It was my first time using a pet sitter while on a road trip to Ucluelet and I decided to try squeeze in some whale watching. Amy accepted Zoey with 1 nights notice and even accomodated an earlier drop-off because I forgot to account for the 45min check-in time for the excursion. Amy sent text & pic updates. Zoey was very well taken care of & even got to enjoy an oceanside walk. :)”

About: Dog mom of Max since he was 8 weeks old. My parents used to breed miniature schnauzers, so it was really neat to be part of the process of birthing and puppy care ☺️ After an extended break from dog-sitting, I finally am settled in my own home. My partner and I recently moved to Nanaimo and are excited to explore! My partner and I work from home full-time, so our schedule is flexible for daily potty breaks, walks, outside playtime and snuggles. We also like visiting off-leash dog parks and the beach. Max is a very well loved pup! He is a member of the family, is allowed on the couch for a snuggle and sleeps at the foot of the bed. I love taking Max to off-leash dog parks and trails, so if that's appropriate for your dog, that's great too! I am happy to share lots of video and photos while your pup is in my care. My background includes working in dog daycares, veterinary medicine, and animal control, giving me experience with pets of all ages, sizes, and temperaments. As a stay-at-home mom, I'm home throughout the day and can provide plenty of attention, supervision, and care. I've welcomed many dogs into my home over the years and treat every pet like family. I currently have one dog and three cats, so my only requirement is that visiting dogs are social and comfortable around other animals.
