We live on a 1/2 acre fully fenced (6ft) yard. Dogs who can handle free roam will be able to do so as the doors are left open in warm weather to come and go. Free to relax on a huge ground level deck in the sun beams or find a shady spot to nap. Play time is party time! We monitor play with our dogs 100% to ensure everyone gets along. I have decades of experience integrating dogs properly to a multi-dog situation by closely observing what is and isn't working for each individual and the dynamic changes required for success! My dogs are well socialized and stable.

Information Catherine C. would like to know about your pet
Please tell me all about your pets! Quirks, and personalities. Special requirements like medical support or dietary restrictions. I can typically accommodate most requests. Can't wait to hear about your family!
A typical day
The best part of the day is waking up to bum scratches and love with a snuggle for coffee time. Hikes, street walks are a given. Car rides and sniff walks for seniors. Tug, fetch, brain games - whatever your pet enjoys. An exercised pup is content and settled.

Pet care experience
My Experience I have spent over 25 years caring for pets of all shapes, sizes, and temperaments. I have advanced canine husbandy, behavioral and training skills. I learned early on how to read animal body language and provide the love and structure they need. Managing everything from high-energy puppies to gentle senior animals. What I Can Handle Special Needs & Medical Care: I am fully comfortable administering oral medications, topical treatments, and adhering to strict dietary restrictions or feeding schedules. I hold Level 2 canine first aid. Puppies & Seniors: I understand the patience required for potty-training puppies, as well as the gentle, slow-paced care needed for senior dogs with arthritis or cognitive decline. All sizes welcome, and all ages from 8 weeks to 18 years. I also handle intact dogs in a multi sexed household. It is difficult to find care for unneutered dogs and that is not a problem here. I personally have owned 4 lb chihuahuas all the way to 90lb powerful breeds. Dogs that may be deemed unsuitable for doggie daycare or kenneling will thrive at my home. I do not take any other animals during the time for these clients, they have individualized needs and I have options for integration or keeping all dogs separate. I typically only take 1 client's dog (s) at a time to ensure safety and to make sure your pup has a wonderful time here. Behavioral Nuances: I have experience with anxious, rescue, or reactive dogs. I know how to maintain a calm environment, avoid triggers on walks, and give them space to build trust at their own pace. My Routine When your pet is with me, their safety and happiness are my top priorities. A typical day includes structured potty breaks every 2-3 hours (for adult dogs), engaging playtime, and daily walks tailored to your dog's energy level. I strictly follow your home rules—whether that means keeping them off the couch or reinforcing their current training commands. You can expect photos and text updates so you never have to worry about how they are doing.
Reviews

Catherine was an awesome host for out puppy. She has a great home, is very knowledgable and provided us with some great feedback on training. Highly recommend.
I would recommend Catherine to anyone looking for a dog sitter/walker. Her experience and expertise in all things dogs is remarkable and made leaving Higbee in her care without any doubts he would be in amazing hands. The yard is spacious for time outside and I loved that the dogs had downtime/space to rest and recharge. Higbee had his crate time as part of his routine with us and came home his chill, happy self. Her pack is so wonderful that Higbee fit right in with no issues and he loved hanging out with her senior gal as he's a bit of a slow natured guy himself. We've done daycare with Catherine over the past few months now and will be leaving Higbee for a weekend getaway this summer; not sure who will be more excited for the stay! My hope is that we will still be able to keep our spot, as Catherine is certainly going to get many new clients here.
Catherine has known three of my dogs over the years, and there has always been a genuine bond of love and respect between them. I trust her completely to care for my dog with kindness, patience, and attention to their individual needs. She has a natural ability to understand dogs and read their interactions well. Catherine ensures dogs feel safe, comfortable, and happy while in her care, and she communicates clearly and reliably with the owners. I would not hesitate to recommend Catherine to anyone looking for exceptional care for their beloved dog.
Catherine has been caring for small and large breed dogs for over 25 years. She is highly skilled at meeting dogs where they are at to provide safe encouraging care. Highly knowledgeable, dedicated and easy to communicate with. Would recommend to anyone.
