About: Hi! I'm Tess, an active, animal-loving sitter who works from home during the week, available summer through early fall. I've cared for dogs my whole life (mostly large breeds), fostered both dogs and cats locally and abroad, and even helped housebreak puppies. I live in a townhouse, and my home office sits right behind the garage with direct access to a backyard, so between walks and runs, dogs hang out with me while I work, with constant access to the yard. Whether your pup needs a relaxed walk around the golf course, a run to burn off energy, or a big adventure up the Chief, I'll match their pace. If your dog likes to socialize, I'll make sure to bring them along on walks or runs with friends and their friendly pets. During down time, I'm all about cuddles, playtime, and making sure your pet feels safe and happy. I work from home part-time in the summer and early fall, so I can easily fit in morning, midday, and evening walks or visits. My schedule is flexible, which means I can adjust to your pet’s routine, whether that’s early hikes or lunchtime potty breaks. About: I have always been a go to for friends, family and colleagues for their pet care needs. I am familiar with in house care, multi day care and of course the casual dog walk. I have some experience with more reactive dogs as well as old and young dogs. Looking after dogs is something a really enjoy, for both the ease for the owner as well as enjoying and hanging out with the happy little friends. Fitting dog care into my week mixes up my routine and generally gets me outside more than not. I have a two bedroom ground level apartment with great access to street walking, field walking and forest walking. I am also familiar with the Squamish area, as well as having my own transport, making it easy for me to stay where needed for the dog care.

About: My previous room-mate was a veterinary technician, and I frequently watched and walked her animals while she was away. I’ve been around and loved animals my whole life and am very comfortable around them. I often watch and walk friends dogs! My life doesn’t allow me to have a dog of my own currently, and it brings me great joy to help out in this way! I am looking for longer stays (2-3 days or more). I have a lot of flexibility in my schedule if notice is given. I will be commuting from out of town. :) I love spending time with animals, including getting them out of the house on adventures, to new parks for them to experiance new and interesting environments, or taking them to parks they are comfortable with and love. I also love spending time with them in the home, while giving them lots of time and attention!

I’m working for BC wildfire this summer, but will have long weekends where my partner and I I would love to look after your pet. About: I have had dogs on and off my entire life. I adopted an older dog in my twenties who had severe arthritis and cared for him until his final days. This gave me hands-on experience with senior care and medication administration. I have house sat for my family and friend’s dogs throughout the years and given the dogs medication whenever it was needed. I have also been on many walks, runs and hikes with dogs and am able to handle high-energy dogs. My partner and I currently own a dog who is anxious and has some separation anxiety, and so I have a lot of patience and can handle more nervous/anxious dogs. Because of his anxiousness we are almost always with him and have a very homebody lifestyles with tons of positive reinforcement and desensitization techniques. I work as a flight attendant Monday to Wednesday's, and the rest of the time I am home. Whenever I am home I am fully available for pet sitting, dog walking and house drop ins. I mostly spend my days off going for long walks along the seawall, running, camping and enjoying time at home with my dog. I have a very flexible schedule with a lot of time off so it allows me to be fully present for any dog care. I currently live in an apartment in Fairview with easy access to the outdoors. There is a dog park about 10 minutes away from my place along with the seawall for walks. I live in a quiet neighbourhood that is very dog friendly. There is a vet at a 10 minute walk if ever it was needed.

About: I’m a lifelong animal lover with experience caring for pets of all kinds, including cats, dogs, rabbits, guinea pigs, snakes, lizards, ferrets, and fish. I currently have a 4 year old husky, a 14 year old orange cat, a 2 year old black cat, and I’ve always grown up with pets! I worked at Bosley’s, giving me hands-on experience with pet care, and I do pet and home sitting frequently. I enjoy jogging, hiking, and walks with dogs, and I’m clean, responsible, and first-aid trained with over 10 years as a lifeguard. With me, your pets will be loved, safe, and well cared for while you’re away. I have a very open schedule and plenty of time to devote to pets. I can provide daily walks, playtime, feeding, and overnight stays if needed. Your pets will receive consistent attention, care, and companionship from me throughout their stay. I do not leave pets in my care alone for longer than four hours, ensuring they have regular supervision, comfort, and support while you are away.
