The most I’ll ever have in my care is four Rover dogs at any one time. Dogs are screened for aggression, lice, ticks, fleas. . BOARDING - clients have their separate area and merge with mine when supervised. Feeding is separate and they're never left alone with other dogs, even if familiar. . 👇Prior to Drop-Off Checklist No raw food diets or injections • Checked for health, no flu etc • Recently bathed & well brushed • Trimmed nails - hardwood floors! • Fed, walked, potty • Rover profile completed with vax docs • All packing list items ready, mapped . These pre-existing things might not be covered if theres a claim. We meet in the park near my place to coordinate. . Managing the pack I feed Rover dogs separately in a closed-door basement, giving them space to decompress if needed. My dogs are non-territorial, and your pup gets individual bonding time with me using their own toys and blankets. Bringing a shirt with your scent can also be comforting. . Drop-Off Routine I’ll have an agreement if it’s your first stay. I only accept fully housetrained, un-injured, not sick dogs and appreciate punctuality :) . With each booking I cross reference compatibility of breeding-based behaviour traits with the other dogs that they'll mix with. . We hike daily on beautiful trails accessed directly from my house. . I strive to be the dog sitter you can trust and understand the stress of leaving your pup with someone new. . WALKING - always on leash with situational awareness and we don’t socialize with dogs we meet on trail or go to the dog park . No meet and greets, I integrate as part of on-boarding. . DAY-CARE and DROP-IN VISITS are available in Parksville, Qualicum Beach and Bowser/Dunsmuir areas. . HOUSE SITTING private bedroom with comfortable bed and clean bedding is required for overnight stays, and my three dogs might sometimes need to come depending on dates. Alternatively I can house sit staying off site with visits and walks every few hours plus feeding, morning, evening routines, if your house is in Oceanside

About: I have had pets for over 30 years and have been active with all my pets needs and love that they all require. All my pets won the lottery with my care and love I love to go on multiple walks and spend much time outdoors. I am also very attentive to all animals needs. Love to spend time with the dogs while at home watch TV I walk the dogs and take them out regularly. I spend time playing with the dogs. I make sure their needs are met when it comes to feeding them or meeting any special needs that they owners require.

Whether that means going for a good walk, enjoying some playtime, or simply having a little company, we want them to feel comfortable and cared for. Whether your dog is energetic and playful or prefers a slower pace, our goal is to care for them in a way that feels familiar and comfortable, so they can relax and enjoy their time with us. We both work together on our family flower farm so we have a flexible work schedule during the day to walk your dog or visit them. Most of the time it will be one of us caring for your dog, but on lucky days it will be both of us! Getting to know your dog and their individual needs is important to us. We believe building trust and a good relationship is key to making sure your dog feels safe and happy on every walk. We are good communicators, but most importantly, we listen to how you want your dog cared for and make sure to follow their routine and needs.

During walks and visits, I closely monitor their behaviour, energy levels, and surroundings to ensure they are safe, happy, and stress-free. About: Hey! I’m a Veterinary Assistant with 4 years of experience working in clinic. This has taught me many valuable skills including post surgical / wound care, administration of various medications, dietary needs, and many other pet caring skills. I also have spent a great deal of time caring for my own elderly doggy who recently passed from cancer. This in conjunction with my training has given me a great deal of experience working with high need pets who require complicated care. I’ve also done some casual cat and dog sitting for family, friends, and coworkers. Since my own doggie passed I have been missing my pet time and thought this would be the perfect way to get my fix! :) This September I’ll be going into full time school, as a student I will need to be on the VIU campus for 2-8 hours daily on weekdays. I’ll be available for pet care before and after class, and all day on weekends. :) As someone who has worked with pets of all kinds with varying medical and physical needs you can rest assured that I will have both the skills and knowledge to give your pet the absolute best care!

About: I've had a dog since I was seven and have gotten used to taking care of them throughout my life. I really enjoy going for long walks, so I'm always happy to come over and tire your dog out! I’d love to to take your dog for a hike or to the lake! I find it’s a great way to get outside for me and the pooch! I always make sure the gate is closed when pets are in the backyard, I always check to see if they have enough water and will adhere to your feeding schedule! As a pet owner, I value outdoor time for animals because I notice they're always happiest outside!

About: I have owned one dog and a few cats over the years. Currently, i have no pets as we had to put our dogs of 18 years down last year. I am comfortable with all breeds and sizes of dogs. I am available most days and am comfortable walking your dog in any weather condition. I am a reliable person who always follows through with her commitments and goes above and beyond. I also have a lot of experience with cats as I had them all of my life growing up. Please let me know if your dog has any special needs, dietary restrictions, etc. I look forward to working with your fur baby. I work from home so I am able to let dogs outside in our fenced dog run whenever needed if boarding with me. I can also come to your house to pick up for walks I have two fenced in dog runs on the property and a big side yard (unfenced). I am able to take your dog to a number of trails and parks. We also have a large unfinished basement where my office is located so I spend most of my time there during the day
