I gave her about my dog. I definitely recommend!”

About: I have grown up surrounded by furry companions (dogs, cats, farm animals) and love every minute of it. Life without a dog or animal for me is an unknown. I’ve taken care of puppies, senior dogs, active dogs and all kinds of dog breeds from small to large and find the joy in each of them. Whether your dog has a quirk or a perk, it’s not too much for me. I will love and care for them as my own and my home has no boundaries for them because I want them to feel as comfortable as they would at their own home. Whether they need training reinforced, walks, runs, forest immersions, swims or just downtime, we’ll take good care of them. My miniature longhaired daschund is my home companion. He is gentle, playful and sweet with any and all other dogs. He knows when to avoid senior dogs and to engage with puppies. I appreciate and love this intuitive nature most about him. With us your dog will be in loving hands. I work from home and have a flexible work schedule which makes play time, company and walks easy. I also have a little fenced yard that is accessible to them during the day for some needed supervised outdoor play time. A nature trail is right in front of my home and forest walks are an easy 5min drive to access. I am available and hands on during the day. Your pup will be in good care and company daily. I have a ground level home with fenced yard to play in and one miniature longhaired daschund to keep your baby company whether to play or just to relax with. My home will be home to your pet and I will treat them as my own. For house sittings, Fynn (my dog) and I will be respectful and take utmost care to look after your belongings and pup. You can relax and rest assured that your home and pup are in capable, loving and caring hands.
About: Previous owner of a reactive rescue pitbull for 10 years, I am very understanding and compassionate with dogs that can be anxious and require patience and space. In addition myself and Riley have cared, boarded, and walked a variety of family and friends companions throughout the years. You can expect your pet to be spoiled with love and attention! Our home is safe & secure. With a varied work schedule we have the ability to be quite accommodating for the needs of others. Myself and Riley are highly active, and stay very local to Squamish. The home consists fully fenced yard, the river is minutes away, with many trails at my access. The home has plenty of natural light, with 2600 square feet of cozy feels, offering relaxing vibes for day care and boarding needs. We provide actual space for your pet to feel safe and comfortable unlike many Rover sitters who only have a condo and small townhome strata rules.
About: Hi! I'm Tess, an active, animal-loving sitter who works from home during the week, available summer through early fall. I've cared for dogs my whole life (mostly large breeds), fostered both dogs and cats locally and abroad, and even helped housebreak puppies. I live in a townhouse, and my home office sits right behind the garage with direct access to a backyard, so between walks and runs, dogs hang out with me while I work, with constant access to the yard. Whether your pup needs a relaxed walk around the golf course, a run to burn off energy, or a big adventure up the Chief, I'll match their pace. If your dog likes to socialize, I'll make sure to bring them along on walks or runs with friends and their friendly pets. During down time, I'm all about cuddles, playtime, and making sure your pet feels safe and happy. I work from home part-time in the summer and early fall, so I can easily fit in morning, midday, and evening walks or visits. My schedule is flexible, which means I can adjust to your pet’s routine, whether that’s early hikes or lunchtime potty breaks. Pets are always supervised, doors and gates are secure, and outdoor time is safe and leashed. I make sure they have a cozy space to rest, fresh water, and plenty of attention.
About: While cats are my specialty, I love all animals and am comfortable caring for small to medium friendly dogs! I’m happy to do drop in visits, walks, feeding, and companionship throughout the day as needed, however overnights are preferred (for both cats and dogs) because I don’t drive, but also because I know most pets are more comfortable in their own environment. My availability changes weekly due to my job (server at a busy restaurant in DT Squamish), but this also allows for lots of flexibility and extra time to spend with your fur baby! I like to make sure to follow your pets routine and schedule as best as possible! While I cannot have any visits at my place, I’m happy to do drop ins, feedings, walks and overnights at the owners place :)
“Hayley took the the time to learn all about Sitka before the pet sitting. She took him to his favorite trails rain or shine and sent lots of photos of him throughout the days. It was so nice to see what he got up to and to know she was there with him while we were away. Haylee also took great care of our home and helped with parcels, recycling bins etc.”

The median cost per night for house sitting in Squamish is $55

We couldn’t have asked for a better caretaker for our senior dog, Zack! Zack is reactive toward other dogs, so it’s incredibly important that he’s with someone responsible and reliable who understands his needs and makes sure he isn’t put in situations where a dog-to-dog interaction could happen. William was absolutely fantastic. He took such great care of Zack during our 10-day trip, followed his needs carefully, and gave us complete peace of mind while we were away. We also really appreciated the regular photos and updates throughout our trip—it was so reassuring to see Zack happy, comfortable, and well cared for. William was dependable, thoughtful, and clearly cared about Zack’s well-being. We would absolutely trust him with Zack again and would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a responsible and caring dog sitter.
I would give Tom 10 stars if I could! He truly went above & beyond in the care, effort & attention he gave to our German Shepherd, Oso, and our home. We arrived back from a week-long trip to an immaculate home, a very happy dog & even homemade muffins waiting for us! Tom’s communication was phenomenal throughout our trip, with thoughtful daily updates & photos that gave us so much peace of mind. He was incredibly attentive to Oso’s care, including administering his supplements, and was confident and capable in handling his sometimes unpredictable reactivity on walks…which was especially important to us. We are so grateful for Tom, his kind & pleasant demeanour, and the level of care he put into everything. We wouldn’t hesitate to have him care for Oso again & would highly recommend his services!

I have never used Rover before and am very happy with everything. It was easy to use, the responses were quick and we ended up with a wonderful dog sitter. She came before the visit to meet us and the dog and posted how things were going while we were away. I’d highly recommend Rover and especially Coranne.

Tania was fantastic at caring for our home, dog, and cat during our recent vacation. We highly recommend her to anyone needing someone to look after their home and pets. She communicated well, sending us multiple photos of our animals daily. Tania is friendly, professional, and clearly very dedicated to her work. She was incredibly respectful of our home, and upon our return everything was exactly as we left it. We’ll definitely use her services again.

Ruby took great care of Gus and my home while I was away. She sent regular photos and updates, which made it easy for m bye to relax and enjoy my trip. It was clear Gus settled in well with her and was very comfortable—he looked like one happy camper. I came home to a clean and tidy house, with bedding washed and folded. I really appreciated her communication and the care she showed throughout the stay. I would happily book Ruby again and would recommend her to others looking for a reliable and thoughtful sitter.

I don't think there is a better cat sitter out there! Pei pays such attention to detail. We got a detailed update every day with photos and videos of Walter playing. She even brought toys for him to play with. We would love to have her take care of Walter when we go away in the future.

Nicola came highly recommended by a friend who had used her dog sitting services several times already. She took great care of the pups and house. She sent frequent (adorable!) updates, and the dogs seemed super happy. We came back to the house in great shape. Would definitely have Nicola dog sit again and definitely would recommend.

We were nervous about leaving our pups with Danica (and her partner Jim) as they had never been without us before, and one of our dogs can be challenging to manage (can be reactive, high energy, not keen on having strangers pet her). Danica and Jim patiently won her over and did a great job ensuring both dogs were safe and happy. They kept us updated, and it was wonderful to see the dogs having a good time. Highly recommend!

Monika stayed at our home to pet sit our two dogs while we were away travelling. She was very responsive, sent us a message and photos each day, and followed the instructions we left. She was a respectful guest and we came back to two happy dogs. We were grateful for her care and were able to enjoy our vacation without any worries. We look forward to having Monika sit our dogs again in the future.

I can't express how wonderful Cindy was for us. She was set to look after two of our dogs, but the night before the booking started, one of our dogs died. We still had to go and Cindy not only helped us transition, but she was an unbelievable friend to our other dog. We can't thanks Cindy enough. Highly recommend her. Wonderful human and fur family friend. This.

Frédérique is a great dog sitter. She was very responsive and communicated with us throughout the overnight stay. She was clear about her availability and followed our instructions. She went out of her way to ensure the dogs got two solid outings. Despite having to leave for work early in the morning, she still went out of her way to walk the dogs down to the river for a dip. We are so grateful for her care and look forward to rebooking with her in the future.
