About: Avid per lover of cats and dogs! Have grown up with cats all my life, and a dog for half my life. Often asked to cat sit or dog sit by friends and family for the past 15 years. Experience includes: Small dogs, large dogs, and anything in between. As well as any type of feline. Experience with a diabetic cat needing insulin, timid cats, and not timid too. Happy to go for long walks or short visits. I work full time Monday to Thursday, but free Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays. Im also available week nights for walks, or weekday early morning check ins. Happy to help whenever possible. Happy to visit any homes in the Nanaimo area. I drive and can go anywhere between Ladysmith to Parksville if need be. Located in north Nanaimo area.

About: I grew up on a farm and have been around animals my entire life. We had hounds and a Bull Mastiff growing up, and I was hands-on with daily care and routines. I was mainly responsible for caring for our goats — including baby goats and milking — and I also helped out on neighbouring farms. I got my first dog at 21, and she was by my side for 13 wonderful years, so I understand the lifelong commitment, love, and responsibility that comes with caring for a dog. Over the years, I’ve regularly taken friends’ dogs on hikes, especially when living in the Interior — everything from extra-large breeds to tiny minis. I’m confident handling different sizes, personalities, and energy levels, and I always prioritize safety, patience, and positive experiences. We’re a pet-loving household, and I treat every animal in my care as if they were my own. I’m home during the work week, which means your pet will have plenty of attention, supervision, and care throughout the day. We have a large property with a fully fenced back yard for safe outdoor time, as well as access to local wooded trails and paved paths for walks and enrichment. I’m able to accommodate regular walks, drop-ins, and flexible scheduling, and I tailor activity levels based on each dog’s needs — whether that’s a calm stroll, trail walk, or extra outdoor time. Your pet won’t be left alone for long periods and will be treated like part of the family. Safety, trust, and a positive environment are my top priorities. We have a very friendly dog and two small children, so it’s important that visiting pets are comfortable around both. Our large, fully fenced backyard provides a safe space for supervised outdoor time. If your dog prefers one-on-one attention, I’m happy to offer solo walks or individualized care tailored to their needs. Whether your pup enjoys calm companionship, structured walks, or extra outdoor enrichment, I aim to create a safe, relaxed, and loving experience for every dog in my care.

About: Hi , I’m Terry. I recently retired and now have time to spend with your doggie. Whether it’s a chill day hanging out at home or out for a good hike or walk, I love the company of dogs. Dogs were always a part of our family when I was growing up. My kid's also shared many happy childhood memories with our sweet Labrador “Jake”. Currently I am not a dog owner but love to help out with my daughter’s dog “Honey” when she’s in town.(not often enough) I’ve worked in health care for 30 years. I can offer genuine, kind , compassionate, safe, fun care to your doggie while you’re away. I’m available any day of the week and can build my day around your dog’s routine and needs. I can accommodate early drop off times. I have a large fenced yard to keep your doggie safe when they decide to go outside. They would not be sharing the house or yard with any other animals.

Kids are gentle and loving of dogs Fully fenced in yard, 2 walks a day or runs around Westwood if your dog likes to run. We are a very active outdoor family who enjoys down time and cuddles.

Every pet I’ve had has had a lot of love and good care Available any time Thursday to Monday 9:00am-3:00pm, if you have another time needed please just request. About: I grew up with dogs and cats as a child. As soon as I moved out to Canada, I got my own dog. My kids grew up with all kinds of animals in the house, the animals helped make my house a home. I’ve looked after friends and family pets most of my life and occasionally got paid for it. I took semi retirement early to enjoy life more and work less. I don’t consider caring for a pet a job. I work less the 30 hrs a week so lots of time to care for your pets in your home Lots of exercise, stick to the routine already set up by the owner. About: Hi! I'm a full-time cat mom of two wonderful kitties, Iggy & Hans. They make the rules around here, so unfortunately I can't get a dog right now, but that means I'm more than happy to watch your dog/pets in your home :) I grew up with 2 beautiful Newfoundlands and a Heinz variety, and I'm a huge animal lover. I have experience with young pups/senior dogs, and have some experience providing medication to both dogs and cats. I have the ability to work from home so I'd be with your pet the majority of the stay. This is great for pets who like their routines and thrive on a consistent schedule when it comes to feeding/walking/playtime etc. I've done sits for both active and low energy dogs, so I can adapt to their energy level:) As a cat mom who loves to travel internationally, I understand how stressful and hard it can be to trust someone with your home/pet and I'd be happy to provide as many updates and photos as you'd like :)

About: I am a huge dog lover! I have had dogs my whole life and am super comfortable around them. I've walked dogs on and off for the past 10 years, and I have had my own rescue pooch for 8 years now. I would be more than happy to walk/board your dog when I am available too :) I have a part time job working as a birth and postpartum doula. Needless to say, I am passionate about supporting families; and your furry friend is part of that family. I would love to fill my free time taking care of your pooch. My days can be inconsistent, but if it works with your needs, then count me in! I have a more gentle approach when taking care of dogs. I have experience with all ages of animals and I used to foster and help train groups of puppies for a rescue agency. I work from home with a flexible schedule so I can be available daytime and evenings as needed. I am also available for overnight stays.
