About: Hi, my name is Lisa! I am a volunteer of ElderDog in Nanaimo (an organization that supports seniors with the care of their dogs) and have been walking a medium-sized Stafford Terrier since the beginning of 2026. He's an energetic and strong dog with prey drive, but I can handle him just fine. I have also been dogsitting a cute Chihuahua on the regular basis in my own home. Back in Germany I was gifted with a dog at the age of 12 (a dream come true) and loved growing up with him. I taught my dog Lucky many tricks and loved brushing and bathing him. If you are looking for someone that is punctual, reliable and truly caring for your furry best friend, I am here to support! ❤️🙌 I am available for dog walking on Saturdays and Sundays. If no projects are scheduled by my employer I can also accommodate walks on weekdays (please check my calendar for availability). About: I have volunteered at a vet clinic, as well as volunteering at an animal rescue group. Recently adopted my very own feral cats Max and Mickey. I do 3 overnight shifts a week (Tuesday-Thursday), so can spend all day with your animals making sure that they are having lots of walks, cuddles and play time. About: Lady was the first dog we had in our family (in the picture) and I had the opportunity to learn most of what I know through her. I was able to learn appropriate dog walking skills, routines for dogs, the importance of play and the impacts of going for longer walks in nature. I typically like to have the appropriate treats for dogs while on walks (depends on any known allergies) and always like have water or access to water with me to ensure hydration is being met after big runs! I’m always constantly ensuring their safety while out and mindful of where I am going. I’m currently working part-time and in school full-time at VIU; I am using this as an opportunity to get outside more; spend more time doing things that I love like going for nature walks and spending time with animals. For pet visits I hold the up most respect for your environment and how you would like me to interact in that with your pet; I have been a pet-sitter for my family and friends in the past and just always ask for exactly what you would like to see from me while there.

About: Hi, I’m Tyler! I’m a programmer who works from home and has a deep love for dogs. I had a golden retriever named Zipper for 10 amazing years. Losing him was incredibly hard, and while I’m not ready to get another dog just yet, caring for other people’s dogs is a wonderful way for me to stay connected with animals I love. I work from home as a programmer with very limited work hours, so I have a lot of free time in my schedule. I like to play chess online in the evenings, and I really only go out on Wednesday afternoon/evenings to the chess club, and am otherwise always home. For boarding: I live in a 1,330 sq. ft. pet-friendly apartment. I got permission from my strata council to have a dog stay here. For boarding at my place, it is especially important that your dog does not bark or whine, and is well behaved (no bathroom accidents, chewing on furniture, etc.). For dog-sitting: I would kindly request that your house be clean upon my arrival, and I will return it just as clean upon my departure. My rates are for taking care of your dog. I'm happy to check the mail and do basic requests like this, but watering plants, mowing the lawn, cleaning the house (outside of my mess) is not within the services I provide. For both: I will be home nearly all the time except for 4 hours on Wednesdays and maybe 20m-1h some other days to go buy groceries or pick up food, etc.

my experience with Maddie on this app was nothing but fantastic. my cat had been diagnosed well after my trip had originally been booked and I had reservations about leaving my pet to someone else so new into his medication routine. Madison was fantastic and accommodating to all of my requests and following the regimented dosing schedule for his medication. I would highly recommend anyone with a cat who has any concerns about pet sitters to contact Madison for their needs.
