About: Avid per lover of cats and dogs! Have grown up with cats all my life, and a dog for half my life. Often asked to cat sit or dog sit by friends and family for the past 15 years. Experience includes: Small dogs, large dogs, and anything in between. As well as any type of feline. Experience with a diabetic cat needing insulin, timid cats, and not timid too. Happy to go for long walks or short visits. I work full time Monday to Thursday, but free Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays. Im also available week nights for walks, or weekday early morning check ins. Happy to help whenever possible. Happy to visit any homes in the Nanaimo area. I drive and can go anywhere between Ladysmith to Parksville if need be. Located in north Nanaimo area.

About: I have professional and personal experience with dogs, working in a professional setting with up to roughly 100 dogs daily (to many...please don't hire me to look after that many) as well as working with strays and rescues out of the country... Just lots of pet experience all around. I am professionally trained in dog and cat behavior, and studied wildlife biology. Not just a dog lover, I can handle all animals well, including exotics:). I am open for over night or a few hours or days. Any time is a good time. I can be flexible for whatever works I pay attention to the animal's behavior and needs rather than wants. Every dog is a new personality and they shouldn't all be handled the same way.

About: I grew up with dogs and cats as a child. As soon as I moved out to Canada, I got my own dog. My kids grew up with all kinds of animals in the house, the animals helped make my house a home. I’ve looked after friends and family pets most of my life and occasionally got paid for it. I took semi retirement early to enjoy life more and work less. I don’t consider caring for a pet a job. I work less the 30 hrs a week so lots of time to care for your pets in your home Lots of exercise, stick to the routine already set up by the owner. My goal is to provide a safe, structured, and caring environment so you can feel completely at ease while you’re away. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine. I carefully plan my schedule to ensure I have enough time for walks, feeding, playtime, and attention. I am available all day on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, and from Monday to Thursday after 4:00 PM. However, I understand that every pet owner has different needs, and I am flexible whenever possible to accommodate specific schedules. I am organized, responsible, and committed to maintaining each pet’s routine so they feel comfortable and secure while their owners are away. Safety and trust are my top priorities. In a client’s home, I respect their space, follow all care instructions carefully, and maintain the pet’s normal routine to reduce stress. I ensure doors are secure, monitor the pet closely during walks, and provide a calm, clean, and safe environment at all times. I treat every home and pet with the utmost respect and responsibility.

About: I’ve taken care of plenty of companions over the last 10 years from fish to horses your furry friends will be in great hands :) I currently work part time so I will have tons of time to play with your animals! Depending on days I will be available to schedule accordingly. While being in your space I find it makes your pet comfortable and relaxed, being easy to tend to their needs and goes for a smoothness transition

About: Hi! I'm a full-time cat mom of two wonderful kitties, Iggy & Hans. They make the rules around here, so unfortunately I can't get a dog right now, but that means I'm more than happy to watch your dog/pets in your home :) I grew up with 2 beautiful Newfoundlands and a Heinz variety, and I'm a huge animal lover. I have experience with young pups/senior dogs, and have some experience providing medication to both dogs and cats. I have the ability to work from home so I'd be with your pet the majority of the stay. This is great for pets who like their routines and thrive on a consistent schedule when it comes to feeding/walking/playtime etc. I've done sits for both active and low energy dogs, so I can adapt to their energy level:) As a cat mom who loves to travel internationally, I understand how stressful and hard it can be to trust someone with your home/pet and I'd be happy to provide as many updates and photos as you'd like :)

About: I have been a pet parent since I was a wee lass, owned mostly dogs and cats but I've also had rabbits, birds, fish and lizards. I have experience with all ages of animals and I used to foster and help train groups of puppies for a rescue agency. I work from home with a flexible schedule so I can be available daytime and evenings as needed. I am also available for overnight stays. I also have experience with reactive dogs and truly understand how stressful it can feel to trust someone else with a pup who needs extra care, patience, and awareness. My goal is always to create a calm, safe, and supportive environment where your pet feels secure and understood. With dogs, I have extensive experience in training, including agility, and I’m happy to reinforce any ongoing training routines you’re working on. While most of my experience has been caring for my own pets and those of close friends and family, I’m excited to expand my services and help more pet parents feel confident, supported, and worry-free while they’re away. I work from home, which means your pet will receive plenty of attention, regular potty breaks, and companionship throughout the day. After work we’ll get a good walk in. They’ll have access to a large, fully fenced yard for safe potty breaks and outdoor time, along with a minimum of one walk daily. Off-leash adventures can also be offered for the right fit. I share my home with two cats and children, so any dog staying with us must be comfortable, gentle, and non-reactive in these environments. For everyone’s comfort and safety, trial meet-and-greets are required for all new boarding clients.
