About: I’ve loved caring for animals since I was a teenager, starting with my beloved sausage dog (even if some say they’re not “real” dogs!). Since moving to Whistler, I’ve regularly dog-sat for friends whenever they traveled and couldn’t bring their pups along. For the past two years, my partner and I have had a hedgehog, but since he’s nocturnal, I’ve definitely felt a bit of an “attention void” during the day—so I’d love to give your pet all the care and affection they deserve! I work from home as a sales rep for a pool construction company, and ever since COVID, all my meetings happen online, over the phone, or through email. That means I’m home most of the time, which makes it easy to give your doggie plenty of attention throughout the day! We live in a house with a spacious living room where pets can relax and feel at home when I’m pet-sitting. Our neighborhood is perfect for dogs, with dog parks and forest trails just a few minutes away—so your furry friend will get plenty of walks and outdoor time! Even while I’m working, I always keep an eye on them to make sure they’re safe, comfortable, and getting the attention they need.

About: Hi! I’m an experienced animal caregiver who’s always loved being around pets of all kinds. I grew up with cats, dogs, and rabbits, and started pet sitting at 15, so caring for animals has always been part of my life. I have a Horse Specialist degree and have spent years working and living on farms and ranches, so I’m comfortable with everything from household pets to larger animals and different temperaments. I’ve also assisted vets with all kinds of treatments—from surgeries to smaller care like bandaging and injections—so I’m confident handling pets who need a bit of extra care. I truly treat every pet like my own and aim to make them feel safe, happy, and loved. I’d love to meet you and your pet! 😊 I currently work part-time, which gives me plenty of flexibility to adjust to your schedule and your pet’s needs. I have lots of time to play, care for, and give attention to your pet so they feel happy and comfortable. I’m based in Whistler and have my own car, making me reliable and able to travel easily. I’ll care for your pet either in your home or mine during the day, making sure they get lots of attention, play, and downtime. I’m a very active person and love being outside as much as possible, so walks and fresh air are always part of the routine. I live just a short walk from Alta Lake and have the Valley Trail right outside my door, which makes it easy to give pets plenty of fun, safe outdoor time.

About: I have mainly taken care of cats including boarding, feeds, playtime and pats and am wanting to also branch out to look and care for dogs. I am currently working fulltime in the village, however have a flexible working roster which means I am avaliable different times of the day and can adapt accordingly. Am adaptable to whatever the pets needs are. Provide love and care with lots of pats and attention as if it were my own fur baby.

About: I trained my dogs, I have 2 dogs, I really love pets, some times I take care of my uncle's dog, I like to play to them and if the people ask me to train, I like to train them as well, I like to run and play with them, I'm very friendly. I have to work 5 days per week, so, just I can work Sundays and Mondays, I can help to take the dogs care during the week after 5 pm only if is necessary, I can stay in your home for the nights ( same days ,Sundays and Mondays) Honestly sometimes I have more time, so, send me a message and We can reach an agreement. I prefer to take care the pets in their house, I like to play with them, if the people ask me to train or run with them I really like to do that, I'm very friendly with the dogs 🐕, I like to walk with them and caress them.

About: My name is Jennie and my husband, James, and I would love to spend some time with your pup! :) We are full time dog sitters and love having a little companion by our sides. I have a hybrid work schedule where I split my time between the office and home (James works full time from home). Since I work from home most of the time your pup will rarely be without a companion, and we available for potty breaks and a walk during the day. I am comfortable taking on long term stays with your pup and home. James and I live in a 1 bedroom suite in Alpine close to Meadow Park. Dogs are free to cuddle up and hang with us on the couch or in bed to watch TV at night. We spend lots of time outside and love to go on walks and play at the park. We’re available to continue which ever daily practices they enjoy and I’ll make sure they have lots of fun while staying with us! And most importantly, we will keep them safe and take after them as if they were ours. July 1st we are moving into a 1 bedroom apartment in Alpine :)

About: I have looked after dogs and cats for many years. While I don’t have a dog at home currently (my last dog, Iggy, an Australian Kelpie passed away in March at 15 years old) I would like to welcome fur babies from time to time. I work part time from home so I have plenty of time to look after doggies. It’s just my 9 year old daughter and myself and we both adore 4 legged companions. I live on a quiet cul-de-suc with plenty of greenery and snow in winter with a dog park near by (walking distance). I offer plenty of short outdoor breaks or long walks (whatever the preference is). I can provide regular updates and plenty of pictures/videos. I am happy to look after senior dogs or puppies as I have experienced with both.

She not only made sure all his needs were met but also gave him much love and attention, visiting twice a day and hanging out with him on the couch. It was clear when we arrived back that he had been truly well cared for, including his medication needs. We're so grateful for Ashley's dedication and love of animals, including Raven! About: Hi! Our names' are Melissa and David and we've lived in Whistler for over two years now. For the first 20 months of living here we lived with and helped take care of our room mates two lovely dogs. Helping to train, feed and generally look after them, with full responsibility when they were away on trips or nights out. Before moving to Canada we've also looked after friends and family's dogs regularly, from just a daily walk to a full weeks holiday. Normally during the working week Melissa is finished by 4pm so free to visit or walk your dog after this time. David is free in the mornings as he starts work later in the day. If you dog is OK to be left for a couple of hours we can give your dog maximum attention! Otherwise Melissa's office is pet friendly and would be welcome to spend the whole day with me, if happy in that environment. We have a pet friendly apartment but are also happy to help with walks or visit your home to help out. Our apartment doesn't have a garden and is up stairs but we live in Creekside very close to the dog park and other great walks!

About: My girlfriend and I are lifelong animal lovers and have grown up with pets of all kinds! We love having pets around the house, but since we can’t commit to owning one full-time right now, pet sitting is the perfect way for us to enjoy their company and care for them like our own. I’m a self-employed barber who works four days a week, which gives me a flexible schedule and plenty of time to care for your pet. My girlfriend also works from home, so your pet will always have consistent company and attention during the day. :) We live in a cozy one-bedroom apartment right on Alpha Lake with easy access to trails and an off-leash dog park close by! Our home is clean, comfortable, and pet-friendly, and we both have cars, so we’re always prepared for vet visits, pick-ups, or any emergencies that might come up!

About: Everybody wonders why I don’t have a dog. In my free time I walk dogs. They bring me so much joy. And they get me out and about. For the majority of my life I have had a dog. At this point in my life it’s not ideal as I use to and hopefully will travel again for work. I was a canine massage practitioner so your pet will get lots of good pets! I am very active and love discovering all the trails the Sea to Sky has to offer. I have lived in Whistler for 20 years and I am very familiar with the area. If would like to know more please let me know. Looking forward to meeting your furry family member(s). I work for myself so I have a very flexible schedule. I like morning adventures in the woods and maybe one in the afternoon as week! Depends on what the dogs needs! I like to meet the owner and the pets a few times to make sure the pets have time to adjust and the owners feel comfortable with me in their home taking care of their pets.

About: I have over 9 years experience living with and taking care of family and friends dogs. I have cared for many dog breeds from large Mountain dogs to small Cavachon pups. I love to walk pups around the valley trail and forest trails that are close to my home, there’s also a number of dog parks nearby where the dogs can play off-leash. I work from home remotely, part-time and have a flexible schedule so I find it easy to fit in pet care. I am available weekdays and weekends. I live in an a-frame house, close to Creekside. My home has enough space for pups to play and relax. I am a 10 minute walk away from the dog park and forest trails.

About: Having already worked in doggy daycare and kennels in both the UK and Australia I have vast experience of working with all different breeds, big and small. Currently settled in Whistler for the winter, available for every service other than boarding. Different length walks available, as well as drop in visits as required. When housesitting, the dog will get atleast 2 walks a day and fed at their regular intervals. I will only walk off lead if the client feels comfortable with me doing so and I have built that trust with your pup.

About: I am 30 years old and live in Squamish full time. With 6 years of experience pet/house sitting in the Sea to Sky, I have developed strong relationships with many dog & cat parents. I miss having a dog of my own, so caring for local pets brings me so much joy. I grew up caring for neighbourhood dogs, volunteering at the SPCA and assisting at vet clinics. This experience in animal care exposed me to dogs with challenging behaviours and taught me what’s needed to keep your dog happy and healthy. I am also very active, and would love to take your dog on runs and trail walks. I am willing to adapt to different pet routines and keep your animal company with house sitting services. I love incorporating training techniques and mental stimulation into your dogs care. I am open to caring for all breeds and sizes as well. I am very organized and responsible as a service provider. Walking, playing with and spending time with your dog are my top priorities! I work from home which allows for flexible time to care for your pet(s) and go for mid-day walks. I am happy to provide 2+ walks a day for active dogs. I will not be able to provide care in my own home, but would be happy to do home visits or housesit while you are away, in addition to daily walks.

About: I am a very compassionate person that is a huge animal lover. I had a golden retriever for thirteen years but then I lost her because she battled cancer. Dogs are like people and they deserve to be treated with as much respect as we do. Therefore I love every breed and would love to spend time getting to know your dogs and I will walk and care for them as much as they need.
