“Vanessa was absolutely amazing. She took the time to do a meet and greet with us prior to Leo’s sit. This helped put our minds at ease. She was so easy and accommodating. We could tell that she was a genuine dog lover and Leo took to her instantly. It gave us peace of mind while enjoying the spa. Thank you 🙏”

“Hillary was terrific with Jasper, who went to work with her for the day. Cute pics and videos during the day to reassure me he was safe and happy. Would definitely leave Jasper with Hillary again!”

“Michael was a great choice for dog sitting Beans, and was very flexible with our changing plans. Beans had a great time. Would definitely book again if we’re in Whistler and recommend him to a friend.”

“Joanna was very confident and caring with my nervous girl and was very keen to make sure Molly felt comfortable in her home. I appreciated the updates/photos to know everything was going well on their first day together!”

About: I've always loved animals and had my own gerbils as a small child. As a family we regularly looked after friends' dogs and later got our dog (Cleo, a mini schnauzer). I always helped with looking after her, training, walks etc and love spending time with animals. Now I've moved to Canada, I miss hanging out with pets and would love to help look after your pets! I work remotely most of the week so have a flexible schedule. I'm able to take dogs out for multiple walks a day and make sure they have everything they need! I don't have a garden but I am right on a valley trail so easy access for walks or quick pee breaks! I live in a ground floor apartment with plenty of space for your pet to hang out. If I am looking after your pet in your home, I follow their regular routines to make sure they feel comfortable.
“Carla and family were amazing with our pup! We spent the days skiing and Carla swung by our hotel for pickups and drop-offs which took it off our plate. And oh my gosh, our dog was soooo excited to see Carla after the first day! It was so nice to know he was having as good of a time as we were AND that we didn't need to worry about him needing attention and/or cut our day short while we were out skiing. I received a lot of cute pictures. Carla was flexible with timing and having our dog in day care really made the trip relaxing. Thank you Carla!”

About: I started pet-sitting when my beloved cat Briciola passed away. I was missing her so much but couldn’t get another cat as I was traveling all the time, so I posted an ad and had the chance to look after three adorable cats while I was studying in Bologna. When I first moved to Berlin I used to walk my host family’s dog Flora every morning and every noon. I would take her to the lake for a 20/30-minute walk. Last summer 2017 my mom and I rescued a little dog in Italy we named Gigio who’s now our sweetheart! He loves to go on the beach in the early morning to take long walks along the shore; he loves to play and he’s such a fountain of love and happiness. I’m currently working full time, so please, send me a message before booking service. I will do my best to accommodate your and your pet’s needs. I live in a fairly big apartment with my partner. We do not have a yard but a small balcony. We keep the door closed all times if pets are around. I also always make sure your pet is under my supervision .
“Annabel is absolutely wonderful - incredibly reliable, caring and clearly loves and understands dogs. Our pup had a great time and was running to see her every morning when we dropped him off! Annabel was really flexible with allowing us to book a combination of drop in walks and daycare, and both were exceptional. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Annabel to anyone who is looking for a pair of capable, loving hands to take care of your dog. Thank you Annabel!”
About: My passion for dogs started at an early age as I grew up on a farm in the UK with seven dogs, a wonderful mix of working breeds like Labradors, collies and spaniels, plus a couple of spirited Jack Russell's who ruled the pack. Today, I share my home with Peanut, an 9lb Chihuahua who loves naps, sunshine, people and gets along well with other calm dogs. Over the years, I’ve cared for a wide variety of breeds and sizes—from toy poodles to Newfoundlands, pointers, Staffordshire bull terriers, and countless loveable mixes. This experience allows me to adapt to each dog’s personality and needs. What I Offer I work from home full-time, so your dog will never be left alone. Here’s what you can expect: ✔ Regular walks ✔ Playtime and enrichment activities ✔ Plenty of cuddles and companionship Whether your pup needs a calm, safe space or an energetic adventure, I’ll tailor their care to suit their temperament and preferences. Just let me know what makes your dog happiest. Please note: Due to the size of my small dog, I cannot accommodate dogs in my home that have a strong prey drive. Why Choose Me I’m trustworthy, attentive, and respectful. When house or dog sitting, I treat your home and pets as if they were my own—providing comfort, security, and privacy at all times. My goal is to deliver the 5-star level of care you expect for your beloved companion. ✅ Need a hand with your dog care? Let’s connect! I work from home so can offer all day companionship to your furry friend, plus regular walks and bathroom breaks. There is room in my office for them to hang out with me, or they can choose their favorite spot in the apartment. My schedule is mainly open on week days, but I can accommodate some weekends (advanced notice helps!), so please feel free to enquire about weekends even if they aren't showing. If you have specific directions and instructions to keep your dog safe or happy, I will ensure to follow these. I always use my intuition and experience with dogs to ensure they are happy and relaxed when in my care, whether that is sitting with them, giving them space, taking them for a walk, or anything else they may need. They are all individuals and I will always respect their boundaries to ensure they feel safe and relaxed.
About: As a Fear Free™ Certified professional with a deep understanding of canine behaviour, I prioritize your dog’s emotional well-being alongside their physical exercise. Whether we are exploring Pemberton's rivers and lakes or navigating alpine trails, I use positive reinforcement to ensure every adventure is safe and stress-free. My experience volunteering at WAG + PAWS and owning my own dogs has taught me how to handle high-energy puppies and anxious rescues with expert care. I work from home full time. I take my dogs out 4 times a day to parks and rivers and lakes depending on the weather. I am committed to providing your beloved companions with the attention and exercise they need. I believe in positive reinforcement and ongoing training. Your pet will enjoy a safe, fun-filled experience with our family.
“Eric and Micheala, were great hosts and very punctual when we dropped him off and picked him up. Their golden was very friendly and nice for Cypress to have another dog to keep him company”

“Sent updates and pictures and videos! Friendly environment! Adventurous day for my dog! Picked up a happy dog :) and the very next day upon arrival to a second day. When my dog knew exactly where we were going when she got out of my car she ran with excitement towards their home! My dogs happiness said it all!”

“This was my puppy's second time with Lauren and I think he had a great time. Lauren has a new puppy herself and the two puppies got along great, had some good playtime, and side-by-side walks. Lauren was super easy to communicate with and was very accommodating. Her care for dogs is clear and much appreciated.”

“Jessica took great care of my pup for the day. There are many photo updates, walks and engagement. Added bonus was that my pup and her dog played for the majority of the day. She came home happy, well-fed and tuckered out! Definitely will be using Jessica again in the future.”

This was the second time we’ve booked Karen to watch our dog, and it’s been wonderful again. Right when we arrived, Milky actually seemed to recognize her – tail wagging, excited to go inside – which immediately put me at ease. She’s incredibly friendly and clearly genuinely cares about animals. Throughout the stay, she sent me photo updates, which I really appreciated. It was such a comfort seeing my dog happy and relaxed. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, loving dog sitter. We’ll definitely be booking her again!

Hilary was phenomenal during our wedding trip to Whistler. She took care of Ajax during wedding events that weren’t dog friendly and made it very easy by picking him up and dropping him off for the events, even when timing changed (as things inevitably ran late etc.) She also took great care of Ajax, including taking him for walks (his favorite!) and ensuring he was happy in an unfamiliar environment. Thank you very much Hilary!

Our dog Russell had a wonderful day at Lisa’s place. She took great care of him and her kind, caring demeanour made dropping him off much easier. Lisa was easy to communicate with and made the experience simple. We will be booking with Lisa again. Thanks Lisa!

Sona was amazing! She looked after my Stella with short notice & accommodated to all our needs. The photo updates were a real treat for my own peace of mind. And Stella who loves nature walks & sniffs got exactly that too, so she was happy and tired when I came to pick her up later that afternoon. Thank you, Sona ☺️

As a first time Rover customer it gave me great comfort on how responsive Lily was and put me at ease when I was in a bit of a panic about changing up the service last minute. At first meet she was able to assess and did research prior on our Airedale, Mosby. Knowing my dog I was so worried it would be too much for anyone but Lily handled him so well and was perfectly happy and tired by the end of the day. Despite the wet weather we were able to enjoy our first trip ever to Whistler and will be back!

We were visiting Whistler and needed a sitter for a day. Tracey was an excellent choice! She had a nice place with some outdoor space and activities. Her dog and our dog played together well. They took a long walk on a trail and Duncan got to play in a stream - something he loves to do. We got frequent updates and pictures which was great. Our Duncan had a great day and we can't say enough nice things about Tracey, her dog, her home and her care. Highly recommended!

Belen helped us out super last minute with our petulant Pogo. Pogo instantly took a liking to her which is not something he often does with new people. Belen was very flexible with timing and we really appreciated that she let us drop Pogo off very early on her day off to do a big ride we had planned. She was communicative, sent us updates, kind, and easy going. Would highly recommend Belen!
