About: I have a small yard and porch for some doggie sunbathing. I live right next to the ski hill or the valley trail for fetch or hiking. I love to go on runs with big dogs or even just short walks around whistler. I work from home and don't always get out enough so walking my friends' dogs have always been a good motivator. I have always loved dogs, but could never own one as a child. While I was in university I took care of a golden retriever with my roommates for four years. I’m available at most times, since I work from home. I can easily adjust my schedule to free up time for any necessary doggie bathroom schedules. I would love to own a dog but I’m at a point in my life where I travel too much and it is just really not possible, so this is the next best thing for me to be able to spend time with dogs! Since I work from home, I am free most of the time, but will occasionally block off some days where I have virtual meetings schedules I have tile floors, and live with easy access to a small yard for potty breaks. I am familiar with the trails around whistler and the leash laws.

About: I've taken care of dogs, cat and a variety of farm animals. I grew up on a farm, and we always had cattle, horses, puppies, pigs, chickens and of course kittens. We always found a batch of kitten in the barn each spring. My siblings and I would nurture and care for them. I have a deep connection with animals. With this strong ability to keep calm and comfortable around them, I win the love of most furr babies. I have worked as an assistant groomer so I can bathe them if necessary. With the dangers of bears, I tend to walk the dogs on their leash, and generally take them to the dog park. However I love a good hike. I have walked dogs and pet sat professional for 3 years in Australia using Madpaws and have had nothing but success. I do not have my own pets due to my landlords, although I am considering a small turtle. Summer 2024 I will be studying online 3 days per week, and reading throughout the day. Making it a perfect job for me to take breaks and walk your furr babies. I am happy to walk your pets 3-4 times per day and include play time. I am very flexible to assist you with your pets needs. If you want some crate training, potty training or administration of medication, I have provided this care successfully in the past.
