“Karen was exceptional with our blizzard and kept him for an extra night. She took him on hikes and walks and helped with potty training. Sent us tons of photos and made blizzard feel like he’s part of the pack! They had a great time!! We will use Karen as our go to every time we are in Whistler!”

“Pete was comfortable and happy with Jennie and Jamie. They provided lots of photos and kept in touch. I had confidence in them upon the first meeting. I would fully recommend their care.”

“Truly exceptional caregiver. We got a ton of amazing photos and updates. Jade took the pups on a bunch of daily adventures, meeting friends, and doing their favourite activities. We travel a lot, so making sure our dogs are happy and healthy when we are away is super important, and Jade did a great job at making sure that was the case.”

“Sona looked after our dog, Buddy, while we enjoyed a weekend at Whistler. She did an amazing job, and we couldn’t be more happy at the care and attention. She sent many pictures of Buddy playing in the snow, and having a great time. I would also like to say how impressed we were at her communication before, and during his stay. Thank you again, Sona!”

“Damian was fantastic. This was the first time I have used Rover and left Lenny with a stranger. Damian was great with sending updates and pictures. Lenny is a high energy 2 year old Golden Retriever, he came back happy and tired. I would recommend Damian to anyone who is looking for dog care in Whistler.”

“Hillary was incredible taking care of Panucho—very professional, committed, and caring. She shared photos and updates about how he was doing, and he seemed truly happy and comfortable in her home. We're so glad we found her through Rover; we had complete peace of mind and were able to fully enjoy our days away from our pup. Thank you, Hillary!”

About: I’ve loved caring for animals since I was a teenager, starting with my beloved sausage dog (even if some say they’re not “real” dogs!). Since moving to Whistler, I’ve regularly dog-sat for friends whenever they traveled and couldn’t bring their pups along. For the past two years, my partner and I have had a hedgehog, but since he’s nocturnal, I’ve definitely felt a bit of an “attention void” during the day—so I’d love to give your pet all the care and affection they deserve! I work from home as a sales rep for a pool construction company, and ever since COVID, all my meetings happen online, over the phone, or through email. That means I’m home most of the time, which makes it easy to give your doggie plenty of attention throughout the day! We live in a house with a spacious living room where pets can relax and feel at home when I’m pet-sitting. Our neighborhood is perfect for dogs, with dog parks and forest trails just a few minutes away—so your furry friend will get plenty of walks and outdoor time! Even while I’m working, I always keep an eye on them to make sure they’re safe, comfortable, and getting the attention they need.
“Ty - Can’t thank you enough for taking care of our little girl “Pina” in Whistler, BC. To everyone else, she is a rescue from Mexico and still getting comfortable with her new world. The second she met Ty, we knew we could relax at our daughter’s wedding reception.. First class and will be asking for Ty in any future stays!! - thanks again Ty! - Mike & Arlene (Garibaldi Highlands, BC)”

About: I've always loved animals and had my own gerbils as a small child. As a family we regularly looked after friends' dogs and later got our dog (Cleo, a mini schnauzer). I always helped with looking after her, training, walks etc and love spending time with animals. Now I've moved to Canada, I miss hanging out with pets and would love to help look after your pets! I work remotely most of the week so have a flexible schedule. I'm able to take dogs out for multiple walks a day and make sure they have everything they need! I don't have a garden but I am right on a valley trail so easy access for walks or quick pee breaks! I live in a ground floor apartment with plenty of space for your pet to hang out. If I am looking after your pet in your home, I follow their regular routines to make sure they feel comfortable.
“Lawrence was amazing at accommodating my crazy schedule for pick up and drop off. Charlie was well taken care of, he was a relaxed and happy boy when I came to pick him up. Won't hesitate to ask Lawrence again in the future for help.”

“Sophie and Rob took great care of Lucy, my senior dog, and she had many great adventures and was showered with love. Thank you so much for taking such great care of my sweet girl!”

“Carla and her family were wonderful and they took amazing care of our dog Hansel! They were so loving and welcoming upon his arrival, we immediately felt at ease. We received lots of pictures throughout his stay, and they took him on some great adventures! Hansel can't wait to come back!! Thank you!”
“Amanda and Thomas took care of our dog Red for a day and night when we were out attending a wedding, and we could tell right from start that they are dog people and are super familiar with nervous/anxious dogs. They were both ready with treats for the intro with Red, which was super thoughtful! Red had a great vacation with Amanda and Thomas, felt right at home with them and enjoyed a hike! She was happy to see me when I arrived to pick her up but was also totally happy to stay with Amanda and Thomas. Looks like she had a great time and grateful to have connected with Amanda and Thomas at such short notice.”

“Vanessa took amazing care of our Finnegan and sent us a bunch of photo updates throughout the day. We would definitely book with her again if we were visiting the Whister area ?”

About: I’ve been around dogs my whole life, so I get how to keep young puppies happy and active or give extra TLC to senior pups. Whether it’s fun walks, playtime, or cozy care, I’m all about making your dog feel loved and keeping those tails wagging! Pet care is my daily jam! As a dog walker, I take pups on fun hikes, blending work with love for dogs. My wife’s home to keep an eye on them, and our 5-year-old golden retriever loves making new friends. We have an 8 year old that will also be around the pets but always under supervision. My family loves your dog like our own. I lead leashed walks, staying alert for other dogs. My wife and son ensure constant care, and our golden retriever plays gently. Your pup stays happy and safe!
About: Grew up on a farm in the UK surrounded by pets! Missing them all very much. Expect an active, patient and caring pet carer here. I’m working for BC wildfire this summer, but will have long weekends where my partner and I I would love to look after your pet. Here to provide whatever care you need, my partner and I have a great understanding of petcare needs and can remain very adaptable to individual circumstances!
“I highly recommend Kateryna for anyone looking for reliable,& loving care for their friend. She went above and beyond, with photo updates, coordinations with pick up & drop off. My dog was so excited to see her the day after, and she cared enough to monitor all his behaviour and letting me know about it. One of the best experiences that I had with any dog sitter.”

About: I started pet-sitting when my beloved cat Briciola passed away. I was missing her so much but couldn’t get another cat as I was traveling all the time, so I posted an ad and had the chance to look after three adorable cats while I was studying in Bologna. When I first moved to Berlin I used to walk my host family’s dog Flora every morning and every noon. I would take her to the lake for a 20/30-minute walk. Last summer 2017 my mom and I rescued a little dog in Italy we named Gigio who’s now our sweetheart! He loves to go on the beach in the early morning to take long walks along the shore; he loves to play and he’s such a fountain of love and happiness. I’m currently working full time, so please, send me a message before booking service. I will do my best to accommodate your and your pet’s needs. I live in a fairly big apartment with my partner. We do not have a yard but a small balcony. We keep the door closed all times if pets are around. I also always make sure your pet is under my supervision .

“Ashley did a wonderful job looking after our cat while we were away visiting family. It was such a relief knowing he was in such kind and capable hands, especially given his health issues. She not only made sure all his needs were met but also gave him much love and attention, visiting twice a day and hanging out with him on the couch. It was clear when we arrived back that he had been truly well cared for, including his medication needs. We're so grateful for Ashley's dedication and love of animals, including Raven! We will definitely be calling on her again.”

“We recommend Hillary for your cat and dog sitting needs - she is super personable, very organized, has a genuine love of cats, dogs, horses, etc and can be totally trusted with your loved pet. When it was time to pick up Luna, Hillary had everything organized and ready to go. We could not have been happier with our Hilary Rover experience!”

“Karen was wonderful; very responsive, good communicator and came prepared with a long leash if needed. Overall a great experience. We will use her again! Txs, Deb”

About: My name is Jennie and my husband, James, and I would love to spend some time with your pup! :) We are full time dog sitters and love having a little companion by our sides. I have a hybrid work schedule where I split my time between the office and home (James works full time from home). Since I work from home most of the time your pup will rarely be without a companion, and we available for potty breaks and a walk during the day. I am comfortable taking on long term stays with your pup and home. Since moving back to Whistler James and I live in a luxury RV. Our space is similar to a studio apartment. Dogs are free to cuddle up and hang with us on the couch or in bed to watch TV at night. We spend lots of time outside and love to go on walks and play at the park. We’re available to continue which ever daily practices they enjoy and I’ll make sure they have lots of fun while staying with us! And most importantly, we will keep them safe and take after them as if they were ours. July 1st we are moving into a 1 bedroom apartment in Alpine :)

“Olly was a wonderful sitter for our little fur friend and was willing to stay a bit longer so my partner and I could enjoy a nice birthday dinner while visiting Whistler. Olly came prepared with treats to win our little buddy and gave us updates on Loic's behavior. Thanks again Olly and if he's available to help while you're visiting Whistler I would highly recommend!”

About: Hi! I’m an experienced animal caregiver who’s always loved being around pets—especially cats. I grew up with cats (along with a few other animals!) and started pet sitting at 15, so caring for them has always been part of my life. I have a Horse Specialist degree and have spent years working and living on farms and ranches, so I’m very comfortable reading animal behavior and adapting to different personalities. I’ve also assisted vets with all kinds of treatments—from surgeries to smaller care like bandaging and injections—so I’m confident handling cats who may need a bit of extra care or attention. I know every cat is unique, and I always approach them with patience and respect, making sure they feel safe and comfortable in their own space. I treat every cat like my own and will do my best to keep their routine as stress-free as possible. I’d love to meet you and your cat! 🐱

About: Before moving to Whistler, I had never lived in a home without a cat! They are my favourite animals! I understand their unique personalities and quirks, and I’m happy to provide a calm, cozy space where they’ll feel safe and relaxed, whether that’s in our cozy one-bedroom or your place! :)

I am very responsible, live minutes from the dog park, and get along great with animals. I have been a local for 6 years so I have a good understanding of the neighborhoods in Whistler, and I also understand all the pet restrictions and policies in town. I am very understanding when it comes to cats and dogs, they all have varying personalities and each need a special kind of attention. About: I've grown up surrounded by animals my whole life — dogs, cats, birds — so caring for pets is second nature to me. When I was living in Australia, I got to look after some amazing dogs and made such lovely connections with their owners along the way. I've always been a huge animal lover. I even rescued a street dog from Thailand and brought her home to the UK. She needed a lot of training, love, and patience — but she's now happy, settled, and absolutely thriving. That experience taught me so much about understanding a dog's needs, building trust, and providing the kind of care that truly makes a difference. I'm now a permanent resident of Canada and settled in Whistler long-term, so you can count on me being here for your dog whenever you need. My work schedule for October is Wednesday-Sunday. I am flexible with drop ins, over nights stays and walks. I can be super flexible with my lunch breaks for mid-day walks, early morning walks or evening walks! With planning, I am able to stay at my partners home with pets! The great thing about this set up is between us, we have Saturday, Sunday, Monday, Tuesday off so your pet is unlikely to spend much time alone! I also start 9:30, and my partner finishes 3:30 so we can be really flexible with meeting animals needs. I am also able to stay at the pets home, pop in for dog walks, toilet breaks and lots of cuddles!
About: My love for pets is what sparked me to enter the wonderful world of pet sitting. I understand the importance of trusting someone to care for your "kids". I grew up with a household of furry friends! This is currently my second job as I’m wanting to spend my time giving love to those who need it most. I’m available Mon-Sun 11am - 10pm My services are primarily going to be available for outside my own property within the adventurous outdoors and/or alongside the home comforts of the dogs own home.

“Joanna was very confident and caring with my nervous girl and was very keen to make sure Molly felt comfortable in her home. I appreciated the updates/photos to know everything was going well on their first day together!”

“Carla and family were amazing with our pup! We spent the days skiing and Carla swung by our hotel for pickups and drop-offs which took it off our plate. And oh my gosh, our dog was soooo excited to see Carla after the first day! It was so nice to know he was having as good of a time as we were AND that we didn't need to worry about him needing attention and/or cut our day short while we were out skiing. I received a lot of cute pictures. Carla was flexible with timing and having our dog in day care really made the trip relaxing. Thank you Carla!”

“Sophie was great with our 95 lbs, Doberman Rottweiler guard dog (who is actually a gentle giant). He went with her happily, and came home tired and content. She sent photo updates and extended his stay at the last minute when something came up. I wouldn’t hesitate to use her again!”

Annabel was really flexible with allowing us to book a combination of drop in walks and daycare, and both were exceptional. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Annabel to anyone who is looking for a pair of capable, loving hands to take care of your dog. Thank you Annabel!”
About: My passion for dogs started at an early age as I grew up on a farm in the UK with seven dogs, a wonderful mix of working breeds like Labradors, collies and spaniels, plus a couple of spirited Jack Russell's who ruled the pack. Today, I share my home with Peanut, an 9lb Chihuahua who loves naps, sunshine, people and gets along well with other calm dogs. Over the years, I’ve cared for a wide variety of breeds and sizes—from toy poodles to Newfoundlands, pointers, Staffordshire bull terriers, and countless loveable mixes. This experience allows me to adapt to each dog’s personality and needs. What I Offer I work from home full-time, so your dog will never be left alone. Here’s what you can expect: ✔ Regular walks ✔ Playtime and enrichment activities ✔ Plenty of cuddles and companionship Whether your pup needs a calm, safe space or an energetic adventure, I’ll tailor their care to suit their temperament and preferences. Just let me know what makes your dog happiest. Please note: Due to the size of my small dog, I cannot accommodate dogs in my home that have a strong prey drive. Why Choose Me I’m trustworthy, attentive, and respectful. When house or dog sitting, I treat your home and pets as if they were my own—providing comfort, security, and privacy at all times. My goal is to deliver the 5-star level of care you expect for your beloved companion. ✅ Need a hand with your dog care? Let’s connect! I work from home so can offer all day companionship to your furry friend, plus regular walks and bathroom breaks. There is room in my office for them to hang out with me, or they can choose their favorite spot in the apartment. My schedule is mainly open on week days, but I can accommodate some weekends (advanced notice helps!), so please feel free to enquire about weekends even if they aren't showing. If you have specific directions and instructions to keep your dog safe or happy, I will ensure to follow these. I always use my intuition and experience with dogs to ensure they are happy and relaxed when in my care, whether that is sitting with them, giving them space, taking them for a walk, or anything else they may need. They are all individuals and I will always respect their boundaries to ensure they feel safe and relaxed.

I have lots of time to play, care for, and give attention to your pet so they feel happy and comfortable. I’m based in Whistler and have my own car, making me reliable and able to travel easily. I’ll care for your pet either in your home or mine during the day, making sure they get lots of attention, play, and downtime. I’m a very active person and love being outside as much as possible, so walks and fresh air are always part of the routine. I live just a short walk from Alta Lake and have the Valley Trail right outside my door, which makes it easy to give pets plenty of fun, safe outdoor time.
About: Hey :) I've lived in Whistler for just over 3 years, after moving from Cambridge (UK) and work for the mountain. I enjoy hiking, skiing and going to the gym on my weekend! Growing up, I have had all the pets, including a dog. I also grew up with chickens, ducks, quail and rhea (a bit like an ostrich). I am currently a Team Lead for Whistler Blackcomb so am used to responsibility :). I can be flexible with durations if needed 🐶 I am available most days after 6pm for walks and drop in visits, to look after your pet whilst you enjoy Whistler. I am available all day on Thursday, Friday and Saturday😊. I work Sunday - Wednesday during the daytime :) I treat all clients homes with respect and will treat your pet like its my own, I may also have to take a few cute photos along the way!
“Sophie was awesome…! We brought 2 dogs up to Whistler - both above 80 lbs (doodle mix and Great Dane). She took them out together and they had a ball. What I appreciated most was that Sophie communicated consistently, was flexible when we asked for a longer day (hrs with both dogs), and they explored and adventures…! Our pets are family, and when we go away we want them to have fun, as well. Sophie asked great ?s in advance (not too many, tho) and was delightful. We would recommend Sophie!! ❤️”

About: I have looked after dogs and cats for many years. While I don’t have a dog at home currently (my last dog, Iggy, an Australian Kelpie passed away in March at 15 years old) I would like to welcome fur babies from time to time. I work part time from home so I have plenty of time to look after doggies. It’s just my 9 year old daughter and myself and we both adore 4 legged companions. I live on a quiet cul-de-suc with plenty of greenery and snow in winter with a dog park near by (walking distance). I offer plenty of short outdoor breaks or long walks (whatever the preference is). I can provide regular updates and plenty of pictures/videos. I am happy to look after senior dogs or puppies as I have experienced with both.
About: I've always been an animal lover and I have had pets my entire life; dogs, cats, gerbils, fish and lizards. I've been taking care of pets for neighbours, friends and family for over 4 years. I grew up with a Chocolate Lab, I now have a cat and a 5 year old Boston Terrier with quite a personality as well as a lizard. I've walked dogs of all sizes and temperaments. I will take care of your pet as though it were mine. I love going for walks and bringing your pet along with me will make it even more fun. I'm working full time currently but hours can vary, and in my spare time is when I do pet care. My schedule is pretty wide open, so i'm flexible and welcome your last minute requests. I will follow your schedule for walking and/or feeding, and if medications are required I have experience with that as well. I'm also comfortable working with pets who have anxieties, and behavioural challenges.
About: Everybody wonders why I don’t have a dog. In my free time I walk dogs. They bring me so much joy. And they get me out and about. For the majority of my life I have had a dog. At this point in my life it’s not ideal as I use to and hopefully will travel again for work. I was a canine massage practitioner so your pet will get lots of good pets! I am very active and love discovering all the trails the Sea to Sky has to offer. I have lived in Whistler for 20 years and I am very familiar with the area. If would like to know more please let me know. Looking forward to meeting your furry family member(s). I work for myself so I have a very flexible schedule. I like morning adventures in the woods and maybe one in the afternoon as week! Depends on what the dogs needs! I like to meet the owner and the pets a few times to make sure the pets have time to adjust and the owners feel comfortable with me in their home taking care of their pets.

About: I have mainly taken care of cats including boarding, feeds, playtime and pats and am wanting to also branch out to look and care for dogs. I am currently working fulltime in the village, however have a flexible working roster which means I am avaliable different times of the day and can adapt accordingly. Am adaptable to whatever the pets needs are. Provide love and care with lots of pats and attention as if it were my own fur baby.
About: I’ve been around dogs for my whole life and love getting to know them. I have experience training a very timid and aggressive rescue dog. Pet car fits easily into my daily routine since I’m currently in between jobs and have a very flexible schedule. I love spending time outdoors so taking your dogs for walks would be a great addition to my day! I currently, unfortunately, don’t have a dog. But, I’m excited to fill the empty void with your doggo! I’m happy to follow your instructions to provide your preferred care for your dog.

“Karen was exceptional with our blizzard and kept him for an extra night. She took him on hikes and walks and helped with potty training. Sent us tons of photos and made blizzard feel like he’s part of the pack! They had a great time!! We will use Karen as our go to every time we are in Whistler!”

“Rob took care of my dog, on a particularly rainy day, and I couldn't be more pleased with the experience. Despite the weather, Rob made sure Chalk had a great time. When I picked him up, he was happy and clearly well taken care of. Thank you, Rob, for your excellent care! I highly recommend him to anyone looking for a reliable and caring sitter.”
