Our dog has had a great experience with sara and her family. She's taken for walks and given lots of love and attention. She was happy to go back and seemed very content during her stay.

We've booked Sara for a series of drop-ins twice now. She has been great at making our cat comfortable with her, he is usually wary of new people. Both times we've come home to happy, healthy cat, as well as clean cat food dishes and litter area.

Schedule
I am a stay at home mom, and my husband works from home, so we are able to have a very flexible schedule to ensure your beloved pets get the care and attention they need.

Safety, trust & environment
I have my Red Cross Pet First Aid & CPR certification. I have a fully fenced backyard, and live really close to a lovely park for dog walks. I have a 5 bedroom house, with one room dedicated to cozy animal space, set up with a camera and white noise machine. This is where they are kept on the rare occasion they're left alone, or if your pup requires down time, but they generally have access to the whole house, or at least an entire floor. I am able to segregate the top and bottom floors if needed to ensure everyone's comfort and safety. I have lots of comfy couch space, dog beds, and toys, and I can accomodate both crate trained and not crate trained dogs. Have a terrier that needs to sleep in the bed with me? No problem. A husky that prefers to sleep on cold tile? We can do that. In a client's home, your rules are my rules! I aim to leave your home just as you left it, with happy and well cared for animals to come back to.
Pets
A typical day
Depending on the dog, we'll either take a leisurely stroll through the park, play in the yard, or head up to one of Nanaimo's beautiful trails for a hike, and then come home to enjoy some family time, dinner, another walk, and then some couch snuggles before bed.
