“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We couldn’t have asked for a better first boarding experience for Paco! This was his first time ever being away from us for 3 nights, and Lara made the entire experience so much easier. Paco was happy, well cared for, and absolutely loved his walks. One thing that meant a lot to us was knowing that Lara let Paco cuddle up with her at night, helping him feel safe and comfortable while away from home. Lara was also very accommodating when we wanted to visit him and take him out for a few hours during his stay. We’re so grateful for the love, care, and attention Lara gave Paco. We would absolutely trust her with him again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring and reliable dog sitter! 🐾❤️”

About: I have had 3 dogs my entire life, and have walked and cared for many of my friends and family’s pets, and many dogs in my community. I am home for the summer from college and am looking for some extra work. I am very flexible during the day, and enjoy staying active. I care for pets by making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for at all times. I always follow the owner’s instructions carefully, including feeding schedules, walks, and routines. I keep a clean and calm environment, and give pets lots of attention and exercise.
About: I had a successful positive reinforcement dog training business in Vancouver for several years and now I live in Squamish. I held a CPDT-KA certification which I opted not to renew last year because I no longer teach classes. My own dog is 15 years old and can no longer enjoy a long trail walk with me, so I would like to help other dog owners meet their dogs’ needs. I am also certified in Pet First Aid. I work part time as an EA during the school year and am studying at Capilano University in Squamish to become a teacher. I have a very flexible schedule and the means to travel to do drop ins. I have many years of experience caring for dogs and I love to make them feel calm and happy. I really care about safety and stress management, so I prefer to walk dogs on leash (or a long line) and I usually bring a clicker and a treats so we can build up some positive behaviour.

About: I’ve loved and cared for cats for as long as I can remember. Growing up with cats taught me to understand their unique personalities, respect their boundaries, and appreciate the companionship they bring :) I help them feel comfortable, safe, and loved while you’re away ❤️

“Feena has pet sit for us twice now and puts our mind at ease with our senior cat (previously cats). She’s able to administer medication and really makes us feel comfortable when we do have to leave our girl.”

I’m looking to meet some lovely dogs, and hopefully take them on some lovely walks and hikes! Also very happy to house sit and chill with them, and have them over in my house. I’m currently in Vancouver on a working holiday visa from Scotland. I have a very flexible schedule and only work part time. I live a very active lifestyle. I have had my own border collie for over 10 years now. Collies are very high energy dogs so I take him for lots of long walks and hikes. Always up to take a dog on a big walk! Many of my friends have much calmer breeds, so I’m also experienced with much calmer and smaller dogs too.

“I left my pup with them for her very first time. Jennifer was very communicative throughout her stay. I received tons of updates, along with photos and videos. I highly recommend them to anyone.”

“I've used Guy for lengthy day care and will be using him for overnights as well. Guy and his partner were great and treated my dog as a member of their family. I have a Staffy X rescue who's had a rough start and although he may look scary to some he's a very sweet dog. He is anxious and somewhat reactive (we're working on it), but Guy knew what to do and how to make him feel secure while I was away. The peace of mind having someone reliable, knowledgeable and caring to look after your animal is invaluable. Definitely recommend Guy!”

Such a blessing to have found Nazanin, our girl always comes home happy and sleepy. She always sends us picture updates which gives us a smile during the work day. I take time to make sure the pet feels safe, calm, and cared for, whether that means playtime, companionship, belly rubs, or simply keeping them company. I’m respectful of the home, keep things clean and secure, and make sure pets are never rushed or overwhelmed. My goal is to provide reliable, attentive care while keeping their routine as normal and comforting as possible.

I'm very respectful of other people's homes since it's a privileged to be invited into someone else's space. I also take into consideration that, like people, every animal has its own personality and needs which I'm here to tend to.

About: Hello, my name is Krista, I am 25 years old and a lover of animals! I grew up in the West End in a non pet-friendly building and had always dreamed of loving an animal of my own. Now as an adult, I am the proud Mom of my sweet pup Bouchka, who I adopted six years ago! She has brought me so much joy and greatly grown my affinity towards animals. Bouchka has recently been diagnosed with cancer and due to this I have become very familiar caring for disabled dogs. Although Bouchka has rebounded well, she does not have quite as much energy as she did previously for our long walks - which I've been missing dearly. I would love to share my love of walks with your lovely pups and give them the best care as we explore this beautiful city. In addition to caring for Bouchka I also have experience caring for animals of friends and family while they have been out of town. Thank you for taking the time to read this and I look forward to getting a chance to meet your sweet dogs!

Whether that means spending time playing in the lawn, cuddling up on couches, daily check-ins or adventurous walks! I have spent many weeks caring for my best friends two large dogs, one puppy and one senior, my neighbours little energetic fur baby and many more! I am currently a university student enjoying my summer break! I am available anytime from Monday to Sunday to care for your adorable dogs or cats! I love running around parks and playing fetch, going on slow leisurely walks through the park or giving really good belly rubs and scratches. I love an energetic little pal or a leisurely paced senior!

“Left my rambunctious rescue Ruby with them overnight, smooth sailing, they kept me updated with photos from time to time, definitely will book again in the future.”

“We had great experience booking with Allison, she was very responsive, kept us updated throughout the stay, and sent lots of pictures, which we really appreciated. Communication was excellent and gave us peace of mind the entire time. We highly recommend her to anyone!”

“Tosha was fabulous, caring for our choc lab Beau for 10 days. She took him on the most epic forest walks, and I can tell he had a great time with the pack. Tosha kept us updated with lots of cute pictures. She is truly a dog lover and I would trust having Beau stay with her again. Thanks Tosha!”

“Maya had a great time with Maria and Gabriel. We can tell she is comfortable with them right away. They sent updates and pics, and communication was fast and easy!”

“Brittany looked after our two dogs over Christmas and she did an excellent job! She gave us tons of updates and photos, and it was very obvious that they got lots of walks and outside time, plus cuddles and relaxation indoors. We never felt worried about them while away which was so great, we could fully enjoy our holiday. We would definitely book with her again and fully recommend her to anyone else!”

“Remi had so much fun with Zaid! I really appreciated getting updates on how she was doing and what she was up to throughout her stay. Zaid is very communicative and fantastic, I know that whenever I drop Remi off, I can trust that she’ll have a wonderful time. Will always recommend!”

“Rannah and Franki were absolutely amazing, so caring, thoughtful and really caring for Toby ! They kept a great schedule of exercise, playtime, feeding and breaks !! Loved the regular detailed notes, pictures and videos! Toby had loads of fun with and their sweet dog !! He was so happy and relaxed ! We’re very comfortable leaving our high energy guy with them. We plan to leave Toby with them for an extended period of about 17 days in February while we’re out of the country!! Rabnah and Franki are honest, professional, caring and responsible!”

“You know your dog enjoys the sitter when she watches them walk away and won't move. Taenelle and Andrew were great housemates for Remy! Remy enjoyed hanging out with Andrew as he worked from home, I think she kept him on track and ensured he wasn't slacking off :-) I would highly recommend Taenelle and Andrew to look after you fur baby. You can tell they really enjoy spending time with dogs, they both were very communicative, and were so very welcoming when Remy and I went for a visit before boarding her. I will certainly use them again to look after Remy when I am away.”

“Jessica was incredibly caring, patient, and understanding with our shy dog, Sawyer. She knew exactly how to help him feel comfortable and at home during his overnight stay. Sawyer got lots of exercise, had a great time playing, and came home happy and relaxed. Jessica also sent us photos and updates throughout his stay, which we really appreciated and made us feel at ease. I would highly recommend Jessica to anyone looking for someone trustworthy to care for their furry family member!”

“Sidney was amazing. Oslo took to her from the moment they met. She was very accommodating. I was delayed on my return from Kelowna and while I was stressing about it she kept reassuring me that it was fine. When I picked Oslo up, not only did I return to a happy boy, but he seemed to have charmed the entire family as I met Sidney's family who were clearly spoiling him with love. I recommend Sidney to anyone that is looking for kind and thoughtful caregiver to your fur baby.”

“Loved Heather! She took such good care of my girl and treated her like one of the family. My dog felt so comfortable with them. Lovely photo updates of a very unphotogenic dog. Couldn't be happier.”

“I can’t recommend Angela enough! She took such amazing care of my dog and made the whole experience feel easy and stress-free. It was clear right away how kind, attentive, and experienced her and her family are, and I really appreciated the communication, updates, and photos while I was away. My dog seemed so happy, comfortable, and well taken care of. It was really lovely knowing my dog was around Angela and her family — you can tell there’s a lot of care and positive energy in that environment. I would absolutely book with Angela again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone trustworthy, kind, and genuinely caring.”

“Thank you for taking such amazing care of our dogs. We know that they are in such a good care when they are in your hands. We received daily updates of our dogs having a great time with Coco. We plan on boarding them again soon.”

“100% Recommend! Ariel is so easy to communicate with and sends multiple updates throughout the day. She went above and beyond to even hand feed Enzo when he was in a mood (on multiple days). Thank you so much, Ariel ^^”

“Ana Paula was great with my dog Ollie. She took him on lots of walks, hikes and park time. And she kept me informed with regular photos/videos/updates for the whole stay:)”

About: I love dogs. I grew up surrounded by dogs — my grandparents owned dogs, my family owned dogs, my extended family all have dogs. I have owned and/or lived with multiple dogs: Miniature Pinscher, Yorkshire Terrier, Belgian Mallinois, German Shepherd, Golden Retriever, Standard Poodle and Beagle. However, since moving back to Vancouver (in 2025), I have not able to commit to having a dog in my life, full time. Sad. As such, your dog (or dogs) will have my undivided care and affection. — I prefer to follow a dog’s established routine and diet. As such, their food (and medication) should come with them. I strongly advise for their bed, bowl and toy(s) to tag along as well. Having lived with dogs of varying fur, I am well versed with dog grooming — regular brushing, occasional de-matting, and basic trimming (if necessary). However, I do not venture into nail clipping territory. In terms of dental hygiene, I prefer giving the animal bones. However, if your dog is accustomed to having their teeth brushed, then I'd gladly brush their teeth. If your dog’s up for an adventure — I look forward to our extended walks or the occasional hike. We usually have extended conversations during our walks, and random sessions of trainings (e.g. command reinforcement). — Because separation anxiety is real, it is in my benefit not to be away from your dog for extended periods of time. I shall also be sending regular photographic and video updates. — I am able to accommodate one dog family at a time [maximum of 2 large dogs or 3 small dog]. Dogs must be potty-trained and mastered basic commands. If you dogs has special needs or is a senior dog, we can discuss to see whether it will be an appropriate match. Currently, I have a rather flexible schedule and often suffer from dog separation anxiety -- so it's in my best interest to be around your beloved dogs. The dog shall stay in the fully-enclosed and well-ventilated kitchen/dining/work area (~200sqft). I often work in the same room, so the dog will not be alone for most stretches of the day. The area is kept clean -- it is vacuumed several times a day and mopped (with hot water) several times a week. My bedroom is immediately adjacent so I am to attend to the dog at night as necessary. There is also a decently sized fence yard, which is partially fenced. — I strongly prefer to have a meet-and-greet prior to confirmation.
“Connie provided excellent care for our dog. She provided all of the information needed before drop-off. Once we dropped off our dog, she provided updates via texts, pictures, and videos on a very frequent basis. She was also very understanding when there was a slight delay picking up our dog due to traffic conditions. Happy to let her watch our dog again if needed.”
