I also have Marley, a little Bichon Shih Tzu, who couldn’t be more different! Having cared for dogs of such different sizes and personalities, I know that every dog has their own routine, quirks and ways of showing what they need. I was missing her so much but couldn’t get another cat as I was traveling all the time, so I posted an ad and had the chance to look after three adorable cats while I was studying in Bologna. About: I have looked after dogs and cats for many years. While I don’t have a dog at home currently (my last dog, Iggy, an Australian Kelpie passed away in March at 15 years old) I would like to welcome fur babies from time to time. I work part time from home so I have plenty of time to look after doggies. It’s just my 9 year old daughter and myself and we both adore 4 legged companions. I live on a quiet cul-de-suc with plenty of greenery and snow in winter with a dog park near by (walking distance). I offer plenty of short outdoor breaks or long walks (whatever the preference is). I can provide regular updates and plenty of pictures/videos. I am happy to look after senior dogs or puppies as I have experienced with both.
About: This would be a walk with my dog, too, a very calm and respectful 6 year old Shih Tzu. I trained him using the training standards and public-access expectations outlined by BC’s Guide and Service Dog Certification program. I am happy to share what I have learned! About: I’ve been around dogs for my whole life and love getting to know them. I have experience training a very timid and aggressive rescue dog. Pet car fits easily into my daily routine since I’m currently in between jobs and have a very flexible schedule. About: Having already worked in doggy daycare and kennels in both the UK and Australia I have vast experience of working with all different breeds, big and small. Currently settled in Whistler for the winter, available for every service other than boarding. Different length walks available, as well as drop in visits as required. When housesitting, the dog will get atleast 2 walks a day and fed at their regular intervals. About: I have over 9 years experience living with and taking care of family and friends dogs. I have cared for many dog breeds from large Mountain dogs to small Cavachon pups. I love to walk pups around the valley trail and forest trails that are close to my home, there’s also a number of dog parks nearby where the dogs can play off-leash.
