About: Dog mom of Max since he was 8 weeks old. My parents used to breed miniature schnauzers, so it was really neat to be part of the process of birthing and puppy care ☺️ After an extended break from dog-sitting, I finally am settled in my own home. My partner and I recently moved to Nanaimo and are excited to explore! My partner and I work from home full-time, so our schedule is flexible for daily potty breaks, walks, outside playtime and snuggles. We also like visiting off-leash dog parks and the beach. Max is a very well loved pup! He is a member of the family, is allowed on the couch for a snuggle and sleeps at the foot of the bed. I love taking Max to off-leash dog parks and trails, so if that's appropriate for your dog, that's great too! I am happy to share lots of video and photos while your pup is in my care. I have an open-communication policy so if there is anything that concerns you, please ask!

About: I am 58yrs young and I live with my 6 months old puppy PACO. I have owned dogs, cats, horse, ducks, chickens or birds all my life and lived on a farm until I was 18. I love talking with my pets like they are humans. I love cuddling also. I am very active, therefore able to walk or run with a dog who needs it. I have trails to walk and a fenced area if needed. My puppy Paco Bear is great with other pets and of course loves to play. I live in a trailer and dogs can go on couches. I make sure to wipe paws and fur before roaming if dog comes in from the rain. I work part-time on a casual on-call basis for the Ladysmith Post Office on only 4 hour shifts per day usually. I am available on weekends and weekdays. I have trails to walk and a fenced area if needed. My Puppy Paco loves to play. There is a huge field in front of the trailer for dogs to play and run. I am located far away from the main road. There is a farm house on my right (which is not too close) with a few animals (like goats, chickens) but her home and farm is fenced in and no other animals can get in. She owns a dog but is always inside fence.

About: I am a home owner near ubc trails but I have my own dog safe vehicle for trips to the beach or longer hikes if desired. I was born in Vancouver but grew up on a farm so I have extensive experience with all types of animals. I have a dog of my own as well as several horses. I am self employed so very flexible to suit your schedule and available any day of the week. I have worked with cats and dogs as a vet assistant for many years before becoming a professional horse trainer so I am comfortable handling all types of dogs in a calm and confident way which animals respond well to allowing them to feel confident and safe also.
